Ayyoyo..Why do the CVs ALWAYS do this to us?? They showed us such flaming, scorching chemistry between the leads yesterday and going by accounts, the honeymoon SUITE had to be put to FULL USE...I dont care if the Bhallas aren't shown fine dining on Chinese food...but they COULD'VE shown us what happened after the Samdhins left IshRa alone...they could've shown us IshRra's throbbing silhouettes dancing against the backdrop of candlelit glow and some of the moonlight streaming in from the open window...They didnt show us ANYTHING ELSE..NO V-day dance...no pakda-pakdi...no kissi wissi...They just showed tired Bhallas coming back to the flat, dragging their feet behind them😭
The best part of today's episode was UNDENIABLY the bit where Ishita finds Adi sleeping on the couch in the Iyer house...and wakes him up to have Chinese food she's got packed for him... "Main use uthake andar bhi nai sula sakti hun...bahut bada bacha hai" she thinks to herself, watching him murmur "Mamma...aap aa gaye" in his slumber...The minute he lays sight on the packet he picks it up swiftly and runs to the dining table...takes out the boxes and without bothering to serve it on a plate...starts feasting on the noodles...Ishita watches him eat..no wait, GOBBLE...HUNGRILY...
I actually felt sad for him...I mean, alright, I feel like slapping him other times when he's using his school girlish mind to plotting and scheming...but during times like these, when he actually looked vulnerable and GRATEFUL to have a plate of food right before his eyes...it did make me kinda uncomfortable...Ishita asked him about Shagun... He told her she's sleeping in the room and was too tired to eat anything...Ishita's even got him dessert...'Accha Adi...jaldi khana khake naa...so jana...aur brush karke sona" she lovingly tells him...When she turned on her heel bidding him a good night, he called her from behind, reluctant yet grateful..."Ishita Aunty...thank you" Adi ACTUALLY smiled...like a GRATEFUL EARNEST smile which had NO signs of sneering or plotting or any of the other evils existing on earth
"You're always welcome" Ishita signed off on a happy note...
I may have criticized Ishita in the past for being too virtuous and being too kind with Adi...but it seems, all her composure and patience is finally paying off...in HOWEVER small a way...Well...I guess we all live in a world of 'tit for tat' and only know of how to give it back...anger, hurt, vengeance, suffering, whatever it is...It really takes a RARE SOUL to NOT give it back and absorb and take it in and process and wait and see the results of kindness and love...Ishita is a PURE soul who just cannot think or do wrong...and a true MOTHER in EVERY SENSE...She has a HUGE HEART generally...which gets BIGGER, when it comes to kids and their needs...The CVs have kept her character and the very essence of it intact...irrespective of HOW much we have rebuked her in the past...I dont think I can ever like or accept Ishita fully if she ever started becoming bitchy to Adi just coz he is her step-son...Good one CVs👏👏👏
While entering Bhalla flat, Ishita sees Shagun come back home, drunk and wasted, unsteady and dizzy at her feet...She understands that Adi was just trying to cover up for his Mom...With such a vamp standing over a 12 yr old's head, what else can the kid possibly do???
What a beautiful contrast between Ishita and Shagun: Here we had Ishita...who...despite it being HER anniversary got some Chinese food packed for Adi...on an impulse (maybe she thought he would like having something else for a change, she definitely did NOT know that the mother-son duo had planned to dine out as well)..and there we see his OWN MOTHER...casually strolling in, like she'd just gone for a walk in the park...unbothered her son ended up sleeping on the couch itself, hungry and exhausted, waiting for her Majesty to return...
"Arrey waah Adi beta, tumne khana order kar liya baahar se?" Shagun looked so CASUAL...like it was SUCH a wonderful thing worth gloating about, that she forgot about her child altogether and went for a stupid inauguration...Adi atleast had the sense to still ask her whether she'd eaten or not...she shamelessly asked him to finish his dinner and said she's too tired and will go off to sleep...No offense meant, but such women seriously dont deserve to be mothers...
