I m terribly sorry that I m updating after 15 days...and if you need to go back to the previous chapter to remember about the story, i totally get it... I am having difficulties in remembering myself.. However m hoping you havent completely lost interest in it...😳

as a bonus I will try to update the next one by sunday... no promises...will try...

Okay, i kind of forced myself to wrte this chapter.. so forewarning there is no romance in it...however do give it a read to see if you like the emotions in it. when I started writign this story ishita was Ishita aunty for Aadi...do remember that..coz tht is very important.

Now ishita was supposed to be in still in her plaster...but as an economist are best at making assumptions.. i m assuming away the plaster...lets just imagine she is managing to walk around with a stick...i will do that away by next update too...

NOTE: I completeed writign it at 5 am...so spare me for the mistakes... havent goen trhu once after comppleteing it..so might come back later to edit thoda bahut...

Chapter 3B

Raman was finding it difficult to concentrate in driving... He felt like a teenager, being kissed by his crush for the first time. He just couldn't wait to continue her punishment...He looked sideways towards his lady love and saw her deep in thought, blushing profusely. He knew Jo haal dil ka idhar ho raha hain...woh haal dil ka udhar ho raha hain...'

[Her heart is also fluttering the same way his is]

They reached the Bhalla house and went inside...

Inside Bhalla House

The whole Bhalla and Iyer Family were sitting in the drawing room, visibly tensed. The moment they saw Ishita along with Raman, they heaved a sigh of relief.

Ruhi was the first to reach them... "Ishima... Aap kaha chaale gaae the..main kitni darr gayi thi pata hain... But I am a strong girl so I didn't cry.. and Chachu ne bataya ki aap dono fir se fighting kar rahe the...aur fir papa ne mujhe assure kiya aap kahi nahi jaah rahe...

[Ishima, where were you? I got so scared! But I didn't cry, I m a strong girl. Uncle Romi said that you guys were fighting again...but then Papa assured me that you are not going anywhere..]

But...Adi bhaiya... he was saying ki aap unke waja se chale gaae.. nobody loves him. Shagun mamma unhe saath nahi rakhna chahate..aur unke yaha atehi aap bhi chale gaae... Maine unko kitna samjhaya esa nahi hain...but firbhi..."

[But Adi Bhaiya...he thinks you left because of him. Nobody loves him. Shagun mumma also doesn't want him...and now that he is here, you also left. I tried to make him understand that it is not like that...but still...]

Ishita was struck! Who would have thought n impulsive decision by her can be so fatal. How can she be so selfish and not think about her kids.,. She had tears and saw Aadi sitting at a corner trying to dodge everyone's stare. It was clear Ruhi had not informed about Aadi's insecurity to anyone till then because everyone was shocked at the revelation.

She kissed Ruhi and signaled her with her eyes to make her understand that Aadi needed her attention more at the moment. Ruhi being the dadi amma she understood and now that his papa brought Ishima back, she was happy to let her go for the time being.

Aadi was squirming in his seat, trying to avoid eye contact, when Ishita spoke...

"Aadi, aapko esa kyun laga ki main aapke waja se ghar chod ke gaayi... Beta aap meri taraf dekho...please.."

[Aadi, why do you think that I will leave because of you? Beta (Son), please look at me dear]

Her endearment caused his eyes to well up and he impulsively hugged ishita saying...

"Ishima, I was so scared! Maine aapko kabhi pasand nahi kiya...kyunki Mom keheti hain ki step mom kabhi apni nahi hoti... aur isiliye maine aapko pareshaan karne ke liye kya nahi kiya...

[ishima, I was so so scared! I never used to like you... Mom always used to say that a step mom could never love you like your own and that is why I used to torture you in different ways]

but firbhi aap mere liye aapne court main jhooth bola..aur fir jab finally sab thik ho gaya... Ruhi wapas aa gayi...and I chose to stay here with you and papa, fir aap bhi papa aur mujhe chod kar chale gaaye.. Am I so unlucky that I can never get my two parent's love together? Throughout my life, all I was taught was to hate papa.. and now finally I am seeing papa in a new light. I can understand that Shagun Mom and papa not being together doesn't mean that he doesn't love me. And He loves you too.. and look what I have done. I am very unlucky.

[Yet, you supported me in court. Told lies, and when finally everything was alright...ruhi came back home, I also chose to come stay here..then you also left me and papa... Am I so unlucky that I can never get my two parent's love together? Throughout my life, all I was taught was to hate papa.. and now finally I am seeing papa in a new light. The moment I came, I made you leave papa and go!! I am so unlucky...I am so sorry ishima...for everything I have ever done to you, to hurt you!! Please don't leave me. I have always been a possession but never a prize. I know after all I have done, it is hard to love me, but please ishima...dont hate me"

Ishita didn't know what to say! Aadi's words hit her and everyone, with them realizing the deep seated insecurity in his mind.

Raman couldn't believe how can a mother destroy her own child's childhood? My son is no more an innocent boy, thanks to Shagun. But he decided to keep quiet for the time being, because he realized, Aadi has finally found his way back home. He has found a mother in Ishita and they need this opening without anyone's interference. Aadi accepting and calling her ishima...This was perfect. This was Home.

Ishita looked at Raman with tears in her eyes and she could see Raman was trying hard not to cry himself..

