Wow. So outrightly expressive these two moments were. At least for me as a reader...II of course has no clue that these two moments even happened.

What I love about R&B? That he is who he is. He loves his wife. Being the person that he is, he of course won't tell her outright. Being the person that his is though, he will express his love in his own subtle way. He has an inkling of her insecurities so he will choose to answer with "umm...sometimes." Sure he is lying to her and hiding things from her, but those white lies just seem so endearing when you understand the intention behind them. He senses her discomfort regarding the extravagance that she has married into, but he gets miffed when he realizes that her principles about not accepting the Bhalla wealth hold true for every Bhalla across the board. He hates that she treats him the same as everyone else in this regard. He wants to be special in her eyes in every regard. He wants all this, but he doesn't expect or demand any of it.

In any relationship, the essence of trust and love is not in its bind, but in its bond. R&B has chosen to hold the hand of the person whom he loves, rather than expecting her to hold his. He will not force himself or his thoughts onto her, but he will hold her hand tight and continue to live as he is. I just love that about him.

Tumhe MATLAB se miss kiya jaata hai👏👏 Awesome!!! Totally, the bind vs bond to mujhe bhi nahi maloom tha, quite poetic... Ive been married way too long... so nice, holding her hand instead of expecting her to hold his

You could but Ranjan is not that , a guy who cheats on his wife won't plan thenbest wedding in the world with her ,waters her plants you don't do it out of guilt you do that out of love you think Samar is feeling guilty he is feeling entitled .

I am a million % sure Ranjan is not guilty he is framed and no this is not teenage crush this is by just reading the genuineness of the character😳

There is a big difference between cheating and breaking up...For me the first thing is disrespecting the other person...whereas breaking up is different...I wont blame anyone for that...

He could have had an orgy he didnt need two barely adult 17.8 year olds in a seedy Bihar hotel, he could have had a dozen Parisian models all in the same night, he married her for a reason.
She probably doesnt suspect CHEATING, but strongly believes he will TIRE of her, as Ashu says, that part I fully agree

Nothing is black and white EVER..ok rarely perhaps. And the fact that Ranjan didn't say anything, didn't protest or didn't try to explain his point of view when he was found with his pants down doesn't prove whether he actually did the deed. It's difficult to understand what goes on inside a person mind. It could be that Ranjan feels guilty that he let himself be manipulated and caught In a situation which ended up in his life being ruined. Some people live their lives feeling guilty about things they have never done. Such is their personality. And the fact of the matter is that he was caught the way he was... That is the truth...

that one situation ruined his life in such a way that any explanations, whether he did it or didn't wouldn't really matter. It's done! Ranjan could also have self worth issues you know.

Whenever I think about Ranjan, I remember only these lines written by Nish in the first thread

Argent Graines moved out of Gurgaon when their Indian investor fled the country on personal trauma...one of the the Thai partners was summoned to "wrap up" and "pay off the lease" on the plush Gurgaon space

R&B backpacked, worked out of the Paris office, back packed worked some more and plain wasted away ... he did not have as much sex as he got himself drunk

His Mom's image tormented and tortured him and his Dad in his grey boxers standing by the king sized bed, with the woman on it TWO STRIPS of black covered her "assets"

His work involved using the word "assets" a lot, but he was very careful HOW he said it since 2010... he didnt... MUCH...

Whatever you say, a kid should never go through this...If Ranjan wasn't able to clearly express himself even to his children and wife ----- forget about even proving, I dont think he is worth it...Either ways he did a mistake for putting his son through this..
