Another RuMan OS - Papa's Princess

Thank you for all the wonderful and fabulous comments on my first ever OS...Papa's Brave Girl - RuMan OS.

I am so overwhelmed & stunned by the wonderful positive comments and appreciation for what I have written and thought I would attempt to write another OS.

This one is not related to the previous one but kind of the same lines...but with a bit more realistic reactions/behaviour from Ruhi (hopefully!).

The story continues from the show at present (yesterday's episode 27.3.15), so Ruhi is with Shagun and staying at Mihir's place whilst Adi is with IshRa and Bhalla's. Ruhi is still angry at everyone and does not understand why her Ishimaa doesn't want her anymore.

Scene starts in IshRa's room with Mummy Ji trying to give Ishita the loaded drink...

Mummy Ji - " Yeh lo Ishita Puttar ye kara pee le. Humari bahot puraana family receipe hain. Isse pee ke tum aram se so sakte ho. Tumhe neend ki bahot zaroori hain. Tum Ruhi ke liye laroge kaise if you are not strong, mera Punjabi sherni hai tu. Chal pee le beta..."

Ishita takes some of the kara and makes a funny face as the taste is really bitter

Ishita - "Urrghh! Yeh kitna ghanda hain, main nahi pee sakte hoon Mummy Ji"

Pushing the glass away back to Mummy Ji

Mummy Ji - "Tu medicine samaj ke pee le, chalo beta..."

Mummy Ji holds Ishita's nose and gives her the drink, she makes sure Ishita drinks it all.

Mummy Ji - "Ab tu so ja, dekh na tumhe bahot accha neend ayega is kara ke karan"

Ishita lies down and Mummy Ji makes her comfortable

Mummy Ji to herself - "Hey Mata Rani, mujhe maaf karna, par Ishita ko aram karna bahot zaroori hain"

Ishita closes her eyes and drifts off to sleep. Mummy Ji goes out of the room and see Raman coming in.

Mummy Ji - "Raman Puttar tu agaya. Kaisa raha tera din?"

Raman looks up from his phone and sighs, goes to the couch and slumps down.

Raman - "Sab kuch itna complicated kaisa hogaya Ma? Mere samaj me nahi arraha ke main kya karoon."

Mummy Ji goes and sits next to her son, she feels so helpless for her family and especially Raman, he is always the one who looks out for everyone and holds everything together. He is the one who would fight and find the solution to any problem, but today he is defeated and heartbroken. She is at a loss to know how to help him.

She comes and sits next to him on the couch, rubbing his shoulders, Raman looks at her his eyes full of tears.

Mummy Ji - "Mata rani pe bharosa rak, sab kuch teek hoga. Tu chinta na kar."

Raman - "Maine sab ko let down kiya hain, Ishita ko, Ruhi ko, Adi ko, app sab ko..."

Raman sobs on Mummy Ji's lap, while she rubs his head and comforts him.

Mummy Ji - "Tune kya kiya, sab kuch to woh kameeni Shagun ne kiya. Usse to sabak sikhana hoga."

Raman sat up and wiped his tears. "Maine usko abhi koi financial support nahi dungi, lets see how she maintains her high flying tastes now"

Mummy Ji -" Yeh to tune ek changa kaam kiya, Shagun to sirf money or status se matlab hain or kuch uske liya important nahi hain"

Raman - "I just hope this doesn't affect Ruhi too much. I need to do something quick so that she is back with us and safe."

Simmi comes in looking for Mummy Ji.

Simmi - "Mummy Ji aap Ishita ko woh loaded pilaya ta na, now she's mumbling in her sleep asking for Ruhi. Yeh aap ne galat kiya hai Mummy Ji"

Raman gets up shocked and looks at Mummy Ji

Raman - "Ma, aap ne Ishita ko loaded pilaya? You know she can't handle it. I better go and see how she is. Aap bi na Ma..."

