Ishita's POV
I had made a decision and now nothing and no one could stop me.
I took my phone and hit the call button after taking a deep breath.
The pace of my heartbeat increased with every ring.
Fortunately, the call was recieved on the third ring! I EXPECTED the thumping of my heart to come back to normal.
But I was so wrong!
As soon as I heard his voice, my heart threatened to jump out of its chamber.
"Hello" he said.
I did not reply...
I was totally at loss of words...
"Hello" he said again
I was clueless how to start the conversation.
Indeed it was me who made the call but right now my mind was totally blank and I did not know what to say.
"Hello...Are you there?"
"He...ll...o" I said nervously.
"Thank God tumne baat to ki" I could here him sigh.
"Wo mai...mujhe aapse..." and before I could complete he spoke up "Mai tumhare ghar ke neeche hun. Tum neeche aa sakti ho?"

Remember that feeling I had before?
I was literally tasting my liver now.
While in school, when my teacher explained this Muhavra, I had told my friends "I would never know how it feels like"
My friends had wondered why...
And I had told them "Because I am a pure vegetarian"
We had a good laugh then.
If I had ever known that I am going to taste my liver like I did twice today, I would have never joked about it.
And let me tell you, the liver tastes like dirty socks.
Not that I have ever tasted a socks, but I can definitely imagine what it tastes like.
(Author's Note: What a co-incidence! My hubby just returned from office and he is making me smell his dirty socks😡 He has this annoying habit of throwing his dirty socks at me or my mom. So I can tell how a socks tastes. Not that I have ever tasted it😉)
"Hello"
"Haan"
"Tum neeche arahi ho?" he asked expectantly.
"Ok" I said
"Mai intezar karunga"
"Ok"
When did he come here?
Had he been waiting here all the while?
Did I do the right thing by calling him?
I again reflected upon what I had decided and concluded that whatever I had decided was right.
Like I said before I had made a decision and now nothing and no one could stop me.
I quickly washed off the tears strains that had ruined the make-up I had done for the Valentine's Party and made sure my appearance would not scare him off.
There he was standing arms across his chest and a smile adorning his face, leaning against his car.
The moment I saw him, I was right in making the decision.
I just wanted to reach him as early as possible and stay in his arms forever.
My feet and heartbeats raced as I took quick strides towards him.
Cluck opened the door to the passenger seat and I halted as another figure emerged from behind the door.
Jise hum chahte hain, hum unke qabil nahi

Jahan raste to bahut hain, par koi manzil nahi
