CHAPTER 6

'I LOVE YOU' these three magical words and that too from the man she loved crazily!!! Whenever he had uttered those words she had felt like her heart had stopped beating, the time had stopped and people around them had vanished.. Just two of them and their hearts beating for each other. How can she forget that glorious day when he had uttered those magical words for the first time..

FLASHBACK

Raman's DOM room corridor,

'Ishita, I love you with my whole heart , my whole soul, in fact the height of my insanity is that I can bear idli-sambhar every day just for you.'
'Raman, kuch Bhi, be serious sometimes!!'
Raman laughed. He loved her irritated and annoyed face and that sweet KUCH BHI from her mouth.
'By the way, mrs Iyer, I hope you know it's a mutual chat so now your turn...'

Ishita blushed. Her cheeks became crimson red. She looked down shyly...
'I love you too Raman.. I can bear your sambhar jokes for my whole life..'
'Oh!! Competing me?? Not bad!! By the way save some tomatoes, they're already costly these days.'
Again!! Their tom & jerry chase started which would always end into a romantic interaction.

FLASHBACK ENDS

'Mamma shall we go now ?? My coach will kill me if I'll be late.'
'Yes beta, I'm coming.'

SPORTS GROUND OF VV(vivekanand vidyalaya),

Ishita was looking at her son with a motherly proud. He was truly a football champion. His coach had suggested to make him participate in state level competition.

'Romi, do your best. I know you'll get this job.'
RAMAN??!! Here???
She went to him.
'Hi raman!! You here?? '
'My brother has applied for assistant coach's job here.' He tried to cut the conversation.
'Wow!! Romi is becoming responsible!! My best wishes for him.'
'That's none of your concern.'
They both looked in each other's eyes. Ishita was hurt but she could do nothing about his hatred.
Suddenly-
'Mamma, I'm selected as the captain of the team.'
Ishita looked at her son lovingly.. CONGRATULATIONS MY SON!!
Adi looked at the man standing beside his mother questioningly.
'Beta he's Raman uncle..your father's friend' ishita said hesitating.
'Hello Raman uncle!! Nice to meet you.'
Raman didn't know why he was feeling strange fondness to the boy at just their first meeting.
'Hello beta.. You play really well.'
'Thank you.. One game?? .'
Raman couldn't say no. He went to ground with him and both started playing. Ishita was looking at two most important men of her life... If only this could be true!!

'Mamma, uncle lost the bet. So he'll come to our home for lunch.'
Ishita looked at raman. ONLY FOR ADI.. was written in his eyes.
