THATS EXACTLY IT

Its just MO I think the West has influenced us in all the wrong ways... (right for many people), u know, "Did he pop the question yet?"
"Did he say ILU" "Saying ILU IS EVERYTHING". OK he did... What changes suddenly? Are u guaranteed pension when u retire? Is your house suddenly paid off?

why are divorces SO common then, since the guy swore ILU shouldnt it be for 10 janam? Why divorce? I JUST DONT GET THAT. I ask why, I am told "Oh! we fell OUT of love"

AREY! YEH KYA BAAT HUI? To phir itna mar kyon rahe the ki ILU nahi bola?šŸ˜†

I am not saying men that dont say ILU dont cheat, but the ones that declare it from rooftops do it more (atleast based on the country I live in)

The reason people, are so hung up about ILU is because I guess it's the most convenient thing to say. People don't really care to process how they actually feel about each other...the little things that matter In a Relationship. they get pressured by what is expected of them and influenced by all that goes around us in the name of love they feel they need to say it. I don't think saying I love you is such a bad thing but I can't stand the Valentine's Day red roses type of silliness that comes with it.

When you care for a person you love them
When you do things for them you love them
When you have this deep desire to be with them you love them
When you do things for their family you love them...

So in that context saying ILU isn't bad but not because it is expected of you.
It is an emotion to feel not harp.

Well This is my two bits on love.

SR...So rightly said!! Thats what has attracted me to this tale like many others here...I am a real person..this tale is real..I dont fully understand the hoax an emotion creates on TV and we hyperventilate about it...Its a matter of each one's take...Some want OTT, some want real..
I am glad I am among those who want REAL 😃

Guys long long back I had read a TOI middle (a column in the middle of the Middle page sent by readers) which left a strong impact on me.It was written by an Indian girl recently married . It was about an incident at the airport while she n hubby were waiting for a delayed flight on the way to their honeymoon.
There she meets a European traveller who is fascinated with the girls Mehndi n Chooda and both start talking. The foreigner. Is surprised to know that the girl has had an arranged marriage and shocked how she can live with a stranger she recounts her own experience where she dated her husband for a few yrs n then married him. The Girl asks about her husband and the lady admits that they are now divorced. In the mean time the newly wedded groom comes with a glass of milk for his bride cos he remembered his mother in law saying that she only drinks milk n nothing else. He has taken the effort to search for milk at the airport n got it for his bride. The European lady is very touched with this gesture n admits that maybe there is something going for arranged marriages.

Just goes to show that ILU is an overrated phrase

Think of ONE thing
A guy like him could have ANYONE, he could have a virgin a night, multiple a night, orgies in fact WHY did he want to get MARRIED to Ishita Iyer?

Shouldnt that be profound in itself? I mean fictionally? (I still maintain that a guy like that in real life who lives in Malcha Marg is probably going to be too stoned to know day from night)

SHE believes he is marrying her for lust, THATS why she doesnt want to take his money, doesnt want him to offer to spend on anything, doesnt want any expensive gifts, because she fears since its only for lust taking his money makes her a kept woman

Does she have no self respect, should we do a dharna outside Jantar Mantar? No! She LOVES him.
