A/N:

Hola!.. I'm starting a new story... :)

Jeez.. ...I shouldn't start this: when I've some other one, which I'm not updating since forever. Am I've to be kept behind bars for this crime.. Yes I know, still I really want to tell this story, like really really.. Like how much a thief will be desperate to rob a bank :P (this comparison sucks!)

Well, anyway this is a very short story, I want to finish this as early as I can.

Plot summary/Title meaning : The boundary of the region from which no escape is possible.

Genre: Romance/Angst / Emotional / Intense/Alternate universe.

Story line and characterizations are completely different from the show.

The way I'm going to write this fiction is quite different, some of you might can feel this as boring. Don't blame me that I didn't warn you before.

Frequency of the updates depends on the interest you'll show; Of course, If you're not interested I'll not even continue this because I couldn't take the pain of typing, particularly at this moment of my life...

EVENT HORIZON / Chapter 1

Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad --

The gigantic and beautiful campus has its own aura of intelligence intervened with in every Red brick of the walls. It is one of the most popular Business school in India, which doesn't require any introduction for the management students and people related to business world; but for Raman, It is more than that; for him: it is the place, full of intimidating memories where there is no escape is possible but to drown into those memories, that is extremely suffocating yet incredibly beautiful;

Raman was walking along the corridor, for the first time, after four long years yet he hadn't forgot anything about this place, not even a teeny weeny bit of details; The corridors was quite even though many of the students are walking past by him; they all were too busy to give any damn about Raman Kumar Bhalla;.

He was recently appointed as the Chief economst at IMF, Washington DC. And this news hit the headlines of all most all the business magazines because he is the youngest person in the history, who held that position -- If Raman expected any attention from his surroundings here; he earned nothing except a few mentionable long stares from some of the students around him.

He looked his side-way to realize that he is walking past the library now; An uninvited memory tiptoed into his brain:

Years back: The very first day Raman came to this campus for admissions; his interview for admissions had went well, after that he felt to explore the campus once, He was walking through the campus: he is searching for nothing but he found something: It's library;

Raman excitedly entered into the library, after a few minutes he was in fiction section;
The smell of old books is quite fascinating, there were some old take shelves: holding innumerable books, they are like they will fall down at any instant, if one doesn't handle them properly.

He meticulously touched a book and about to hold it but it was pulled by some one form the other side of the shelve.The void left by the book gave him a view: A pair of almond shape eyes. He saw that she is pulling another book too, and It's when all the books of that row fell on the floor making some noise.She turned around quickly.

Raman saw the beautiful cascading long hair of her after that her face; even before he can properly notice; she hided her face behind a book, acting like she is reading and she escaped from there before looking here and there, fearing about the library authorities.Raman came to understand that she is also a fresher, since she isn't wearing any ID card.

Raman would have had forgot about her, If haven't had met her again after a month: The very first day of that academic year; In his own class room, she was seated beside him, He read the name plate attached to her seat, which shown her name as Ishita Iyer.

That's how it's started --

Raman was surprised to found, how a mere flash of her memory, gave a twinge of pleasure in him. Oh, no!.Not again. I forgot her. He thought.

Liar.You bloody frigging liar! he mentally scoffed himself for betraying his own heart. He never forgot her which is obviously impossible but he tried to not reminding about her, but seems like visiting this campus is going to change things altogether.

Few days back, when he got a call from the Dean of this campus, requesting to take a Guest lecture for a weak, he was in cross roads, weather to agree or not; but he couldn't say 'No' because of the respect that he has for the Dean, after all Raman is alumni of IIM.

Raman was kept walking; and then he halted, when he came to see a small and suave room: that was Dean's room. He was about to enter into the room, Its when he saw the Dean, who was coming out.

"Raman!?," -- "If you had told me that you're coming today, I would have received you officially" Dean's voice was reflecting anger which was veiled with affection.

"I don't think: I need any formalities here, Sir!"

"You don't need but your position needs, I don't want IIM to get a bad reputation of, that it hadn't received its guest properly"

"But, I'm an old student of this,"

"Well, enough now.. I know how busy you're still you came for me,..Lets go to the seminar hall; I'll introduce you to the students of this year, they're very intelligent, I really felt that they need you."

"Yeah! sure Sir!"

They were heading to seminar hall; "Raman, I'm very happy to see you after this long, you' re one of the most favorite student of mine, and of course Ishita also.. You know what? now she is working here as Assistant professor." Dean casually said, that casual talk of him is reserved for very few people, and one of those very few people is Raman.

Ishita, as Ass. Prof is not any new revelation for Raman, he already know about this from some of his old friends.. What he doesn't know is how things will be happened in this seven days..

Raman closed his eyes not wanting to see the surroundings and trying so hard to refrain form remembering her. He was walking briskly but blindly; Dean was saying something but his ears weren't getting anything; after a minute or two opened his eyes only to see her in front of his eyes. This time it's real. He buckled to the ground, at that very instant when his brain registered her image: She is She!.

And then he saw into those captivating eyes only to look away instantly, but the irrecoverable damage is already done: zillions of memories flooded into his brain, gazillion of emotions crossed his heart. Its not any exaggeration but just an understatement: if its stated that he is feeling like everything around him is just disappeared into thin air except her.

"I'm just talking about Ishita; and she is here!" Dean's voice, halted his trance.

Raman took a deep breath before looking at her again as he was left with no choice but to face her.

She is wearing a sea blue color saree. He used to see her in Kurtis and jeans, most of the times; Her hair is fastened, at the nape of her neck, clipped in a tight bun.He used to see her hair left open, all most all of the times. She is looking like a matured women yet those eyes still has that same innocence.

She is blinking her eyes very rapidly: like she used to do whenever she is in surprise.
She is wetting her lips, with her tongue:like she used to do whenever she is nervous.

He felt that: She is looking so different yet so similar

There may be a lot of changes in her outfits but her eyes, her gestures, her everything that he very familiar with are still the same.

Now he know: he couldn't run away from her. Not when those hazel eyes of her: still shown him as much as love, that they used to show once if not more. This is event horizon, for him, and, for her too.

"Raman is going to take a Guest Lecture for our final year students of Finance & management batch."

"Oh!" she faintly replied.That's what all she managed; The roll of papers in her hand was almost crushed, because of the pressure that she is applying. Poor papers really didn't do anything to deserve this from her.

"Sir, I'm dealing that batch, in fact I just took a lecture for them; I've an another batch to take up, I'm getting late to my class.I got to go now."

Ishita quickly said;a paragraph of matter just in a single line, and all the while, completely ignoring Raman; he hadn't surprised much about her ignorance; in fact he would have been surprised, If she hadn't ignored him : After all that's what she can do very well, ignoring; she even deserves a PHD in this ignoring thing

Ishita, foolishly thought, that she left him behind, by leaving that place;but she is oblivion of the obvious thing, that this departure is only momentary--
