Superb Priya... I loved your way of looking at the scene... Somewhere, i agree with you. He needed Ishita's support too...Raman is committing this mistake...So, he'll definitely set things right... Adi will be the gamechanger in this round. Shagun is bracing herself for facing the worst blow very soon... If Adi gets assurance, he'll change this game...

"Our intentions may be very good, but, because the intelligence is limited, the action may turn out to be a mistake - a mistake, but not necessarily a sin, for sin comes out of a wrong intention."
(Pic credit: Nichi)This is all that i have to say about that poignant scene between Raman and Ishita in their bedroom. When my TV screen had Ishita's blush and Raman's hug, attention was attracted towards those tears which was spilling from the corner of Raman's eyes. There's no point in arguing over a hypothetical situation as to what would have happened to their relationship if they had consummated their relationship. So, i will stick on to what was shown.Had Raman jumped over Ishita on entering their room, i would have blamed Raman for being cheap. Had Raman taken the next step today without remorse and guilt, i would have blamed Raman... But, Today, i am not having an opportunity...More than Ishita, that day has truly been a roller coaster ride for this man. While he was moving with the guilt of separating the mother-daughter duo, his Ishita freed him off his guilt by informing him about Vohra's encounter in school. For the first time, he got relieved that his son is finally ready to shoulder some responsibilities...as a brother... To treat his son, he entered his room with ice cream without knowing that his heart is going to melt... What a pathetic sight... His son was reading about a suicide... The next stop was before a counselor who advised him after Adi's issue.Raman used to question Ishita often as to why she's not Adi's biological mother... Today, that car scene made me feel that... Life would have been more easy if the choices that life present are between right and wrong... Its not the case...Its right vs right else wrong vs wrong... Today, this father chose an option which is relatively less wrong. Yes, Ruhi is getting hurt and Raman didn't ignore that. So, this man will save his daughter too. From day one, Raman has maintained his stand on something...He's a normal family man and he's not a super hero. Today, he proved that...Once again. His desperation was visible in his body language but he doesn't have a choice too...Finally, after this tiring day, after killing a part of himself to save the other part which is killing itself on its own, he entered the room. Why can't Raman talk with Ishita? Should Raman fake that desire?Had i been in Raman's place, the same would have happened. Ishita is excited about having Ruhi back... She's excited to the extent of ignoring his drunk state. She's assuring him that they'll get Adi back. How can this man talk to this selfless woman that he's going to separate her daughter from her?So, he decided to use the last weapon in his hand to distract Ishita. Today, the desire was clouded by guilt but does that mean that Raman never loves her? In every single move, there was love and guilt of using this innocent soul to lay his hands on the paper... Before this intention of Raman, his action was nowhere seen...WIth open arms, i am welcoming healthy criticism but please ensure that the discussion stays healthy...Thank you...

Shagun's days are counted for sure Kri. Adi has already understood how mean and money-minded Shagun is. He was sad that the bhalla family also prefers Ruhi over him. But I think he has got the much needed assurances both from Raman and Ishita, through the talk Raman had with him and the talk Ishita had with him, thinking that he was asleep. I have a feeling that Adi was not sleeping and was in his full senses, listening to Ishita's words. So will be all the more convince that Raman and Ishita really likes him and wants him with them. The final assurance to him is going to come in the form of Ishita prefering Adi over Ruhi... So it would be really to good to see Adi showing Shagun her actual place in everyone's life.CheersPriya
I appreciate your take on the events. I saw his anguish and tears but it could not accept his actions. he knew what he was doing was wrong but he still continued to seduce per with primary goal being the letter. I wish they would have shown him trying to seduce her, his tears and realisation that it what he was wrong. It would have shown more of his inner turmoil and helplessness.I believe he loves Ishita, but how is she going to feel knowing that the reason for his seduction at that moment was not because he couldn't stay away from her as he had implied. As i watched the scene, i actually cringed. i am a massive Ishra fan but this left a bad taste in my mouth. If this stupid track ever ends and there is a slight breather, I suggest they all go to counselling.

Kri, such a wonderful post. Then I saw 10 pages on your thread in such a short time and thought am I that late? But voila- most of it was puttar gushing-owning-drooling, etc😆
I actually think this is the most important track of the show. I was hoping it would come much later, else what will they show us after this super climax?Yes the show at times does go OTT, but there is a basic story which the Cvs r telling us, leave aside the legalities and the logicalities😆We all want Ruhi to be back with Ishima, but if that happens tomorrow the show will shut down faster. We need to sit back and enjoy the journey rather than jump to the destination. It is like we have just walked in to see a movie and we want to see the end first😆So I like your post since it has that theraav, which can calm over-excited viewers. I am liking this track since I can finally see the end of Shagun and her manipulating the kids... I am also sure Adi will have a huge role to manaav Ruhi once she gets angry with Ishima.I was never too much against Ishita when she took Ruhi away neither am I against Raman for what he did. If their hearts are in the right place even the sometimes wrong looking actions dont feel that wrong after all!But yes every day with Shagun is going to be tough on Ruhi.See the irony of it all- the biologocal mom leaves no oppty to harass her kids and keep them away from their happiness and security just to score revenge points - first it was Raman and now it is Ishita. Shagun has not been able to come to terms with the fact that Raman loves Ishita.I am enjoying this track too. I know Ruhi cant hate her Ishima for long. Adi was willing to help earlier too, now he will definitely help. and am sure even though Ishita is not expecting it, he will start calling her Ishima soon. What a huge change from the time he had sent her to prison and tried to get her out of the house?I was also tired of "Ishita loves only Ruhi, she will leave Raman", etc... just coz one says something when one is angry does not mean they mean it or will do it! I guess this track will also be a response to all Ishita bashers that is if they want to see the light...😉😆See you on Gan's thread.Love, Cheers!

No matter how much are intentions are good, are actions speak for us and we are judged on it. I felt no connection today. As much as I understand Raman's predicament towards his children, I found him getting imitate with Ishita for a piece of paper cringe worthy. It was playing with emotions. The biggest problem with this couple is there lack of communication. Clearly telling her about Adi wouldnt have change Ishita's motherly instincts towards one child. Clearly she choice Adi's well being over Ruhi's innocent love. The lesser evil of the two. Because as much as Ruhi needs her parents, Adi's needs them more.
