This is the first time I am making a non story thread in this forum. It was serious enough that I had to make this appeal.
Recently few of my friends, one of them even writes on this forum, have found out that their stories have been stolen and pasted elsewhere.
The original writers put in lot of time and effort to churn out the stories and some X steals it shamelessly.
We had previously made lots of appeals to IF team to do the needful to prevent this copying. presently only the first page can be made secure using no copy tag but the other pages with subsequent updates remain prone to copy.
Nothing more hurting and painful to see our work in another place under someone else's name. The original writer literally becomes an alien to their own stories in that place. Its really heart wrenching.
All my writer friends in other forums are removing their stories off IF and probably I will have to do the same if no action is taken to preserve our work!
I request all the writers and genuine readers here to make your appeal in this thread. This is required to gather attention towards this grave problem