Raman's busy with biz talk over the phone...seems happy and relaxed...Ishita's trying to catch his attention and get him to help Ruhi with her project work...Raman seemed to chew up the thing he said about "biwi dedhshaani hai" or something...couldn't get that properly...
"Jab biwi dedhshaani hoti hai toh bahut fayda hota hai..kyunki who bacchon ke sare kaam kar leti hai" Ruhi, who as usual is looking like a doll, with pigtails framing her round face perfectly... asked him to help her... Raman though, seems very busy and kaan pakadke Ruhi se sorry kehta hai... "Sorry beta...Papa aaj bahut busy hain...Agar Papa fail hog aye toh who bahut buri tarah fail ho jayenge" Ruhi seems like a very understanding, no-fuss, undemanding kid...she wishes him luck and takes Ishima in tow...to get help on her project...
Apparently, even Adi has a project to submit...he had informed her almost a week ago...but OF COURSE...Shagun...who cant have enuff of her kitty parties and clubbing and inaugural functions has forgotten all about it...'Offo Adi...tum hamesha LAST MINUTE hi kyun bolte ho?"The vamp seems to turn a deaf ear to him and assures him that she's asked some lady to help out with the project...Shagun is going to PAY someone else for getting her son's PROJECT DONE?? Wow... what is she going to do when he sits for the board exams?? Arrange a scribe with a computerised mind to write his answers for him??
The CVs are clearly inching towards Adi-Ishita bonding...or rather, Adi behaving cordially with Ishita...Which is why the contrast is stark and hits hard...when one sees Ishita helping Ruhi out with her project...I remember working on these projects back in school...science project, I guess...Seemed like it was Environmental Studies or something...dunno how Adi's project is going to pan out...but Ruhi's project did look CUTE...and very very colourful...Ruhi reminds Ishita that even the scrapbook has to be filled...for images, she needs Raman's help...
Of course...YHM runs a track record of ruining good things every two days...and so, when Ruhi went to ask Raman to help out with the images...she found him sleeping peacefully...happy and relaxed...figuring, he's tired and she shouldnt be waking him up...she tries to find the images on his laptop and a message box pops out which asks if the ppt is to be deleted...Poor Ruhi doesnt know how to handle the laptop and accidentally pressed 'Yes'...and gayee bhains paani mein...The presentation Raman had been working his ass off on, and which prolly was worth crores of investment, was deleted in a jiffy...
The morning of Raman's presentation is heralded with every member in the house trying to fix his breakfast, his lunchbox, yada yada ...Ishita's hurrying in the kitchen...she looked very pretty as usual...a red saree with a black choli blouse strewn with floral designs on the body...Bhalla ji informs Toshi ji that the 'Caneda wala rishta has arrived'...Toshi ji looks all energized and ready to impress her guests...
Both Ishita and Simmi suggest they should first ask Rinki once before going ahead with all this...Toshi ji sunne ke mood mein hi nai hai...
The chirpy morning turns out to be a sour one when Ruhi goes to show Raman her project..and informs him that she had to delete the files on the desktop to get a print out of the images she needed for her project...Raman, who just got asked by his staff to mail the presentation, is panic-stricken and ANGRY...Enraged, he YELLS at Ruhi...Ishita steps in to defend her...But Raman, who's thoroughly pissed by now, leaves huffily...
Ruhi looked soo cute when she looked taken aback and on the verge of tears...and I wanted to hug her so badly.. "Sorry Ishima...mujhe pata nai tha" she apologizes... "Mai jaanti hun Ruhi...agli baar aap please papa se pooch ke laptop use karna theek hai? Ishita consoles her, in cute kiddo tones...I dont think just about ANYBODY can calm a child like that...Ishita has that AURA over her...that placid, unhurried, calm soothing aura...that you instantly warm up to it
"Papa mujhse baat nai karenge?" Ruhi is scared, and so are we...
