Thank You Coco..for starting the thread and it was wonderful to see Gan's collages. I was feeling disappointed, as was logging in, knowing that Gan is not gonna post for a bit- till the track gets better. And was wondering where to go. And here U r, with ur lovely quote anddd... Gan's collages!!
I did not watch the episode from 23rd, Monday but watched the Tuesday, 24th March episode, after reading a few posts here. The first few minutes of the court scene was so heart-breaking. Did they have to show that? 😭😭!! Ruhanika is a fab actress. Bless her!!
Coming to the current episode, it was certainly a GOOD episode. Almost close to reality, the consequences of such decisions- on both parties. Though DT, KP and the rest of the ensemble cast did complete justice to their roles, I am sorry to say- I haven't felt an ounce of pity for them. Not even seeing their tears. Even Ishita's falling ill and calling out for Ruhi did not move me.
I am not stone-hearted, in fact quite the opposite. I cry buckets 😳 watching sad scenes and hence try and avoid. But no, they could not move me. What moved me, was Ruhi baby. My question since y'day was how dare they do that to a 7yr little girl? And I was disgusted with Ishita's dialogue ki Ruhi would understand. Really? Ishita surely is delusional. She truly believes that she is a "Mahaan" and hence everyone, including a 7yr little girl would understand her 'so-called' good intentions. I am not judging or questioning Ruhi's love for her Ishima or that of Ishita's for Ruhi, neither Bhallas love for Ruhi. I am only questioning and criticising her/ their actions and the decision that she has taken. Its time for the Bhallas to face reality.
I was so happy for Ruhi's dialogues. I did not think for a sec, she was OTT. She was bang on! That little girl had seen a lot in her few years of life. Yes, agreed- she is more perceptive and mature for her age, and in fact more than her 12yr brother. But, she is still a child- especially a child, who saw neglect from her dad, who sought out love and found love in her Ishima, who started building a secure home in her heart, who started rejoicing in her new found HOME (the true sense of home). And what did she receive?? Public humiliation of not being wanted, and that too coming out of her Ishima's mouth.
What Ruhi is going through is EMOTIONAL ABUSE!! She has already been through NEGLECT by her father in the past. These are quite serious, when we talk about Child Abuse cases.
Though it is not about Adi Vs Ruhi, Adi was at least fortunate enough not to go thro' them. He felt wanted and loved, albeit for the wrong reasons, but he doesnt know that.
The only other scene I liked was Raman threatening Shagun and thankfully wiping off that ugly smirk of her face. God... can someone just slap that smirk of her face forever??!!! What kind of a human is she? Such Narcissistic personality. She truly doesn't care for anyone, including her own kids. She already started her slow-poisoning of Ruhi. And boy, I was so glad that Ruhi just walked away from there. Smart little princess!!
As many of you have already pointed, I did not understand the logic behind the Bhallas shushing off Ruhi's topic. Why????? Some of U, very clever people, rightly pointed out that by dusting it under the carpet is not gonna solve the problem. Adi needs to be talked to. I haven't watched the previous episodes, hence cannot comment if Raman talked to Adi or not, regarding the suicide ?attempt. He is a 12yr old, old enough and smart enough (even to scheme and plot) to understand things. He should be explained things, be shown right from wrong and also to directly address the ?suicide attempt. But having said this, who in Bhalla's family is smart enough to do that in the 1st place? Its high time for them to buckle up and do the right, sensible, mature things for once.
Well, anyway, YHM started to fail logic long time back.
IshRa's scene did nothing to me . Surprised by myself. I am a romantic but unfortunately didnt work today.
I am sorry to have offended anyone. Not my intention. These are purely my PoV, my opinions. I do not like negative criticism, it drains me. But, I have not been able to stop myself since y'day. From being a quiet spectator that I was, in the last day, I have made so many posts on this topic. NOT me!! But this heart-breaking of a child broke my patience.
Again, please do not misunderstand me. I'm not bashing any real people here, just the characters.
I am all for IshRu, then anyone and anything else. And if it comes to Ishita or Ruhi- RUHI all the way. I know what children go through when they feel unwanted. And I've seen so many cases of Neglect/ Abuse in children that, there are no words to describe them. And though this is a fictional show- I have my emotions invested in this, that I can't stop reacting.
