Hi Gan, Thanks for creating a space to rant.
The episode was a big WT* to me. Such a big let-down after Saturday.
I haven't watched the full episode, just the first scene..read the rest in the updates. I feel so confused and lost with this show. I feel like a fool for being so emotionally invested in it. The CVs seem to be clueless about which direction to go. We viewers keep analyzing each episode, each scene, every dialogue and gesture of Raman's and Ishita's in depth, whereas I seriously doubt that the makers even mean to show all those nuances that some of the wonderful writers here point out. I sometimes think that its only the viewers' analyses here that gives so much more meaning and depth to the scenes, inspired by the awesome performances by the actors. Such carelessness in writing dialogues..it changes the whole characterization of the person. These inconsistencies have been glaringly obvious since the beginning of this year, like Krishy pointed out on Saturday.
The argument started off very well..just like couples normally fight over their children, very realistic. Raman pointed out how wrong Ishita was, Ishita tried explaining that she was worried about Adi, they both argued, and suddenly they went off on a tangent about men v/s women. Ishita generalizing men saying they all are egotistic and useless people, and Raman pointing out to her that not all women are angels giving Shagun's reference.
I cannot believe Raman said to Ishita "Tum maa hi nahin ho, achcha hona tho dur ki baat hai". Is there a reason for making him look so callous and shallow and say such things over and over again? Are these to foreshadow what's coming? Otherwise, what's the point of it all?
I don't understand why they have to do this everytime, they bring up such relevant issues and sujects which begin with a bang and then lose steam and direction midway, only to rush to its end pathetically..each and every track! Are these writers really so devoid of ideas or talent?
Ishita never realized her fault in the camera matter, Raman got away with speaking the most insenstive and hurtful thing to Ishita, they both go their separate ways, Ishita heads to the SPA while Raman settles for a drink? They both clearly don't realize the extent or gravity of their behaviour, or are affected by the other's. So why am I?
