Chapter 1A
Raman couldn't believe this. He, the Raman Kumar Bhalla was made a fool. He was moving around his cabin like a ferocious caged animal, and he felt like one. He could kill right now. He could surely just wring Subbu's neck for the mess he has created.
Subbu, a person he stupidly empathized with because he felt bad. He understood the pain of losing his loved ones. He thought Subbu was here just for redemption, for forgiveness.
Oh how wrong could he be! A big lie woven by Subbu and Shagun who else!!! Oh god, How much I hate this woman!'
Anyway he can think about this later. Right now what he needed to do is go to Ishita and convince her to stay and see reason. She just can't leave him. Deciding on the same, he picks up his car keys and drive to Taj Hotel where she was putting up.
He got a flashback of how Ishita even refused to stay back at her Amma's place because it was too near to HIM. How it hurt then! Oh Why god! why can't our life be a little more simple. I will bring you back ishita...you have to forgive me... I just can't let you go... No time outs... no break..nothing.. "
Ishita was sitting like she was in comatose like state. She couldn't even remember when was the last time she has used her facial muscles to smile.
She just couldn't believe that this is happening to them. Looking at her it was hard to believe she was blushing and smiling merely a few hours ago. Past few hours felt like a different era now.
How did this happen all of a sudden, she was yet to figure out! Her brain cells have stopped functioning. All she seems to recollect flashes here and there. She left her home in anger and came to stay in this hotel. In her rage she has shouted and declared that she will not stay with Raman anymore. She will accept Dr Batra's offer of heading a clinic in Chennai. She was confounded. They both were angry and hurling abuses at each other. Heaving a frustrated sigh, she tries to backtrack and find what and how exactly things went wrong!
*Flash Back*
Ishita had finally made peace with Subbu. She has forgiven him and she was supposed to present a paper on the new root canal procedure in a conference held at Taj Hotel, Delhi. She was happy because this was good for her career. "Thank God, Raman convinced me to present this paper.. Gosh I feel so stupid now for letting go of such an important opportunity just because of personal grudges..' She was supposed to reach the conference before hand, and Raman has promised he will joining her later. She smiled remembering Raman's exact word .." Aab meri jhansi ki rani, mujhe chhor kisi aur ko lecture degi, yeh to main miss hi nahi kar sakta...aur suno naa...once we are done with your conference, we will go for a long drive. Soch raha hu aaj kehe hi du.. What Say?"
Ishita pouted and then the next moment blushed profusely understanding his hint. But she was also no less... " Kya kehena hain aapko? Yahi ki kaal 7 baaje ke jaga 6 baaje uthaa du".. It was Raman's turn to blush at his blunder the day before. He some how managed himself and retorted..."Oho, u will regret this JKR..you will regret. I will not let you get up from bed tomorrow, Samjhi, baas tera yeh plaster haat jaae mata rani". Ishita was smiling and blushing from that moment onwards and it so hard to concentrate on the paper right now.. " Arrgh,...kya karte ho Raman, Now I am thinking, what will happen AFTER the conference instead of THE conference"..
And from there everything went downhill. It was like a tunnel from which there wasn't any escape route...
