I'm understanding your question... If such a rishtha surpasses Toshi n comes to him, he won't reject on this basis for sure. If he likes the girl, he'll follow his heart for sure... One instance i can give for this is from our show... He was ready to accept Shagun n take her back even when she left him... He pleaded before Ashok... Even when he got to know that she's having a EMA with Ashok. For this man, flesh doesn't matter...
Human beings tend to behave differently when a issue strikes him and they have a different approach when a difficulty approaches their family. Based on one decision, we can't judge the other one yaar... He's a nice man and his situation is making him behave differently...
U know what...I feel RKB is basically a very EMOTIONALLY weak person. When he is surrounded by troubles and pain of others he falters a lot ...and forgets what is right and wrong.Where as Ishita we see a very stable person...doesn't loose cool when surrounded by troubles.

U r not getting it...I'm asking suppose he was not in love and a normal rishta came to him..that's of Ishita and he also comes to know that she is infertile. Then what...will he still accept the rishta?
And what u told ...I agree...he is in love with her...and he will not leave him at any cost.

He is not a person who will reject a lady for this medical issue yaar... He values love more than anything yaar... Raman could have married another girl too na, leaving Ruhi aside... Its not about procreating Ishani. This man can do anything for the person whom he loves...

In a arranged marriage, this question doesn't arise... Toshi will never choose a bahu like Ishita

Ishani...I liked her take a lot... Let me come back to her question...
That's the reason ..I told to have a look.ASnd it made me think among all the posts.
Raman is shown in the precap explaining to Ishita about why the need of the hour is to find sareeka 'cos of Romi's condition. Does that mean that Raman too thinks that a certain value is attached to a man or woman's ability to procreate? Does he really understand and accept Ishita's condition? Would he have married Ishita with her medical condition if he was also a childless divorcee?
Its a hypothetical question in this situation. So, i am ready to face contradictions too... However, my answer for this question will be
Had Raman fallen in love with Ishu or had this complication entered after their marriage (see it as a normal marriage), he would have definitely accepted Ishita like that... He would have stood against his mother... RKB has that guts in him...
I agree ..but if this situation arrived before he fell in love or there has been a talk about Ishita's rishta to Raman(I'm talking of, if they were not married)...then also would he accept the rishta...And Toshi been shown that crazy for GKC..then what?
Here, the situation is different. He has one ailing mother, depressed brother and a biter divorce which is following him everywhere. In this situation, this man is becoming selfish yaar... As i quoted earlier, had he tried to convince Ishita to go for therapy, i would have called him a sadist... He's happy with her decision even when he knows that she has an option and in some corner of his heart, he wants it too... Its about his little bro not about him yaar...
I know he is not thinking of himself...but he is being selfish for his bro and mother...and in process is also demeaning one's self respect. And I can't take that...playing with self-respect of woman...for whatever reason it be... Edited by divine_16 - 10 years ago
