My picture was of Ishra taking the pheres so not much of the story has been deviated from the original version it was aired but this story tells about the feelings of each other when they were doing the pheres.
Sacred Vows
Ishita was excited for her marriage day as she was going to be a mother to Ruhi officially by marrying her father Raman Kumar Bhalla whom she hated to the core through misunderstanding between them but she was willing to pay the price for the love of Ruhi as she is a mother to Ruhi in every sense from the day she laid eyes on Ruhi for the first time saving her from accident.
Raman was not that excited about his marriage as it was a business deal for him to get Ruhi's happiness. He is going to marry a person whom he hates to the core through misunderstanding between them but is going to marry her willing as his daughter loves her unconditionally and Ruhi happiness lies with Ishita which matters to him the most.
Ishita is getting dressed in traditional red kanchivaram sari with golden bangles, necklaces, nethichutti( head ornaments) amma comes to see whether she got ready and is mesmerized by her beauty and divinity she puts a black mark to ward off evil eyes and ask vandu to get her to the mandapam.
Raman with the help of Bala gets dressed in tamilian traditional clothes veshti, shirt and angavastharam. He looks elegant but his family laughs at him seeing he is unable to walk properly in those clothes Bala takes him to the mandapam.
Shagun comes to Ishita house and tells the half-truth about Aditya that Raman has one more kid and that he was abusive with him so the court awarded the sole custody of him to her. Ishita takes Shagun to the mandampan and says to everyone she cannot marry a monster as he beats little kids. Shagun is satisfied with her victory and leaves Ruhi to pacify Ishita. Ishita takes Ruhi and moves towards the room.
Toshjii shouts at Shagun and asks her to leave. Raman says he doesn't want to think about the day where Shagun made Adi lie in court to satisfy her personal need. Neil asks Raman to talk to Ishita once but Raman refuses saying that she believed Shagun why will she marry me? Ishita comes there and says she will marry him and asks forgiveness from everyone as she says Shagun has comes with full plans to stop their marriage and she did what she thought best at that time. She says this marriage is happening for Ruhi only so she is ready for her marriage. Everyone is happy that she agrees and moves to the mandapam.
Ishita and Raman are left alone Raman says to her that I know you believed Shagun but truth is different she says I did not ask for any clarification I won't let you be like that to Ruhi she is my daughter here onward.
Ruhi from Shagun daughter becomes Ishita daughter for Raman that day even though he never acknowledges it for some more time during their life. Raman and Ishita have an eye lock through that they convey to each other they are doing this only for Ruhi both have accepted the fact and move towards the mandapam to bind themselves to each other for eternity.
They perform all the pre rituals to marriage then appa does the kanayadhanam(Girls family breaking ties with her so that she can form new ties with her family in new house) of Ishita in Raman hands. Once that ritual is done Raman's heart vowed to protect and cherish her throughout her life as she came into his life breaking her ties with her family.
When Raman ties the mangalsutra in the first knot both their hearts make a commitment to each other for eternity. In the second knot both their hearts accept each other family as their family. In the third knot which Simmi ties to Ishita reciprocates that the groom's side of the family will take care of the Ishita as the daughter of their house.
Then they do the sath pheres each one of them has unique significance.
The first step (Prayer)
They pray to the almighty to provide them with food and nourishment so that they can live their live with honor for one another.
The second step (Strength)
They pledge to grow as one in mental, physical and spiritual strength so that they can enjoy life.
The third step (Prosperity)
They promise to each other to share all their joys and sorrows together.
The fourth step (Family)
They promise to take care of the elders in the family and together they pledge to strength and maintain the family relationship.
The fifth step (Progeny)
They promise to be responsible parents and provide their children with fine education and fundamental values of life.
The sixth step (Health)
They promise to take care of each other.
The seventh step (Love, trust and friendship)
They promise to be faithful companion, trust each other, and live a life of friendship and love.
The finish taking the pheres and get the blessing from the elders and they are officially husband and wife now.
Their minds have made the clause of sirf Ruhi ke liye in this marriage contract but unknowingly to each of them these rituals have a magic of their own their hearts have taken all the vows they did together as a sacred promise to each other and they stand by their promise to each other in this marriage.
The heart treats this as a regular marriage even though in their mind it is only a contract.
During their life as married couple each one had a chance to prove to the other that they did stand by their vows they made on their marriage day.
