"The strength of a man isn't seen in the power of his arms.
It's seen in the love with which he EMBRACES you."

Steve Maraboli

~Edit

What an episode!!..A father and husband at his wits end about the whereabouts of his two angels finally gets some lucky breaks and rushes to restore the order in his universe. A daughter who is wise beyond her age takes care of her ailing mother, reminding her about her medicines and also thinks on her feet to make the right call to her Papa to take care of the situation. Her relief on seeing her dad, his relief on seeing his daughter and wife...there was so much spoken in the embrace that the father child exchanged.

"Was it you or I who stumbled first? It does not matter.
The one of us who finds the strength to get up first, must help the other."
Vera Nazarian

A husband and wife finally taking the stride in the right direction...this is not his or her fight..this is their fight and they need to fight it together, with no secrets, no hiding...They don't know what awaits them tomorrow but atleast they have each other by them, to face what comes their way. I loved that little scene that started with her expressing her honest feelings about him hiding stuff from her...but the minute she finds him feeling guilty, her tone changes and she reaches and cuddles his head sort of as a gesture of assurance...their embrace and her falling asleep in his arms exhausted but clasping onto his hand for support. And that admission of Raman's " Main tumhare aur Ruhi ke bina jee nahin paunga"...just tugged at my heart. I also liked that slight momentary hesitation on his part while assuring her he's going to fix the situation about Ruhi,...

Episodes like these just make me stick through all the crap I endure sometimes served the the CVs of YHM...because they know their core of the story...the relationships that ties YHM together...and we got some amazing moments of love of a child for her mother, of a man for his wife and child and of a couple who found a way to still reach for each other when situation forced them to be otherwise.

Karan, Divyanka and Ruhanika...just mind blowing acting ...these three donot need dialogues..their eyes, expressions, holding, body-language convey more emotion than pages of dialogues.

I dont know whether anything I wrote made sense...if it doesn't just look at the pics...they describe what transpired onscreen today😳

Both the collages are great tonight! @Gan

It was a great episode- heavy with emotions yet not burdening to the heart. Loved Raman-Ruhi scene. Karan was fabulous. But the most profound scene was of course of Raman and Ishita. It was a defining moment for their relationship- way more important than C&C. I hope CVs get what they've shown and don't screw it up by taking them back to square one.

Mihika now gets shoved by Shagun? The girl who used to bit up eve teasers is officially dead now!

P.S. Divyanka is one super woman! She's so sick yet she's giving 200% as Ishita! She's taking acting and professionalism into a new level.

lovely collages gan...both the scnes were so so endearing...n kudos to u for capturing them so perfectly... i love ur ruman collage so so much...

are u going to update ur post???

edited once more...
reposting my comments in Kri's thread...

it actually was a beautiful epi... it had everything... mother, father, wife, husband, daughter, sister... everything...i m so loving it, tht all the supporting cast is also playing a role here...

except for the shagun scene.. (god...she is a such a pain...) i wanted mihika to just slap shut her... aargh...

yes runnign away was not the best solution here... n i m glad tht the judge will point tht out... n ishita ofcourse is regretting tht... but then again... she cant be truly hold responsible.. we turn desperate when it comes to ur loved ones...n who said we always have to be logical n sane in our behaviour...

to err is humane...

n i loved ishraru scenes so so much... dil ko thandak par gaayi..ishita didnt say..its all ur fault...she said agar sab discuss karte to yeh nahi hota naa... loved it.. yes more storm to comne...but all will be well soon...n ishra together with adi will fight it out,...m sure of tht..

Res... to the end of running on emotion and finally pausing to take a breath and clinging onto the ones that matter as you await the inevitable consequences... and to ISHRARU...finally!

----EDIT----

G! Sorry for the long delayed un-res, but life and IF technical/data eating issues just got in the way... but it was an absolutely beautiful episode. Finally I got my RAMRU moment and it was one of the best ones to date.. his love and pain and mostly his guilt and relief- so beautifully portrayed. Even in that moment, despite al the worry that he had been in- his first instincts was to assure his girls that he was there, with them- always. That they were together and because they were together everything would somehow set itself okay.

And then the ISHRA scene... how perfect was that? Yes I want that complete breakdown and gut wrenching talk - but this was not the moment for that. This was the moment for comfort and solace and the sharing of pain. She acknowledged her pain, and in comforting him , acknowledged his as well. On this I have to say how much i am loving the changes in the physical comfort in their relationship- compare this to the last time she was hurt and in bed and he was comforting her... after the bachelor party. Then he offered his assurances and arms... and today a nonchalant kiss on the forehead- because it's not a big deal anymore. Because they've crossed those boundaries- that is important.