Raman rushes to their room and see Ishita tossing and turning. She is sobbing and mumbling.

He goes to the bed and sits beside Ishita. Rubs her forehead, Ishita stops stirring and sobbing, she turns towards Raman in her sleep and hugs him tight.

Ishita " Main Ruhi ki bina nahi jee sakti Raman, meri zindagi hain Ruhi, mera sab kuch. Main apse shaadi ki ti sirf ruhi ke liye, without her who am I?"

Raman kisses her forehead and hugs her back. "It's ok Ishita, i am here, I will sort out this mess very soon. Please try and rest"

He closes his eyes and Ishita also calms down. He thinks about all the times Ruhi has been a part of bringing them together...flashback...then he remembers Ruhi at the court after Ishita had said they wanted to keep Adi with them...

Raman - "Meri pyaari Ruhi kitna hurt hogaya when Ishita said about Adi in court. How do I make her understand why Ishita did this. She is too young to understand Adi's condition, how do I make her realise she is as important to us as her Adi Bhaiya and that we all can't live without the both of them...how?"

Raman close his eyes and thinks about what he should do.

Raman - "I have to do something, I can't see my princess like this..."

Another RuMan OS...Papa's princess

Part 2

Raman woke suddenly to find himself in the same position as he was last night when he came to see Ishita. He didn't realise when his eyes had closed and he fell asleep. He was still in his office clothes, Ishita was fast asleep but seemed to have a peaceful look on her face. She had her arms around him and face on his chest. Raman carefully moved out of her embrace and slipped out of the bed.

It was 7am, Ishita would normally be up and about getting Ruhi ready for school, but as Ruhi was not around Raman thought let her lie in, she will only get sad if she wakes now. Adi was at his football camp so she didn't need to get him ready either.

He freshened up and changed into a new outfit for the day ahead.

In the dining area, Mummy Ji and Papaji were having breakfast, Raman came down and sat with them.

Mummy Ji - "Are Puttar tu bada jaldi uthgaya aaj? Ishita kaisee hain?"

Raman - "Ma, Ishita teek hain, so rahee hain. Maine socha usko so ne dun"

Papaji -"Yeh sahee hain, usko so ne do, usko aram ki zaroorat hain"

Mummy Ji - "Tu breakfast me kiya logi?"

Raman - "Kuch nahi Ma, main Mihir ya jaraha hoon, wahi breakfast karungi Ruhi ki saat"

Mummy Ji - "Tu Ruhi se milne jaraha hain? Usse hamari taraf se bahot sarey chuma dena"

Raman - "I am not sure she will speak to me, let alone let me hug or kiss her. But I will not give up until she talks me. Main bhi uski tara ziddi hun, akhir baap hoon uska!"

Raman grabs his phone and keys and goes out the door.

Mummy Ji "Bhalla Ji, hamari Ruhi kab ghar wapas ayegee? Hume use intne din beghair reh nay pati"

Papaji - "Oh Toshi Ji, tum chinta na kar, Raman ne sab kuch jald se jald theek karenge, tum dekh lena"

Raman arrives at Mihir's place, he knocks on the door and Rinki answers.

Rinki - "Are Bhai app?"

Raman - "Teri shaadi hogayi or tu humay bhul gayi? Undar nahi bhulaogi?"

Rinki - "Of course Bhai, come in, are Mihir look who's here.."

Raman walks in hoping that Shagun isn't around, he is not in the mood for facing her right now.

Mihir - "Good Morning, Bhai, aaj subah subah humay yaad kiya?"

Raman - "Ruhi se milne aiya...Shagun ghar par hain kiya?"

Mihir - "Nahi, you just missed her, some morning breakfast date with her girlfriends or something...she asked me to take Ruhi to school"

Raman - "Thank goodness for that, wasn't in the mood for dealing with Shagun and her nonsense this morning, Ruhi kahan hain?"

