Ye chamatkar kaise hua! Ishita is behaving like a wife...!!!

A little way down the road...

This was an episode of contrasts.Romi was sidelined by his family because he had overstepped his boundaries once too often.There was much noise,pain and many tears involved in his detachment.

Raman took a step back and saw what he had desperately tried to shield his eyes from in the name of fatherly love.His own son was a future Romi in the making.The foundation had already been set.In trying to reverse the irreversible, he was in danger of a broken home once again.He delineated boundaries even though it broke his heart.There was very little noise,and a lot more pain and silent tears involved in Adi's detachment.

This is the reason I keep coming back to YHM.The subtlety with which they handled broken relationships is commendable.Even though Romi and Adi are two sides of the same coin,self-centered and hedonistic, one felt a twinge of pity for both of them.The USP of YHM,greyness of characters, was back,even if it was for just one episode.

I was first going to say I agree with you completely, and dont have anything else to add. But, on second thought, I do have something to add (the 'agree with you' part stays the same)

This episode could be called...Of Fathers & brothers.

In a 20 min slot, we got to see how all the Bhalla men interacted with each other. There was Raman-Romi... Mr Bhalla-Romi and even Raman- Aditya... These relationships have really not been explored on the show before (and even the Raman-Adi one is too superficially monotonous)

Also, it was almost as if the CVs decided that one day before the IshRa wedding anniversary, they will take care of all the bad apples in one episode. Romi's kaand exposed... Adi + SHagun out of Bhalla house ... These 2 things may very well pave the way for a quiet/calm/Shagun-free celebration of the wedding anniversary.

But of course, we also have the story of the new entry, the one about the new girl being Shagun's friend and all. So we all know something new is coming. But I think it is too early to say anything except that we should be prepared, given the history of new 'characters' on this show.

CVs dont know what to do with Toshiji ? They didnt make her outright vampish saas, they didnt make her a helpful/loving saas. I guess they wanted to set an example with this character of how a normal woman would sway in her emotions for her children/grand-children versus outsiders (even when they could be right). But in showing that, they make her swing like a see-saw that's suddenly been put on auto-pilot mode and cant stop. It isnt funny to look at.

Well today they explored the male side and male way of dealing with relationship

And they showed it perfect way as guys deal in detach way and this was that

I don't think anniversary will be quiet as we are not that blessed

But cvs had to show us Anniversary nonsense, Raman blaming Ishita for Adi's parenting n Lohri debacle to add Spice in the non existent drama. (Actually Adi n Shagun must stay at Mihir's place - Iyers r not at all related to them.)

Actually Raman should have done this "talk" with Adi right after he took medicine. Adi taking medicine overdose is a huge thibg n it might have been fatal too, Raman should have tried to understand y Adi is doing all this instead of just coddling him n agreeing to all his wishes. Raman let that incident pass n now we r not sure if Adi might again resort to similar tricks to again draw attention of Raman? 😕 Its important I feel Raman to be like a friend n father with Adi all the time. Clearly Adi hates Ishita so Raman cannot expect Ishita to take care of Adi or teach him values - this job Raman only will have to do.

Romi case - I can understand Raman's frustration but I dont want Bhallas to let go of Romi only with one severe beating. I wud like to see Romi being reprimanded properly for his crimes.

Sudden Change in Ishita who is acting like a wife is to be appreciated n I thank CVs for it. Ishita was always there for Raman in previous tracks but she was not shown with Raman. Somewhere she was portrayed more as a Bahu than a wife, now she is shown to be the emotional anchor of Raman. So basically CVs wanted to show us that Ishita was first a mother then a Bahu n now become a wife so her transition of not loving or understanding Raman has come a full circle. N besides we r so near to Confession so it makes sense that Ishra shud act like normal husband n wife in love.

I guess track is now moving towards Rinki slowly. I hope Shagun stays with Mihir.

cant beleive v r gettin BANG ON epis BACK TO BACK this week.. *touchwood*...n this happened MAINLY coz finally the track givin JUSTICE to Raman the char n for Ishita-am simply happy to see the old sensible Ishita this week...!! THIS IS the YHM i loved..i knw aise good epis r MEHMAAN in this current YHM...so am njoyin these good epis to the fullest..!!

good post vyas n indeed change of director is DOING GOOD for show surprisingly..!!

I watch the serial but not on a regular basis .. so from the bits I have watched till now .. wonder why I feel that rinki can be married to mihir .. sorry if it sounds absurd coz like I said I don't watch it on a regular basis so there is a possibility that I might have missed many things .. either way can that happen ?
