"I DON'T CARE!" Harry yelled at them, snatching up a lunascope and throwing it into the fireplace. "I'VE HAD ENOUGH, I'VE SEEN ENOUGH, I WANT OUT, I WANT IT TO END, I DON'T CARE ANYMORE!" "You do care," said Dumbledore. He had not flinched or made a single move to stop Harry demolishing his office. His expression was calm, almost detached. "You care so much you feel as though you will bleed to death with the pain of it." ~J.K. Rowling, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

"The reason it hurts so much to separate is because our souls are connected."~Nicholas Sparks

I wanted to discuss today's episode because I saw potential in it. So I asked G and she told me she wouldn't be opening up the thread. I hope you guys don't mind.

Today's episode was definitely better than yesterdays. It was a set-up for the upcoming track. Sorry G didn't know what else to call the thread.

I don't if Ishita's decision was wrong or right because I am not a mother. I wouldn't know how to choice between my children. Both children are equally important and both have suffered a great deal a lot due to their parents' divorce. So how do you choice between your son who is so mentally unstable that suicide is on his mind or your daughter who's who life is about her Ishimaa. I have been saying this a lot. No matter what decision Ishra would have made, one child would not have gotten the justice they deserve. Do you make the choice that is less evil? Watching the court scene was heart wrenching. You had Ruhi begging her parents not to do this and you have parents who guilt is killing them. The human emotions of this track are brilliant portrayed that is what is hard about the track. Especially for someone like me who is very sensitive when it comes to children. I cannot watch Ruhi and Adi suffering for their parent's mistake even if it a fictional show.

Now coming to the episode, it was much better than yesterday. It was not surprising for Ishita to fall ill. As mother, I cannot comprehend what she must being going through. She broke her little girl's heart even if she did not want to. It's not easy for Ishita and Ruhi to separate because their connection is from the heart. When you're connected from the heart and when that person breaks, it hurt more than when the average person hurts it. Ishru are soulmates so the hurt is beyond to be deep. Ruhi has every right in the world to be mad at Ishita because the person she loves more in the world broke her trust. Ruhi is too young to understand what and why this happening to her. For once I am happy the cvs should Ruhi this way because it would be odd for a 6-7 year old to be so understanding. It's true that Ruhi is mature for her age but the cvs should not show her in an adult form.

I really want Adi to find out what Ishita did. Adi as deserves a mother just like Ruhi. I him to realize what Ishita did was what a mother could do. She didn't differentiate between them even though everyone knows how deeply connected Ishru's love is. Even Adi himself has realized how much they love each other. Before I didn't mind if Adi didn't accept Ishita as a mother. All I wanted was him to consider her a family member. Now I want him to accept him as a mother because she sacrificed Ruhi to save his life. She deserves both children.

The scene between Ruhi and the Bhallas was an eye opener for them and for once I didn't feel bad for them. The whole GKC jaap is finally showing its results. Toshiji defentily deserve every word Ruhi said to her. She is one of the people responsible for the mess the family is in right now. If it wasn't for her, Raman wouldn't have made such a haste decision and Ruhi would have been in this mess right now. I know I am properly the minority in this but no matter how much Toshiji jaaps about GKC, she loves her children a lot and she makes blind decisions based on them. I don't doubt her love for Ruhi one bit but I don't feel bad for her either.

My favourite scene today had to be the Raman- Shagun scene. For once I am happy Raman made the decision not to financial support Shagun. This woman has a big ego and for once it was nice for Raman to target Shagun's weakness. If Shagun uses Ruhi has a source of income, then this is the final nail in the coffin for Shagun to loose both her children. If the cvs play their cards right, the Ishraru separation will not be long.

---Notes---

  • I am glad Ishita realized that both of them working separately has caused problems for them. I was happy when she said that we will work together.
  • I don't understand if Raman can change in front of Ishita, then why can't they share a bed. #cvslogicmakesnosense.

Thank-you for taking initiative! Look forward to reading everyone's thoughts!

EDITED:
So, I just got home from a 3 hour anatomy lab and I need some self-care time!!!
I'm watching the episode now while writing my thoughts simultaneously.

Firstly, because my BP rises everytime I think about it, I have decided to give up on logic, with regards to how the hell Shagun was able to get custody of either of her "children" - what with her homelessness, for starters, among all of her other shortcomings.

Fore warning, the flow of this may be a little jumbled (partly because I'm tired and partly because this is how I think, and I'm just putting that into words).