Rinki - "She's just waking up, I was about to go and wake her and help her get ready for school"

Raman - "It's ok Rinki, I'll go and do that, tu breakfast ready kar, main aur meri beti ek saat kahengi"

Raman rushes to the room Ruhi is staying in, as he stands by the door and sees his little princess face down fast asleep. Raman stands watching her for a while and smiles.

Mihir comes and pats him on the shoulder.

Raman - "Thanks yaar for having Ruhi stay here, it is such a relief. Sorry you have to have Shagun here too"

Mihir -"Please don't thank me, I am glad I am able to help in this unbelievable situation. Shagun is so selfish, she doesn't even realise you are behind her being here"

Raman hugs Mihir and then walks into the room.

He is thinking what do I say, how do I calm my little princess's anger...

Raman - "Aree mera princess abhi so rahin hain...utho Ruhi beta, school nahin jaana kiya?"

Ruhi still half asleep says "Five more minutes papa, pleeeaassseee?"

Raman smiles and sits beside her, gently strokes the back of her head.

Raman - "If you stay in bed any longer there won't be any aloo paranthas left for you as Papa will eat them all. So you better wake up quick"

Ruhi gets up with a start and says "That's not fair papa, you know aloo paranthas are my favourite! Ok, ok I am up now"

Raman smiles and pulls her into a bear hug. Ruhi is enjoying being close to her papa but then suddenly remembers where she is and pulls away.

Ruhi - "Papa, aap yahan kiya kar rahee hain. Main apse nahin baat karongi, aap jaye yahan se" she looks away with her arms folded.

Raman turns her towards him and holds her face in his hands.

Raman - "Aap mujse naraaz hain main jhanta hoon. Par papa apko bahot miss kiya to aana para"

Ruhi was still looking down with her arms folded.

Raman - "Papa Ruhi ki kiss or hugs bahot miss kiya."

Raman holds Ruhi hands and brings them to his face "Maine daari bi nahi rakha as I know my Ruhi likes me soft soft"

Raman hasn't shaved in many days, so has a full face of a beard. He rubs Ruhi's hands on his face.

Ruhi - "Haw Papa, aap ne jhoot bola. Aap ko daari to bahot hain"

She looks up at him and wags her finger at him

Ruhi - "Jhoot bolna achi baat nahin hain, Papa."

Raman - "Meri Ruhi nahin hain to main meri daari kyun shave karun? Or koyee mujhe kiss nahin dehti"

Ruhi - "Ishimaa kiss nahin dehti apko?"

Raman shakes his head.

Ruhi kisses both his cheeks and makes a face "Aapki daadi chubti hain, bahot bara beard hogaya. Aap abhi shave karna hoga. Main meri papa ko soft soft cheeks chayein"

She gets off the bed and drags him to Mihir Chachu's bathroom.

Ruhi - "Mihir Chachu ki shaving kit use karo Papa. Main brush karke aati hoon"

Ruhi runs off leaving Raman with a huge grin on his bearded face.

When Ruhi returns, Raman has shaved and grabs Ruhi in his arms.

Raman - "Ab kiss milega?"

Ruhi kisses both cheeks and smiles, "All nice and soft soft, ab Ishima bi apko kiss karenga!"

Ruhi realises what she said, she remembers that she is upset with her Ishima, she is about to jump out of Raman's arms but then Rinki comes and says "Aap dono yaha hain, wahan Mihir sab paranthas katam kardengi, you better hurry otherwise there will be none left!"

Ruhi - "Oh no Papa, jaldi chalon, Chachu ne humare liyen nahin rakhenge!"

Raman - "Yes, yes let's go, I am so hungry I could eat 100 paranthas!"

Raman carries Ruhi into the dining area and sits her down. He sits beside her and Rinki serves them both.

