Good Post Leo... the older YHM that put across all familial matters (both big ones and small ones) in a realistic manner seems to be the flavour of the week 😳

I read the WU, and I like the way they are portraying Adi's restlessness and conflict (he wants to be with the girl. he knows he was wrong. he is worried Ishita won't understand him. and he is also mad that she scolded him in front of others) He is at an age when boys don't want their mothers to hug them/kiss them/say I love you to them... even the nice things mothers do is like embarrassment, so I can imagine him being worried about this image 😳

At the same time, Raman's attitude about Adi's crush is quite realistic too. He's shown to be the bindaas type, and he obviously understands a teenage boy's feelings more than Ishita, because he was one.

Ishita's behaviour is also quite apt actually. Other than the fact that she scolded Adi in front of his friends, she's right to be worried. She sees everything through protective glasses (because of Adi's past), and wants to hold his hand every step of the way to make sure he doesn't falter. Although, on the face of it, it looks like she should let the kid be, I do identify with what she is doing. Mothers have usually been like this...

And finally, I am also glad that it was discussed that Adi and Ruhi are not the same, and hence any problems with them cannot have similar solutions.

So, this is for the Adi track... it's not 100% applicable, but i think it will do 😆

My god that pic is so true. 😲

N amazing write up, completely agree with u. 😳

Both Ishita n Raman have no experience of parenting a teenage boy, so obviously they will learn with mistakes. 😳

Besides Raman was always spoiling kinds, he wanted to buy Videogame for Ruhi while Ishita was reluctant as she wanted to discipline Ruhi. Besides Ruhi shared that she had a problem with Mani's child in school with Raman over Ishita coz Ruhi knew that Raman will not b shocked or yell her over misbehaviour n handle it in his own way. 😆

Ishita is a strict parent n Raman spoiling kinds. Actually this combo is gud coz it gives children some freedom n at the same time keeps them grounded. Only thing is Ishita n Raman shud work together not against each other.😛

But i think Raman did wrong in last part..

He just gave signal to Adi that secret meetings and keep secret with ishu

i think Raman is insecured becoz he think that adi will leave him when he become strict on Adi
