Akir hope is all we have! 😉

I agree but for the CVs...Raman is the bali ka bakra to progress the plot at the moment...he's in character in terms of a short temper and being driven by emotions...but then he's not when he lets people yell at his wife in public.

Again - like I mentioned in my post...if Ishita actually made a mistake, I would've been a little more empathetic to the distance between Raman and Ishita right now, but she didn't and he is...

Hence the inbalace & inability to connect

I know this is off topic but I just watched 16 minutes of India's Daughter and I have never been so f**king angry in my life. Those f**kwit lawyers and their descriptions of what an Indian woman can and can't do. They are supposed to be educated. What is their f**king excuse?
Sorry for my rant, but am absolutely disgusted.

@Krishy, if there had been a slow build up of his douchiness I would have found it kind of palatable.. this is such a sudden turn in his behaviour. They seem to sacrifice the leads and their character sketch for every new entry. For mani it was complete butchering of Ishita. For Shagun, again Ishita. Now Raman for subbu entry. I presume that is the reason they are showing Raman to be such a douche bag !

Oh I agree...actually with Shagun's entry...they messed a little with both Ishita and Raman (remember his outburst when she left home?...I would've gotten the yelling, but the "Ishima" taunting? #overboard).

For me personally, Ishita was in character throughout a majority of the Shagun track (minus the Mahila Morcha) because she does go out of the way for others. Somethings were exaggerated for Ishita, but it wasn't as bad as some of the scenes we got in the Mani track!

Hahahahahhahahaha. THAT shot. Perfect.

But on a serious note, I did not like the epiaode At All.

i did not like what raman said about adi. What is the use of character development then? Sab tel lene chala jata hai.

He is willing to go to ANY length to get his son back...that price includes ruhi? Sheh.

What crap are cvs showing? and ONE jhagda affected raman so much that he is going to go to severe lengths to get his son?

Had i had any faith in cvs left i would have said aditya will this time take his dad's side and leave his evil mother forever but then i dont trust them.

Someone should congratulate them on successfully spoiling the show with forceful twists and turns that dont make sense at all.

This ruhi custody is tooo overdone. guess their creativity has left the creatives. there can be no other explanation for choosing/introducing such sad tracks.

I did not understand why raman was being so PMS-y when ishita normally talked to him. jhagde hote rehte hain..this raman i couldnt relate to. He is not someone to give badhaava to such frivolous fights.

I dont know man... I am done expecting from cvs. I will just read WUs till things get better and Cvs stop giving us random..illogical ishra romance just to pacify us.

I watched the episode & promptly forgot most of it. Says a lot about the show.

A few points though:

- Glad it wasn't Ishita accompanying Romi when he was made to apologize. She probably would've been blamed for his humiliation too.

- I genuinely thought Romi was interested in the baby. Looks like all he wants is to prove he had working swimmers once upon a time.

- Sarika ...way to go girl. She is better off than a partner like Romi.

On a sidenote, if they give a drunk Ishra consummation scene, this show would be dead for most of the original audience (not that there's much left). Am hoping CV's aren't that stupid.

I can see that. It also seems like all this GKC pushing is going to end up with a reinforcement of the lessons taught by the#Girl Child track. And that's all fine -we all want to see a unique C&C befitting ISHRA and for them to shed all the weights of the past and find the happy medium between being there for the families and being their for each other as well as emphasizing the importance of daughters. I look forward to all that. I just hate the path that they are taking. The destruction of characters we love, the omnipresence of a vamp that's getting more cartoonish buy the day, a time line that seems to speed and slow at the times it shouldn't etc. There is better, cleaner, less demeaning way to go about it, i just wish that the CVs respected their audience enough to take that route. And that this track hops on the bullet train express that the Rinki marriage track took.

I made a comment about this in yesterday's thread...

I was ABSOLUTELY appalled at the excerpts from India's Daughter. I just think it's horrifying that a girl does not feel safe in her own town. I am very proud of my Indian heritage but this is one area of our society that makes me cringe.

Related to this show...what is making it most frustrating right now is that they are ODing on regressive thought with the eventual intention to "make it better" with a speech or so from one of the leads. I wouldn't be so disgusted if they toned it down (and gave us an indication of when it will end), but instead they are making it unbearable.

That status of women in India is already murky. And media is an absolutely powerful tool of social change. So I firmly believe everyone has a duty to promote social progression through positive means.

So pertaining to YHM, yes they need (and should include) drama in shows but not to this extent. Make a positive point and make it soon.