Mihir - " Ab to main koi paranthas nahi paungi. Ruhi or Bhai to sab kane wale hain"

Rinki comes and sits beside Mihir "Tum to bahot ka chuki ho, tumari pet bhar chuka hain! Or anyways you should take care of what you eat, tumari waist kuch zyada bar chuka haina Bhai?"

Raman - "Oh no, no don't bring in this husband wife discussion, come on Ruhi lets eat"

Rinki smiles and side hugs Mihir "Just kidding, you carry on, I'll go and get some more paranthas"

Raman looks at Ruhi and winks, she laughs and says "Rinki Bua or Mihir Chachu kitne cute hain, aap or Ishima ki tara fight karte hain or pyar karte hain!"

Raman - "Ruhi beta, tumhe Ishima se baat karogi?"

Ruhi stops eating "Main Ishima, apse, sabse kaati hoon. Main baat nahin karungi kisi se"

Raman - "Aap to humse baat kar rahi hain, toh Ishima se aise baat karogi na. Woh bahot sad hain apke bina. Aap baat karogi to unko acha lagega"

Ruhi looks at her papa and can see his pleading eyes.

Mihir - "Ruhi beta, tumhe yaad hain when you had a fight with your friend Priya at school about Raj. You fought because Raj wasn't playing with you anymore and only with Priya so you weren't talking to Priya. Then in class the teacher put you three together to work on a project and you had to talk to Priya although you were mad at her. If you didn't you would all lose marks and fail the class. So you put aside your problems with Priya and worked really hard and got the best marks in the class. Later Priya told you that she was sorry and you were friends again"

Ruhi - "But Chachu that's not the same, Ishimaa ne mujhe chor diya Shagun Mamma ke pass, who mujhe pyaar nahin karti. Woh sirf Adi Bhaiya ko pyar karti..." Ruhi starts to cry and runs away to her room.

Raman - "Maine kaisey samjao Ruhi ko, ki Ishita yeh decision kisliye Iiya."

Mihir - "You can't Bhai, you have to give her time. She will talk to Bhabi when she is ready. For now let her be."

Raman - "You are right, I need to give her time. I'll take her to school now"

Mihir - "You sure she will go with you Bhai?"

Raman - "Main meri beti ko kaisey mannaun mein achi tara jaanti hoon, just follow my lead"

Raman goes near Ruhi's room and says "Hey Mihir, maine kaisey bhool gaya ki aaj Papaji or MummyJi ki anniversary hain, meri samaj nahin araha hain main kiya gift dun unko, I better go and get something otherwise I will be dead! I have no idea what to get them. Ok see you later Mihir, bye Rinki."

Ruhi hears this and gets excited, she loves going shopping and she knows her papa is not good at picking gifts, she remembers the toothbrush he gave her so Ishimaa and laughs.

She runs out and grabs her papa as he is about to leave, "Are budhu papa, aap Daadu or Daada ki anniversary bhool gayi. Main apko gift lene help karungi. Mujhe app ki saat lejao shopping karne"

Raman smiles and looks at his little Princess. "Aap help karogi mujse? That's great, par ab to apko school jaana hain. Hum school ki baad chalte hain shopping, ok?"

Ruhi - "Ok, papa, let's do that. App humhe school drop karogi phir baad main pick up karke hum shopping karungi. Let's go.."

Ruhi grabs her school bag and pulls her papa towards the door.

Ruhi - "Bye Chachu, bye Bua. Papa le jayenge hume school, ok?"

Raman smiles and walks out with Ruhi holding his hand in hers.

He looks at Mihir and says "I told you I will take her school na?"

Mihir smiles and says "You always do what you say will Bhai, that's why you are Raman Kumar Bhalla"

Raman drops Ruhi at school. "Ok beta, I will see you after school for our shopping trip. Main Shagun Mumma ko bhol dungi. See you later sweetheart"

Ruhi runs into school waving to her papa, she is excited about their shopping trip later. Raman drives off also anticipating the shopping trip with his little princess.