My heart breaks for Ruhi... I am technically/legally not a child, some would consider me an adult (very few ppl), but if I were to put myself in Ruhi's situation... I think I would just about die right then and there. I could imagine my heart actually breaking. And in this hypothetical situation, I am aware of all the facts, the whole story, everything about why I am in that situation. Ruhi is 7-years old!!!!! She should not be subjected to this kind of torture. She is supposed to look to her parents for guidance and answers. Why can't her parents just sit her down and TALK to her??? Oh, I know, maybe because they can't even talk to each other properly. Well, until today that is. Which brings me to my next point.

IshRa had a conversation. About working together, sticking together through thick and thin.. like a family should and does. I have always (from the beginning) said that the Iyers have this dysfunctional trait in that they do what they think is best, without really talking or consulting other people, be it their loved ones... Ishita, Bala (technically not an Iyer, but might as well be), Mihika, Amma. That bimaari has spread to RKB as well. So, back to the convo, I'm happy. I have said in the past that I don't really care if they show touchy scenes with IshRa, I would be so much more satisfied to see emotional bonding... TALKING... COMMUNICATION. I have waited for those words to be said (in today's episode) for MONTHS now. If the holi scene showed progress in their physical relationship, their conversation today showed progress ten-folds in all the other aspects of IshRa's relationship. However, whether they can abide by what they discussed is a different story... and if the CVs will LET THEM do it is a WHOLE different issue (CVs have a bimaari of self-induced amnesia). That being said, #Puttar is very comfortable with Biwi it seems... I am happy at the pace their relationship (the physical aspect) is PROGRESSING... minus the couch situation, of course. #Why is Biwi so thick-headed sometimes? Also, #Puttar looks HANDSOME as heck in the red shirt... so I guess both Ishita AND Raman can't wear red ever... for fear of setting screens on fire.

Bonding with Adi. It was nice... it was needed.

Anita looked pretty in the face region. Damn Shagun, though, to the deepest parts of purgatory. I don't want to talk about her anymore This is self-care time for me, remember.

Ruhi-Ishita scene:
Ruhi is ABSOLUTELY justified with her behaviour. She is a child who feels (rightfully so) rejected and dejected. I'm glad Ruhi's soulmate, her mother, understands the love in her anger. Something no one else understands.

Next scene, and I'm crying... "Koi mujhse pyaar nahi karta... apko Ruhi nahi, Adi bhaiya chahiye... KOI MERE LE NAHI LADA, KOI NAHI. ISHIMA BHI NAHI." The "Khatti" part is simple and Ruhi's innocent emotions behind it. I LOVE RUHI... SHE is my #JigarKaTukda.
Ruhaanika Dhawan... ENCORE. 👏

Raman-Apshagun scene:
DANG, the real RKD is clawing his way out. Rejoice!!! "Latt maar ke sadak pe chodunga" Ek latt meri taraf se bhi, please!!!!! GTFO, Apshagun.

IshRa scene was sweet. But... what kind of genetically modified rice are they consuming that like, only 4 grains are enough to suffice their daily nutritional recommendation. 🤣 Also, they shared a spoon... chummach wala, not the OTHER kinds 😳 COH-UTE!

I saved comments about my #Bae for the end, 'cause she's special. DT looks fantastic in salwar kameezes/Chikan kurtis! Yesterday's episode was emotional draining for the viewers and DT, it seems... Get well soon, #Bae!

Thanks for opening this thread, cocololo123! (sorry I don't know your name) It's nice to meet you, my name is Sai.

Hope everyone is ready for the 400th episode tomorrow!

Thanks Coco.

I was missing our usual discussion space.

Loved what Ruhi told the Bhallas. Yes, a child should never be put in that situation in the first place, but since our drama loving TRP ke bhooke CVs have decided to show this illogical torturous track, then at least Ruhi's dialogue was long overdue.

How can Ishita expect a 7 year old to understand why she was abandoned, so publicly, without any explanation?

I did like the episode though I can't understand why Adi has to be pacified by pretending Ruhi no longer exists. That I don't get.

If this track is supposed to be to show Ishra getting closer, couldn't they have done it without killing the essence of YHM?

That's the first time he was changing in front of her, right. Otherwise he takes his clothes and saunters off. So it takes them losing their child ho get them comfortable with each other?? 😲

Kya kya dikhate hai 🤣

Hey Vee. I also don't agree with why Adi is being pacified by pretending Ruhi is not here. Yes he is mentally disturbed but he is not stupid to enough to realize that people are stress for Ruhi.
@bold couldn't agree with you more.

Ruhi is mad at ishita bcoz she is hurt. This is acceptable. What would make matters worse is if they show ruhi getting brainwashed against ishita by shagun. This won't be acceptable. This shouldn't be the next move by the cvs.
Ishita n Raman need to realise certain facts. They need to realise the imp of communication.

Ruhi bursting out at bhalla about gkc ws much needed. She spoke our mind. At least somebody did.

Hope things get back to how old yhm was N that too v soon.

#miss old yhm
