Divyanka not in 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' post leap?

The story of "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" may be heading towards a forward leap, and what remains uncertain is whether actress Divyanka Tripathi continues to be a part of the show.

The actress might bid adieu to the TV show as her character Ishita will be shown suffering from cancer and the serial will take a plunge towards future on that note, leaving her track's future in suspense, read a statement.

In the Star Plus show, Divyanka plays role of a South Indian girl, named Ishita, married to a Punjabi man Raman Bhalla (played by Karan Patel) for his daughter Ruhi.

"Ishita will be detected with cancer all of a sudden. The family will be shocked with the discovery. Her track might end, though she will not be shown dying. The cancer track will be wiping into a leap," said a source.

It is also reported that the lead pair of the show will shoot some intimate scene and the source added that "Raman and Ishita will consummate their relationship before Ishita is detected with cancer".

good now DT is also Ekta's best frien ab kuch log Anita ko bash nhi krenge ki Anita BFF hai ekta ki..n all...ab toh divyanka bhi bff ho gyi.. ab Anita Ekta ki dosti se jalne jealous hone wale log ..DT Ekta ki dosti pe bahut proud feel & khush honge ...

She still isn't as close as Anita lol and from no where best friends

Plus what does this even have to do with Anita and fans bashing lol!

DT n Ekta are not that good friends. N EK n AH are extremely close friends n like family so there's a big diff there.
If DT does quit which I'm doubting just now. Then I won't be surprised if AH becomes the main lead. This is all only to make her second lead. I really like AH too but making a negative char positive n turning things drastically is just sick.

i saw many fans bash Anita just cos Anita is BFF of Ekta.. so now Divz is also ekta's frnd so they feel proud lol:) by the way Ekta Anita ki friendship 15 years se hain ..Ab 15 years ki frndship ko koi aur frndship replace nhi kr skti aur Anita jitna close frnd Ekta ka koi nhi ho skta yeh Ekta hi ne kaha tha.. btw frnds toh ho gye hai divz n ekta nnn thats good.
