@bold - exactly and *high five* as much as we women appreciate romance and wooing, we all arent always fans of pomp and grandoise, some of us like small, intimate things too - whats vital isnt the scale or the size of the setup its the sentiment put behind it, the thought that counts for us. If its heartfelt a petal of a rose gifted is more precious than an entire shop of bouquets if its impersonal or lacks any personal touch or a connect that ought a be felt in moments like these on an emotional level. 😳

Oh it's just another point on the list of sad regressive things shown on this mature show.

Even if talking about intimacy is "looked down upon" or socially unacceptable...it is a reality of healthy relationships & marriages. By treating it like this, it almost perpetuates the negative connotations to intimacy, but whatever...

It's frustrating to see this type of thought but I'm going to be like doc & tunnel vision watch for the sweet moments.

I loved both confessions though bc they fit each character to the tee!

Raman's was emotional, and mirrored the fact he is a man driven by his emotion.

Ishita's was to the point with a bit of nervousness, just like her character has been.

They both have different love languages, but I think their love language is exactly what the other needs.

With his insecurities, Raman needs someone who confidently assert their unconditional feelings towards him.

With her insecurities, Ishita needs someone who is expressive to make her feel wanted & needed.

What all the meh of the show ...this aspect of their love story has been constant from day 1.

We have seen Raman throw condoms at her to try to give her the memo & now this text. Give the fact Ishita vehemently shut down all prospects of having a kid on their anniversary...I would like to think the baby-making text his his way of getting her to understand what he wants because I, for the life of me, cannot imagine Raman pressuring her to have a kid (unless the CVs conviniently forget that conversation.

They have so much potential to break the mould about the role of intimacy in marriage. Now if this show still wants to retain even an ounce of it's already lost maturity...it would focus on the fact intimacy is a reality of healthy relationships, especially that of a married couple.

Even this show is on during a family time, it could handle this "intimacy in marriage" angle delicately I beautifully. However - I have virtually no hope of the CVs give the time slot, lack of delicacy over social issues, and execution.

Also again - by linking baby-making & intimacy...I am curious to see how Ishita will get pregnant - naturally or with some medical assistance. I have my preference, but it's on the CVs.

Neither do I Krishy, neither do I agree with the way the CVs are taking it forward. In fact it would be plain pathetic on Raman's part if he wants to do it only for babies especially in case of Ishita where he is fully aware of her health issues. He must be insensitive to talk in such a way when he knows he is penetrating the most vulnerable part of hers. It could shook her whole existence all over again. She was rejected for not being able to conceive and no one ever considered her as a woman. And now if Raman too wants her for the same reason as others as in for making babies, I couldn't fathom the hurt and disgust the woman in Ishita must be going through now that she came this far in the relationship!

I do not know how this would have been executed if it was 11PM but now I keep my expectations as low as possible. The amount of heart ache I have to go through will be far less that way. As I said, the CVs have totally lost the plot.

About Ishita getting pregnant, that is not happening any time soon as I do not expect their SR to be done by next week. So, I will wait for it to come. Do not expect any kind of logic even remotely Krishy😆

Krishy, Hema I agree with the both of you so completely.

Just wrote this in the LU to you Krishy and am posting it here,

Even if Raman feels that he can make Ishita overcome her shyness or reluctance or issues with intimacy by dangling the lure of having a baby in front of her, the approach is so, so wrong. Like I wrote already she may not get pregnant ever or may take so much time, or if she does she may have a complicated pregnancy or worse one which ends in a miscarriage or need to abort owing to some complications that leave no other alternative would devastate her if he goes about this in the way he is doing. All of these can jeopardize her mental well-being to the point of depression or even a nervous breakdown, its been known to happen to women who have infertility issues.

In fact had this happened say post the consummation with them having a heart to heart and then a track where the struggles they have to have a child, even with assisted reproductive technology it would have been great - they could have consulted some real doctors for this and made people who dont know of these things even now become aware of options like IVF, etc..
