It took him a year and more
To feel confident and sure
But still he could not say
Either by night or day
Which every lover ya wife
Is dying to hear all her life
That one and only line
Which is and sounds divine
Now why did he take so long
A man like him bold and strong
Have you wondered why
Or even for explanation try
When feelings are true and sincere
And not really just for show mere
They are attached directly
And held very tightly
By your being and heart
Jealously guarded and loathe to part
Those three magic words
Are better felt than heard
When it comes to the real thing
