Gan, I do love your collage bc it highlights the powerful acting of KP as a distressed, grief, and panic-stricken Raman.
No matter how bloody stupid a track is, YHM has such powerful actors. It will be a sad day when all that carries this show is the acting because so far no matter how much the storyline falters it generally runs true to the core (even if it's by a single thread).
Bc this week's episodes have been emotionally draining & as a result I don't feel like ranting...I will bring out a few positives I see based off this week...
- This track is displaying the wonderful acting potential of the cast
- This track so far has proved that Ishita is a flawed female lead and while I don't agree with her actions at all, I can empathize. If I just look at this from Ishita's POV, the feeling of hopelessness can truly drive a person to the brink of rationality. Her mind is focused on one thing - keeping Ruhi with her. She cannot bear to have her jaan ripped away from her, because if Ruhi goes...who is Ishita? Like everyone said, Ishita has all the relationships now bc she first became Ishima to a motherless little girl...what will happen if that girl is forcibly taken away?
- This track shows yet another part of Raman's past - abandonment. No Ishita is not at all like Shagun in her actions. But if I just look at Raman's POV...his wife and child as missing with no note of what's happening. He can rationalize the motivation of the actions, but he does not know what her plans her...he doesn't know if she'll come back from wherever. All he sees is that he made a giant mistake and failed as a husband/father/protector again, leading to this squence of events.
- With the OLV & Precap, I don't see a confrontation/conversation between Ishita & Raman just yet. Why? Because then the track will be over, and this appears to be a track planned out way way long ago. This is an important track and they can explore a lot of depth, so long as the CVs buck up and give us a conclusion that addresses the turmoil of Ishita & Raman...it will be a powerful track.
- I may completely regret saying this, but I think even with all of Shagun's nosiness...this track will still be focused on Ishita-Raman-Ruhi. Just some of the dialogs and stuff indicate that & they different players that are being added slowly also point that way.
Okay...just one of many complaints...I want them to give more of a role to the supporting cast...just giving sad faces and supportive dialogs does not make use of their talent & is a disservice to them and the audience!
Welp...that's about all the positivity I can muster at the moment...