" Aadi, please stop crying and look at me beta. First and foremost I am very sorry that I left home in anger. I shouldn't have done that...

Meri aur aapki Papa ki ek fight se main itni upset ho gayi thi ki I needed some time to cool off... But main aapse, Ruhi se aur aapke Papa se itni pyaar karti hu ki main aap logo ko kabhi chod ke jaah hi nahi sakti...and aapko yeh kisne bol diya ki aap unlucky ho.. aap soch nahi sakte aap kitne lucky ho hamare liye.. Look at your papa... Have you seen the shine in his eyes.. It was not there in your absence. He has an extra spring on his toes these days. All because of you.

I can see in your eyes, how much you regret! So its completely fine beta.. And thank you for making me complete. Thank you for calling me Ishima."

Ruhi realizing it to be the perfect moment, ran to hug the mother son duo. Raman couldn't control himself. He went ahead and bear hugged his three precious treasures.

Multiple click sounds from Cameras broke their moment to see that nearly everyone was busy clicking the moment's pictures.

Raman quipped in trying to make the situation light " Ooh yeh to naa insaafi hain, kal hi Ananya ko bhi ek mobile phone laake dunga..."

[Raman quipped in trying to make the situation light " This is unfair...now Ananya is also going to revolt..need to buy a mobile phone for her too..."]

Everyone started laughing. "But sab photo whatsapp kar diyo"

Toshi ji called neelu asking her to make some tea for everyone.

Everyone was lounging in the drawing room talking about the journey Raman and Ishita since their marriage.

Mrs Iyer reminisced " Kitna kuch ho gaya na is 1.5 years main. Socho, yeh dono aur yum ek doorse ko katne ko daurte the... Yaad hain in dono ke shaadi ke waqt...aaiyo kitna hungama hua tha... Aaiyo murugan socho to lagta hain kal ki hi baat haain.. aur in dono ko dekho..."

[Mrs Iyer reminisced " So much happened in this last 1.5 years. Imagine ... Yaad hain in dono ke shaadi ke waqt...aaiyo kithese two as well as us...were alwys trying to bite ach other...How much we used to fight...Aaiyo murugan feels like it was yesterday only.. and now look at them..."]

Mrs Bhalla " Oye Madrasan, kyun re tu aapni naazar laga rahi hain mere bahu bete ke upar... aapno ki naazar sabse pehele lagti haain... "

"Baat to tumari saach hain santoshi.. we should perform a puja for their griha shanti. Finally jab saath haain..

In the mean time Romi and Simmi were trying very hard to crack the mystery of "Bhai ne bhabi ko manaya kese" [How did Bhai pacify Bhabi] and from the coy and guarded glances bhaiya bhabi were giving to each other, it was clear ki "kuch to garbar haain"[ there was something fishy]

Aadi hearing about their marriage had a thought. "Papa, ishima when is you wedding anniversary?"

"Haww, Aadi Bhaiya...aap ko nahi paata... 6^th February 2014 ko hui thi mumma papa ki shaadi...offo main bhi kitni bewakuf hu..., aap to tab yaha the nahi... Kinta maaza aaya thaa hain na bua?

["Haww, Aadi Bhaiya...don't you know?...They got married on 6^th February 2014 ...offo I am so stupid..., you were not here then... It was so much Fun, wasn't it?]

Papa, ek kaam karte hain...aap firse shaadi karlo..."

Raman who was busy reminiscing about their wedding day got the shock of his life... "Kya beta!! Aap bol kya rahe ho..teesri baar?" [What are you talking about? You want me to get married third time!!!]

She started giggling " Offo budhu papa... mera matlab aap aur ishima firse shaadi karlo... last time to Aadi bhaiya nahi the naa..." [Offo Papa... I meant you and ishima have a remarriage... last time Aadi bhaiya was also not here...]

Iyers and Bhalla's who always were in the pretext of doing some masti immediately jumped in.

"Good good oye... yeh chaanga gaal kita ruhi nain... aur yeh perrafect (perfect) hain bhi... itni aadhi toofan jaake aap dono ek saath ho aur aab hamara Aadi bhi hamare saath hain...to yeh bahut aacha pelan (Plan) hain..."

[Good Good oye...this is the best... after so much of hardship, finally you guys are together and Aadi is also here with us]

"Aiiyo saachi Santoshi, last time it was so much fun... and this time.."

"Oyee...tu kuch bole usse pehele mene kehe ditta...last time madras shaadi te iss baar dhol shol te puri Punjabi issytle Shaadi hogi... Manjoor ho to bol...nahi ta hum evehi punjabi style hi karenge..."

[Oyee...before you say anything, let me declare, last time it was madras style..now this time it will be completely Punjabi style wedding... tell me if u agree... otherwise anyway we will do Punjabi style...]

Mrs Iyer was feeling extra generous today so she agreed readily..." Thik hain Santoshi, but agar hum shaadi kara rahe hain..to full rituals se karenge...then your ghar ki baahu needs to stay at her maika before her vidaai naaen..."

During the discussion Raman was sneakily holding Ishita's hand trying hard to look at her to gauge her reaction to the renewal of vows... She was busy blushing and not looking up...Inspite of the absurdity of Ruhi's suggestion, he felt it to be perfect, because it will help them take the vows this time only for Ek duje ke liye' [For each other]...but that was before he heard amma...He has to stay apart from his biwi till their marriage!!
