Today's episode made me feel quite bad for Subbu. Inspite of the fact that he was pretty awful with Simmi, his fate was pitiable.
This reminded me of the gossip queen aunties of my small town locality whose constant chatters were such a nuisance for me just because my mother never let me do a lot of stuff lest their preying eyes fell on me. I felt for and related to Subbu here.

Also the way people perceived Subbu-Neha interactions guessing Neha to be the victim showed how we are going completely wrong with feminism these days. All the Naari Mukti Morchas and foreign documentaries have given us a biased opinion which makes us judge the man to be wrong, instead of listening to the entire story.

This episode did make me think. I wish the misunderstandings clear soon, though.

Well the man left a woman coz she cudnt concieve a child. This same man was almost forcing his wife to have another child when she too had complications in her pregnancy. 😕
Ya Subbu was wrongly framed by Neha but somewhere he too spoiled some lives n besides it does not give him any right to kill innocent Ananya n Simmi.

In this track everyone is wrong from Subbu, Lakshmi, Toshiji n its coz of their wrong thinking or carelessness that all this mess was created in the first place.

Oh yes Megha, I didn't forget Subbu's flaws. But then I couldn't help feeling bad for him as his case was relatable to me.
The Log Kya Kahenge tendency made me curb countless wishes just because of these gossips.
For Subbu it just went too far. I can imagine the trauma Lakshmi must have been through bearing the taunts with no fault of hers.
