i hv to say today Gautam ws good surprisingly..!! its TOUGH for Raman to sacrifice his wishes on Adi...bt he dnt want to giv him false hopes either..so hw brilliantly he told the sheer truth of his life n adi's related to ishita n shagun..loved it...n one could see hw once again Adi felt his hopes of leadin a normal life is THRASHED n Gautam did convey tht well...if only Adi chose to see Raman's good side n Ishita too coz in this matter nyday Ishita is a good mother for Adi than shagun..!!

Good post leo!

So its like episode automatically becomes watchable if raman is given more screenspace than ishita😆😆

If ishita would not hv allowed shagun then raman kabhi nahi lata shagun ko... It got proved today😆ishita ne bahar nikala n raman didn't allow shagun again.. Adi ke liye bhi nahi😆

Sahi kaha Anu

Agar ishita nahi kehti

Toh Raman adi ko nahi lata

Waise ishita ne ye hi accept kiya tha

A little way down the road...

This was an episode of contrasts.Romi was sidelined by his family because he had overstepped his boundaries once too often. There was much noise, pain and many tears involved in his detachment.

Raman took a step back and saw what he had desperately tried to shield his eyes from in the name of fatherly love. His own son was a future Romi in the making. The foundation had already been set.In trying to reverse the irreversible, he was in danger of a broken home once again. He delineated boundaries even though it broke his heart. There was very little noise, and a lot more pain and silent tears involved in Adi's detachment.

This is the reason I keep coming back to YHM.The subtlety with which they handled broken relationships is commendable.Even though Romi and Adi are two sides of the same coin,self-centered and hedonistic, one felt a twinge of pity for both of them. The USP of YHM,greyness of characters, was back, even if it was for just one episode.

Aha

Very interesting point

You have brought out another different angle

Very nicely written

And you have sort of underlined the reason Raman decided to let go of adi

He thought adi was becoming another Romi

good post Leo...episode was very good...

Raman was in his element...the anger the pain...all throughout with Romi and later with Adi too...

Finally Ishita let Raman take the decision...since she knows now that Romi was mis-lead by Shagun n her Appa had to bear the brunt ...but she has sent the criminal to her own house...hope he doesnt pop a BP tablet into Appa's coffee...

Raman-Adi convo was much much needed...loved it, as Raman said what he could've said to his kid... I wish he had mentioned that leaving him was Shagun's decision...and not vice-versa...but i understand that would've been too much for a kid...so no complaints there...

Mr. Bhalla has one solution for every problem, outcast the person... post IshRa marriage he gave the same punishment to Raman...

loved Romi-Ruhi-Shravu scene...was very touching...and glad that Ishita sent Ruhi-Shravu there... agree with her...whatever issues are between the grown-ups...why involve kids in it

Toshi is rightly questioning her parvarish...wish Ishita had told her what she saw...afterall Toshi is in on the anti-Shagun brigade...but then when has Ishita shared these sort-off things with her family...she will try to do JJ on her own now...

So now that Adi, is out... sacrifice track is totally pakka...

edited :

with episode like these, change of director is so so welcome...

also loved the way Ishita went to console her husband...😛

Good post

Raman was in element

And when he deals with things

The matters get resolved

He dealt with Romi in his perfect way

His decision to let go of adi was also nicely done

We should be just happy

Mr bhalla got a substantial scene

RKB back!! So excited.

Once Adi was in the house, Raman had spoken to Ishita about how happy that made him and then later how he couldn't take losing him again. So even if he wouldn't have brought Shagun in himself (because really he couldn't have been the one to take that step in any situation, as he is now remarried), he did keep quiet. Once she brought them, Ishita couldn't have gotten rid of them, it would have been a bigger mistake for her to make based on what Raman has told her.

It was her fault for being Mahaan for sure. But it should have been Raman/Toshi who put their foot down, as they were the only ones that could, either at the outset or while they were living there. Which is now finally happening. So I think rather than thinking that he would have done this all along, my feeling is that he had to go through all of that to get here and have the convo with Adi.

Very well said

Ishita did wrong things

And Raman supported her

Now it was he who had to do course correction