They have reached that level of physical comfort... sadly the mental connection is not quite there. They trust, of course they do- but there is a certain hesitance there in both their parts, because of who they are, who life taught them to be .. and they need to overcome that. And it seem this track will be the stepping stone that will make that hesitancy shatter. And then his words 'I can't live without you'... how far they have come. For him they are a unit as much as hey are to us. ISHURU are a unit and ISHRARU are a unit... what will happen then when Ru is temporally distanced from that unit? Will ISHRA be enough? Can they find the strength and worth in their unity to be enough? That will be one of the biggest questions of the coming episodes...and as much as I love my Ru baby, I can't wait for this answer. Because an finding that affirmative answer in this regard will also mean an even more loving home for your little princess.

I can't wait to watch the episode, seems like the good old subtle and mature YHM is back that focuses on tender moments between an unconventional family. My heart soars when I see such tenderness and love on indian television.
I am not going to watch the episode till the end of my study day because if I watch it now I won't be able to stop myself from interacting with all of you.

You know I have been quite about the mother vs wife debacle of 'debate' on this forum because I never understood the argument of a mother vs. wife, in mind Ishita is a mother AND a wife, in all of this Ruhi is that ray of sunshine that brightens Raman and Ishita's life. I am not saying that Raman and Ishita's relationship is solely based on Ruhi but Ruhi sure is a reflection of their beautiful relationship.

A few lines for Ruhi, the soul of the show and a reflection of her parent's lovely relationship.

Be back at night to update and chitchat after studying and watching the episode,

PS: Raman and Ruhi collage...so many feels!!!

Cheers to our dadi-amma, Ruhi, for calling her dad when things took a turn for the worse!
And what made today's episode even better was that we got a fabulous Raman-Ruhi scene that took my breath away again!

KP, DT, & RD deserve all the #awards for their recent performances! All 3 of these actors have continually proved their metal, and really leave competing shows in the dust. Regardless of the real duniya, they are absolutely fabulous on screen and should be praised accordingly! When I see performances this powerful, I'm just left awestruck. 👏

Also thank you CVs for not breaking my little string of hope in you!👏

#Cheers to small moments of togetherness
#Tellyland law & order is insanely illogical

...just un-resed this but no changes made to my original post...

I absolutely loved the episode! It had all the elements of the old charm of YHM. And those collages Gan- Especially the Ruman one, just took my breath away. Beautiful!!!👏

I could not connect to ishita in saturday's episode. Even today, I find her actions wrong. But do I blame her? Hell No. A mother's desperation could clearly be seen in all her actions today. She has committed a grave mistake and she will pay for it- probably by losing her daughter for a little while. But I believe they showed the original judge not being here for a reason. Ruhi will be back- But right now I am very interested in watching how these two beautifully flawed people are going to fight to bring back their daughter. The final ishra scene today- their conversation- Ishita saying what she did- gives me hope that they will fight this together- and will come out victors.

Coming to the scene of the day- The Raman-Ruhi scene. Simply brilliant. That relief, that joy on getting back his daughter and his wife- his two lifelines- KP and RD hats-of. I can hardly believe that KP and DT are not parents in real life. They literally live their characters. Hell with the damn offscreen drama. These three are sheer magic when they are on-screen. I have never before been this affected by any hindi tv show- Mind you I have seen a fair few- even if it was forcefully coz of my granny.

I absolutely loved the final scene. Them conforting each other- Ishita finally finding solace in Raman's arms touched me. I have no words👏.

As for Shagun- I wanted to wipe that abhorrent smirk off her face- I hope that happens soon. And looking at Ruhi's concern for her Ishima today- and the segments- Shagun will never make a place in ruhi's heart. Ishita has always taught her to respect Shagun- I think that is going to turn into intense dislike after what Shagun is going to do very soon. And Wherever Ruhi is- She will always be Raman and Ishita's daughter, irrespective of the DNA she has.

These kind of episode make it difficult for me to give up on this show- Inspite of the OTT drama and illogical tracks they have come up with for TRPs.

P.S- They have made a complete mockery of the Indian legal system😡. Like seriously, Is that judge for real???? Does he not have the sense to check past records denying Shagun custody. Can Raman not tell him it was a fraud??? *phew* I will just wait for it to telecast and then vent. hopefully they have a logical way to take this from here on. #Tiny Hopes