The first one prayer after living with each other for some time slowly their misunderstanding between them got cleared now Ishita knows that Raman loves his daughter but does not know how to show it and Raman comes to know that Ishita is not a gold digger she is the most selfless person. The first prayer that Raman needs a good wife and Ishita needs a good husband has been answered.
The second one strength they became each other strength during amma accident. Raman became Ishita strength when she was devastated after amma accident and Ishita became Raman strength when he was devastated after coming to know that Adi was the cause of amma accident and was not repenting for his mistake so he was planning to punish through court so that Adi follows a proper path.
The third one prosperity Raman sacrificed his president ship to bring back Ishita license and Ishita sacrificed her honesty and resorted to trickery to get back Raman president ship.
The fourth one family Ishita took care of Simmi when she needed help and Raman took care of amma when Iyers needed help.
The fifth one progeny they take care of Ruhi and Adi very well
The sixth one health Ishita always worries about Raman backache and has medicine readily available to alleviate his ache. Raman takes care of Ishita by making sure she eats in every few hours so that her health is not spoiled.
The seventh one love, trust and friendship in the past year they have fulfilled all their six vows to each other now they are in their relationship where they have a friendship and love but the trust factor is still missing from their relationship.
Raman and Ishita are slowing opening to each other to see their wounds which hurt them. Ishita during their anniversary opened up to him how she feels when everyone called her baanch. Raman consoles her saying she is the best mother of their kids.
Shagun plays a cruel game in which Raman accidentally signs of Ruhi custody to her. Ishita does not trust anyone takes Ruhi and goes into hiding. Raman gets a call from the police station for him to identify the dead bodies. Raman is already guilt ridden with worry and when the call came he becomes devastated he rushes to the morgue to see the bodies he is relived that it is not them but at the same time feels for another father and husband who is not as lucky as he is. He walks out of the morgue. When he reaches home his father pacifies him and makes him sleep for some time.
Raman is restless and could not sleep so he comes down when he hears papajii friend telling him that he saw Ishita and Ruhi in Ashok Khanna house. Raman is relieved to hear that they are okay. He rushes to Mihika house to get them but when he reaches there he came to know Shagun came first and again Ishita eloped with Ruhi.
Raman is wondering where to search for them now when Ruhi calls him asking him to come to hotel as her Ishima is very sick. Raman rushes there he takes Ruhi in a bone crushing hug letting go of all the fears he was facing from the morning. He then rushes to see Ishita she is in an unconscious state he takes them back home.

Raman is taking care of Ishita when she wakes up she realizes that she is in her own home. Ishita asks him why he brought her home as it is not a safe place for Ruhi and tries to get up go to Ruhi. Raman loses his patience and tells her that she cannot walk as she has fractured her legs.
Ishita accuses Raman of signing the contract without reading and now her daughter has to go through separation from her because of him. Raman says to her it was a mistake but I am sorry about it and I will try to rectify it as soon as possible so that our daughter is back with us.
Ishita is still angry with Raman. He was controlling his emotions as he knew the state she is in is because of his mistake but he could not take her anger anymore because right at the moment he wanted her to be in his arms so that he could feel she is safe finally.
Raman then tells to her slowly I know what I did was a mistake do you think what you did afterwards was correct. He tells her about the phone call he received from the police station for him to come to identify the bodies and how scared he was thinking his mistake could have ended both their lives.
Ishita could clearly see now that her action has affected him tremendously she apologizes to him and says to him it was not her intention to hurt him but she says to him that she had a dream of Shagun coming and snatching away Ruhi from her she could not bear to see that so she did not think properly the only thought on her mind at that time was to save Ruhi so I ran away with her I am really sorry.
Ishita says to him we have come very far in our relationship from sirf Ruhi ki liye but we still have not learned to trust each other. Every relationship has to have trust. Raman says to her from now on we have to promise each other no matter how silly or how important we both have to discuss all issues regarding our lives both of them make Ruhi promise to that agreement.
Then Raman tells her about how he started working for Ashok Ishita does not like it but she understands that for Raman who always provided support to his family he needs to be working she says she will agree to it as long as he can come out of the financial crush then he has to leave the job Raman also agrees to this condition.
They both hug each other Raman at last feels peace as his JRK is safe in his hands now Ishita falls asleep on his shoulders he gently puts her back in bed she takes his arms in her and sleeps peacefully.

Raman and Ishita have taken the final step in their marriage vows of trusting each and once again the magic of the rituals starts working now nobody could separate this family.
