@V- I seriously hope coming back into Bhalla house is not one of her demands. it occurred to me too when she said they would be going back home soon. After such an exit from the Bhalla house- what would they achieve by getting her back in? Or does this mean that they butchered Puttar's character completely just so that they can get their favorite character back into Bhalla house - leading to even more screen space to her. I seriously hope not. I have enough of an ex-wife staying in her ex-husband's house when the current wife is there. It is simply unreal. To think that they made Raman go for an out of court settlement when clearly he would have won easily through the proper channels- through a proper custody case.

@Suu, I think in her delusional thinking, Shaggy believes if she gets Ruhi's custody, Ishita has no reason to continue staying married to Raman. After al. They married for Ruhi, with her out of the picture, they will divorce. Hence, her thinking that she will return home.

I am actually appalled n horrified at the way the children are being used as pawns in this game of one upmanship !

You know I was chatting with Doc... And I was telling her that today if the actor had delivered right, Shagun's plight could have been properly highlighted.. But it failed as the OTT acting took over the scene and the implication of the scene got lost. Think about it .. This is a woman who thought so highly of herself only a year back .. she had scoffed at Raman about how he's not over her, and he's got himself a compromise behenji wife who's kinda ayah to her daughter and could never compete with someone like her... And how she had complete control over Adi to the point that Adi twisted Raman's arms and got Ishita to apologize to both him and Shagun. And today not only Raman has kicked her out of his house, is head over heels in love with Ishita, planning to file for Adi's custody and Adi also is showing signs of getting close to the Bhallas and Ishita... Everything Shagun held dear to her has slipped or slipping through her hands... So it was a momentuous day for Shagun .. as she's narcissistic enough to not overlook the amount of Rs 4lakhs / month for her lifestyle yet she was not ready to let go of one person who till now she had absolute control over , Adi...

And her hatred for Raman for putting her there, one can only imagine... This could have been the day to prove AH 's mettle as an actor .. But her overly animated expressions, combined with some psychotic set up.. Turned the scene into a joke.

The reason why would Shagun go for Ruhi though she frankly doesn't care as much for her as she does for Adi... Was to be the highligt today...but instead we got distracted by some maniacal OTT scene of screeching, teeth grinding, and rocking chair... Subtlety replaced by everything melodrama.

Hard to believe the same team produced Raman, Ruhi scene scene in the same episode . My respect for little Ruhanika went few notches up.

Sorry for the rant... but today Anita H truly failed Shagun as an actor

Exactly what I was thinking. It is really hard to understand. For a breif moment I though Shagun genuinely was afraid of loosing her son but then she goes and makes up contract that switches one child of another.

I maybe the few people who probably think this way but I was never impressed with Anita H as Shagun. I think she really cant pull of a vampish role. The past couple of months the whole show has been revolving around her character. She has had enough chances to show her talent but each time she has failed to deliver. Thats why its so hard to understand Shagun's pov or even take her scenes seriously because she over does most of her scenes. It just end up laughing in serious scenes.

I have to actually say both child artists Ruhanika and Gautam have improved so much since they both started on this show. RD acts better than some of the adult actors. This child is going to be a bigger star than she is now when she gets older.

@Coco gautam has improved as an actor so much ! I guess he's a really sweet boy and at his age probably it was really difficult for him to relate to the extreme negative layers that Adi's character had .. So since the change in Adi he has been spot on with expressions ... Maybe his exposure to better actors also helped him improve on his expressions .. I remember last year one of the offscreen videos of both Karan and Divyanka helping Ruhanika learn her lines... Probably the other actors have helped Gautam improve.
Ruhanika has been spot on from day one for me.. I have never seen her falter in any scene.. It's amazing at her tender age she emotes that well

I don't think its a game as far as Raman is concerned.. For him it's his opportunity ( though one wonders why wouldn't he file for custody .. Chances of him winning are so high.. But I guess that wouldn't be dramatic enough for the creatives 🤢) to get his son back at the right place, in the folds of his family .. Under Ishita's care

Yeah for Shagun it's all about winning.. And we know people and relationships are expendable in any scheme to 'benefit thyself'

The game is being played by Shaggy not Raman. She wants him on his knees now. Since she is now thrown out in the cold n no benefactor in sight. Raman wants to get this custody angle over n done with as soon as possible hence the out of court settlement. If only Raman had had a word with Ishita things could have been handled in a better way, but then there would not have been melodrama and how could they give more screen space to their favourite one !

Hello ladies! I haven't been able to catch the last few episodes but have gotten a general idea of what's happening-thanks to Gan and you guys:)

May I say I haven't missed much:)
However I am with you with the frustration over the GKC crap, how far they are pushing it and what exactly they are aiming for.

So this what I think:
I don't see them addressing the GKC issue anytime soon. It is clear they are jumping into the Adi custody case full speed. This drama will fetch them TRPs.

I saw posts where Star Plus has been advocating the importance of girl child,
but showing regressive stuff on YHM. Very valid point, but I don't think it means anything-these channels trend whatever is in-whether they believe in it or not. Because of the controversy of India's daughter, SP probably took that stand. Doesn't mean they won't show/drag exactly the opposite on their shows!

All during Holi, all actors, maybe even channels advocate having a water free holi-& from OLVs we know there is a lot of water being used!!!

Khair chodo... am just pissed at all the double standards and hypocrisy at every point in India(yeah I just watched India's Daughter and it riled me up to no limit!)

Coming to Shagun-anigans(epic description Gan:)-like you said, had it been any other actress, I would have been excited for the custody track.
Now the only hope is they don't butcher Raman further & keep IshRaRu relationship intact!

Like many of u here i also feel anita lacks the ability to pull of vampish role she may do well in positive role but certainly not an out and out negative character!! But if u look from an actor's perspective shagun's role has to many shades which if portrayed well can be convincing for the audience. AH's acting inability has made it worse for fans like us to relate to shagun's pov!! Most of the times when her scene comes i am like y?? Rather than oh my god?? I mean i do not feel the fear which ond should feel about her vampish intentions!! It may have to do with the writing as well as they are writing such melodramatic lines for her which come across as unwanted!!

Gautam has improved a lot!! Ruhanika was nice since begining and even if she faltered it can be understood as she was just 5 years old and they cant talk the way elders talk they are supposed to jumble up so it's realistic!! Though i dnt think she has faltered in any of the scenes!! The company of good actors has certainly helped both the kids and they ate lucky that they are getting such exposure in this age they will go places when they grow up if they continue with their acting!! I had seen one olv where ruhanika was not listening to something about the scene and DT was asking her to listen properly and telling her good actors are good listeners and if ru wants to become a good actor she should listen fisrt!!

@anu thank you so much .. Scenes like these are the reason why I can sit through all melodrama and crapfest ..
They just brighten up my day .. And it's after ages we saw such a decent Papa-Ruhi scene
