EVENT HORIZON / Chapter 4A hiccup from her side made him look at her, tears are pooling down from her eyes.
"Why're you crying now? Just because you're crying and I'm not doing that doesn't mean I'm not feeling to do that" he seriously replied but the very next moment headed towards her and side hugged her--
"Why're you crying now? you're the one who asked me to leave you,"
"I never asked you to engage with Shagun" she said wiping her tears trying to move away from him but his hold on her shoulder tightened. She know there is no point in asking this or blaming him for leaving or any other thing but she doesn't know what made her talk something that she didn't want to talk.
"How is it matter with you, If I marry some other one, you told me you'll join in some job and marry some Tamilian chosen by your parents and will settle in your life, then why not I" he asked but she wasn't answering him because she doesn't have any answer for that.

That was the day of convocation , officially the last day: If Raman expected her to talk, at least at that moment; he got nothing but her ignorance again--
Her attention and her ignorance both are too intense;He very well know that: if she decided to do something, then she would be steadfast to her decisions.
Late in the evening, there was a small party among their friends batch as almost all of them are leaving to their home towns, after that night. Raman was seeing everyone in the party, except her. He left the party in the middle and went to her room.

He sat on the bed beside her , who was painting something on a paper.
"I'm leaving tomorrow" He said grabbing the paper and brushes in her hands and keeping them aside.
"Happy journey" she finally spoke breaking the silence of almost six months, which made him look at her unbelievable.
"Of all girls in this world, I'm in love with this stubborn,immature and crazy girl"
"Yes, I'm immature, I should have think about my future, I should have asked you about your future plans but I never did,"
"Then we can discuss now, there was a second phase of admissions announced in Harvard, you can apply too, and I know my parents will agree about us: If we make them understand"
"Why are you saying about you and your parents, again and again"-- "I too have my own life, I don't want to do PHD, I want to take up some job, my parents want me to
marry some Tamilian as like as your parents want to you to marry some Punjabi girl,"
"Then we can handle these things too,"
"I can't handle, this is complicated, Lets forget everything"
"Forgetting ? Is this that easy to you"
"Not easy to me, but I don't think its hard either"
"You're selfish, how can you do this to me,-- to you, and to us?"
"I'm selfish but you're not right? then leave me, for me; because whatever the thing between us is hurting me a lot, I'm not feeling this as love, and if this is love I don't want to love" she said turning away.
The more he was trying to mend, the more she was on the verge of breaking it, and the whole thing was something that tested his patience, and at some point he even felt that she will be happy without him. And he felt to do whatever she asked him to do. And the next day, Raman left the campus, the city; but a sense of void left by her remained in his life..

"My engagement with Shagun was called off, few days back," he suddenly said, he didn't know why its important for him to let her know.
" I thought that I agreed to marry her, so that I can keep my family happy, but, It doesn't took much time to understand that I've agreed to marry her only because I'm angry with you; Shagun is a very close relative of my family and she is too good to be dragged into my messed up life"
Ishita was listening his words silently, looking at nothing in particular. "If the Dean haven't had tell me about you, today, I wouldn't have been talking with you now, I would have left, after this one weak,"
She suddenly looked up facing him. "Dean told me ,the names of the persons who were recorded as your parents in the Academic records are not your real parents, they're some of your relatives but you've requested him to hide it, you have been living in hostels your entire life, and your relatives are there for you just for the name sake,-- then why the hell you've to lie to me that you want to marry some one according to your parents?"
"That's because I want you to leave me I don't want you to make your family unhappy, and I don't know weather I can accept any family because I never lived with any one, I'm not sure weather I can live with you;I'm happy alone, whatever the thing between you and me might be just attraction... and the way you lied to your parents about me, I'm not feeling to trust any thing around me, whenever you're being close with me, It's hurting me because I'm feeling like every thing will end at some point or other, like my parents left me one day when I was ten,"
"Then why were you asking me that, why did I left you?"
"I don't know why I asked that, I didn't mean to ask you that."
Raman shook his head in dismay trying to digest her answer.
"What's the need to lie about your parents to everyone, and even to me"
"Because I don't want to be sympathized by others, I wanted to be strong,"
"Why are you thinking people will sympathize you, there are millions of people living without parents but they're strong enough to not to fake their identity, but you're not strong.. and Let me tell you one thing... I'll handle this thing..I'm not going to listen you any more, I'm going to do whatever I want but not everything you want.."
Raman looked into her tired and confused eyes before talking again," You've listened a lot, you're tired, relax for some time" he dragged her close to him and made her rest her face on his chest. "I've to make a phone call" he whispered against her hair before dialing a number.
"Everything is fine sir, but I need some one's assistance, and I think Ishita can do that well."
"What're you doing" she immediately looked up her voice was low and little panic.
"Nothing, I really need assistance for this lecture, and you really can do this well, above all I'm feeling a need to have you around me,"
"I can't do this"
"You don't need to do anything, just be you, that's enough, everything will be fine"-- "And, I'm going now, bye" he said before standing up and heading towards the door. She stood up too, and she felt herself following him, unknowingly.
She suddenly felt him turning around and hugging her, before she can react anything she felt his lips at the corner of her mouth giving a scorching sensation on her skin;
"If you're going to think, this is hurting you, I'm sorry, but I'm feeling an extreme need to feel you" he murmured, and when his lips finally captured hers, she felt her throat is tightening, a sudden heaviness in her heart, she kept her hands on his chest, trying to maintain some space and It's when she felt his one hand on her waist caressing slightly, and his another hand en wrapped her; She felt his lips: incessantly moving against hers and a moment later, when his tongue plunged into her mouth, she fisted his shirt and scrunched her eyes tight; her fingers are clenching and unclenching, mirroring his ministrations.
She doesn't know how exactly but somehow an unknown joy enveloped her senses, overshadowing that pain of her which was exuded from her insecurities; and Its when her hands en wrapped his neck. The cool breeze which was the aftermath of the rain was sweeping over their bodies, flickering a moment of tranquility in their senses; he didn't feel any movement of her lips, but he didn't feel any resistance either and that was enough for him now.
After some million more moments later he parted his lips from hers, and bored into her eyes, which were filled with an enormous amount of confusion."See you tomorrow" his voice was determined with a sign of certainty. And then he pressed his lips on her cheek lingering her skin; a second later, he mumbled I love you , which reverberated in her ears; She felt him moving away, leaving the place, just like that, not expecting any response from her --

A/N: I know this update is short and I'm late, My cousin's wedding preparations and my birthday celebrations kept me busy.. and I'm very happy cause I'm eighteen now.. this is really important for me, I'm not eighteen plus but I'm at least eighteen now... 😃
About this chapter I know how you're feeling about the characterizations but I want to confess:
Creating ideal characters and enlightening you is not my aim, this is just a story I'm telling. and the characters will react to the situations according to their personalities.. It may seemed quite abnormal but I've seen people like this in real life too..
Everything will be fine after this update, because I'm eighteen now.. I don't know why I said this.😆