"Nai beta...papa bas abhi thode se gussa hain naa...sham ko aayenge toh theek ho jayenge"
"Aur nai huey toh?" This possibility is LURKING stark naked in our face btw
Toh aapka project hai naa, aap issmein 1st prize leke aana toh who khush ho jayenge" Yeah...wen Raman loses out on a tender worth crores, I dnt think Ruhi's ' 1st PRIZE IN SCIENCE PROJECT' would help
In the meanwhile, Raman's panicking...he has asked his staff to work on the file recovery...Ironically, the MD calls in the middle of all this chaos and says he's expecting some TOP NOTCH work from Raman's end...OBVIOUSLY Raman doesnt have the gall to tell him the truth...I was wondering, WHY SO MUCH SHOW OVER THIS FILE DELETION? Since Ruhi prolly doesnt know how to operate a laptop, she would've just deleted the file TEMPORARILY and the same would still be in the Recycle Bin, right? So what's the deal with the file NOT being recovered? Or am I missing something here?
As per Toshi ji's request, Ishita broached the shaadi wala topic to Rinki...she seems disinterested...and wants Ishita to speak to Toshi ji to stall the impending proposal
Toshi ji seems to have heard all of it, standing in the corner... Rants about how women can get degrees even after marrying, and how such good proposals are rare to come by...I was bored...COZ THERE SEEMS NO SIGN WHATSOEVER OF RINKI EVEN HINTING SHE LIKES MIHIR...And am DAMN SURE she has a thing for Mihir...Why CANT they show some love building up between Ri-Mi??
Romi who was watching all this butted in "Agar who shaadi nai karna chahti toh mat karo na force...yeh theek nai hai"

Raman reached the venue at the last minute..he seems to be sweating and nervous...Ashok and Suraj are already there at the venue...Seeing them after AGES...They seemed to have completely vanished off the YHM frame altogether...Raman's eyes dart nervously around the conference hall...Guess the presentation isn't complete...or maybe it is and Raman just didn't have the time to go through it fully...or its in bits and pieces...While Im wondering which of these possibilities is true, Raman gets a call from his staff, informing him that file could not be recovered...Raman takes the MD to the side and tells him what happened...
"Kya jawaab dunga mein apne investors ko? Apne stockholders ko? How can you be so careless?" The MD is beyond himself by this time...coz everybody is waiting for their presentation to begin...Raman even requested for another day to do some damage control, but apparently, it was the last day of submitting tenders and there could be no further time extension...
MD called Raman unprofessional and careless and said he wouldn't tolerate such reckless behaviour henceforth...Guess, they lost out on the contract..This will DEFINITELY snowball into some impending SuShok drama...and in turn, it will prolly lead to Raman distancing himself from Ruhi...
Ishita marched in with Ruhi's science project in her hand...the hustle-bustle in the classroom...the excited kids looking eagerly around at each other...the different designs standing out like a miniatue city built of toy buildings lookd very cozy...all colours and paint galore...Ishita asks Ruhi about Adi, and why he's not seen around...Ishita finds him standing in the corner...Making faces...Looking nervous and perturbed and very, very upset...Shagun is all dressed up without a project in hand...Ira apparently could not complete the project for him
Wahan, Shagun, who thought she was the smartest thing to ever grace the earth and had appointed some lady' to get her project on the morning of the school presentation...came dressed up like a fashion queen, without the projec in hand...and was informed by Ira that the project could not be completed...Even if Ishita WANTED to help Adi out at this juncture, its not possible to whip up an ENTIRE PROJECT in barely half an hour!! So...what is she gonna do??
PRECAP - MD still seems furious...and tells Raman to take a break and that he'll hand over the project to somebody else who's more deserving...Does this mean Raman no longer needs to come to the workstation? Or he simply needs to take a backseat and have less important mundane stuff delegated to him? Either way, it spells TROUBLE for Raman...and his relationship with Ruhi...😔
