I lived in St John's Woods on Tavarakare, so would take the Sarjapur Rd EVERYDAY, my oldest went to a school in 8th block behind that Andhra restaurant... across from Vemana Engg. I would go to Monday to Sunday almost every other day. There used to be a parlor in the strip Mall next door jahan jaati thi, no not fancy just run of the mill... but the best one. AND Anand Sweets and Snacks near Bethany?

HP aur Uttaranchal ki baarish is DIVINE. Dilli is nice if you can watch it pour from indoors.. HP barrish is what movies like Aradhana are made of... I have a lot of Garhwali Kumaoni friends in Dilli... I would hear from them too. You are so fortunate youve seen such beautiful sights... tere ghar ke paas gaane shoot hotey hain.

Koramangala is beautiful like Central Delhi, SO MANY TREES. Ive been to Raheja Residency, not sure for WHAT though... 10 saal ho gaya, memory is hosed... that area is astounding, SO SHADY. Not a ray of sun during the day, its like the Old Blore, Malleshwaram, Jaya Nagar etc

Do u go to Jaya Nagar at all? I would go to a suit shop called Paridhan? It wa sowned by Rajasthanis I think. Unse khoob dosti thi meri

On the night I was flying back to the US, my SIL and I went there ONE LAST time, so I could collect my sewn suits at 9 PM. The cab was supposed to arrive at 10 for the 1 AM Lufthansa, it was the HAL airport then

I told my husband SOME lie and took off... my SIL spilled the beans later(yeh SILs hoti badi unreliable hain😆 MERE saamne to khoob taras ka natak kiya aur uske kaan bhar diye. But I love her she is a cutie). My husband said "TUJHE US se laana hi galat tha, u are like a mental in India"



and that corner sandwich place called Juice Joint? That was the year I think suitcase bombs were exploding all over Delhi I think. One evening my sister in law and I went to Jaya Nagar. as usual I bought myself 3 or 4 materials from Paridhaan, we were eating at Juice Joint. LOTS OF IT crowd, paavam they were leaving for overnight trips back to their home town I think with suitcases and all, one chap left his under those standing only tables... i threw a hissy fit, and dragged my SIL out of the store, and warned everybody "Abhi phatega" types

Some poor sad looking dude came by and grabbed it, my SIL said "Onnoda engeyum vara maaten" (Tere saath kahin nahi jaaoongi)
