You are right as only you can question and be answerable to questions about self respect ,sense of correctness is also dependent on ones perception. For II sending a new laptop felt the right and correct thing to do. Manny has flamed her belief that she will be looked upon as a gold digger for marrying R&B, its her perception that she is proving herself correct that she is not after money by sending the laptop even if it is crushing her financial state. She is coming from her earlier talk with manny about the flat and her assertion that Iyers will now visit the flat more, that she is into the marriage for money. She has a set principles and she is rigid to follow them however flawed they are
