I was in a daze.
My mind suddenly stopped working.
My vision became blurry.
My feet refused to move.
My eyes could not blink.
Am I dead???
Am I even breathing???
Is my heart still beating???
It was hard to process until something hard crashed into me and gathered me from both the sides.
When I heard a familiar voice saying "I Love You Anamika" I realised I was in Ajnabi's arms.
So I was not dead yet!
I wish I was!!!
I was back to what I was before he hugged me, a living statue: not moving, not blinking, not seeing, not thinking.
I don't know for how long he had been hugging me.
I broke out of the reverie when he loosened the grip around me and held my shoulders and shook me.
I snapped and looked at him.
"Kya hua Anamika? Aise kyun dekh rahi ho?" he asked.
I did not respond. My mind was still recovering from the shock.
"Yaqeeen nahi ho raha? Mai hun...Tumhar Ajnabi"
'I know that already. That is why I am in a shock' I wanted to tell him but my lips were sealed.
"Mujhe khud bhi yaqeen nahi ho raha ke mai tumhare paas hun. Par ye sapna nahi haqeeqat hai. Mai yahan hun tumhare saamne tumhare paas"he said holding my arms.
"Akhir maine tumhe dhoond hi liya. Pichle ek hafte se dar dar ke thokar kha raha hun tumhe dhoondte dhoondte. Na mujhe tumhara naam malum tha, na hi tumhara patha. Ye to achha hua ke RKB ne sahi waqt pe mujhe phone kar ke bataya ke tum yahan ho. Warna patha nahi mai tumhe dhoond paata bhi ya nahi"

I now looked at Raman who was still standing behind Ajnabi.

Unaware of the silent conversation between the two, Ajnabi turned towards him "Thanks RKB. Tum nahi hothe to shayad mai abhi Anamika se nahi mil patha. Thanks a lot" he said extending a hand for a shake.
Raman smiled and shook his hand.
I was waiting for him to look into my eyes, I had many more questions to ask.
I could see him stealthily glance at me and then get back to staring at the floor.
Look at me Raman please I begged in my mind.
I wish he had the power to read my mind!
"Kya soch rahi ho Anamika?" Ajnabi asked.
Which reminds me Ajnabi could read my mind.
I now stared at Ajnabi with a hope that he reads my mind and conveys it to Raman!
"Yahi na ke mai yahan kya kar raha hun?"

"Janta hun ke tum soch rahi hogi ke itne waqt tak gayab hone ke bad aaj mai achanak tumhare samne kyun aa gaya. Janti ho jab maine tumhe pehli baar call kiya tha aur tumne mujhe pehchanne se inkar kiya tha, mere liye meri duniya jaise khatam hi hogayi thi. Tumse milne ki aur tumhe pane ki koi ummeed baki nahi rahi thi. Lekin jab 2 hafte pehle tumse bath hui to mere dil me ek nayi umang jaag gayi. Mujhe yaqeen hone laga tha ke tum bhi mujhse utna hi pyar karti ho jitna ke mai. Isiliye maine Bangalore ke tickets book kiye. Mujhe patha tha ke agar tum mujhse pyar karti ho to wahan zarur aaogi. Magar kismat ka khel dekho ke jab mai wahan pahuncha, tum wahan se nikal chuki thi. Phir se mai tumhe paane ki ummeed khone laga. Tabhi tumhari likhi hui note mujhe mili aur mujhe poori tarah yaqeen ho gaya ke tum mujhse pyar karti ho. Tab se lekar ab tak tumhe dhoondne ki har mumkin koshish ki aur phir finally aaj tumhe paa hi liya" He explained.
