she was so contracting her each statement in 2nd last ep and she was actually portraying herself in last episode like how raman described her . he knows she can never speak for her in front of balal s mother and she has not learned anything by fighting with him and she will be hurt but as usual she denied him but hua vahi jo raman ne bola tha 😉.

@ Zener well said 👏👏
Big question- Is ishita character really doctor?
One character who is educated , now got immense love from her daughter still she is not ready to fight to infertility insecurities.

If Ishita character can't handle Bala's mom even after getting so much love from Ruhi . which clearly indicates she is weak and dependent on others. She can't fight for her self respect.

In real life I have meet so many female who can't conceive they are much confident and more secure (yes their family and husband supports them ) , they fight with anyone. They don't need any help nor sympathy..

Hats off to real life fighter female who can't conceive and are not dependent on others to fight for them .

Exactly!

What she would hv done if ruhi wasn't there?! She would hv cried sitting in a,corner!
Maybe she would hv taken all insults 😭

Cvs totally failed! In attempt to glorify ishita ruhi relationship they r butchering ishita character.

Ishita silence and sadness indicates that she still don't consider Ruhi as daughter.

First time ruhi fights with Bala 's mom - although am against of whatever ruhi said to her .. Leaving that thing aside , that time Ishita relationships with rest of family and with ruhi was not strong enough.
But today the picture is different , still ishita don't have confidence to fight for herself ..😲

A biological mother don't wait for child to stand up for her - when someone questions mother-child relationship.

Always ruhi fighting for ishita is not fair thing. (I am totally against of ruhi delivery adult type dialogue and insulting adult ( whoever it is ) is not right thing.)

a women insults another women just bcoz she does't conceive..as if she had commited a crime or as she is characterless..whenever a adult behaves lik a cheap immature moron nd insults another women bcoz of her inabilty to conceive..then it is ok for a daughter to fight for her mother..

Good post and I agree...coz its happening way too often and also because CVs are not consistent with Ishita's reactions whether its towards Raman or towards Ruhi. Look at it from Ruhi's point of view. I agree Ishita has faced a very difficult time because of her inability to bear children. But even Ruhi did not have a normal childhood and she is only 6 or 7. She did not have a mother or father and Ishita is not her biological mother. Yet inspite of the pain unknowingly given by Raman and lack of biological relationship with Ishita, still the girl fights the world for both of them...
Just like IshRu, if the CVs keep showing scenes of Ruhi assuring Raman of her love inspite of his indifference towards her earlier then we will start wondering about Raman too. Irrespective of the extent of pain, the fact remains that IshRa are adults and Ruhi is a child and it should not be upto her to keep fighting the world for their relationship. There were many people from the family over there who could have spoken up to defend Ishita including Ishita herself. Just to create more drama, CVs make Ruhi do it every time. It diminishes the impact if repeated again and again. When she did it earlier, I believe both Raman and Toshiji were not present to defend Ishita but this time everyone was there. I did not mind Ruhi doing Ishita's godbharai but that long reprimanding lecture could have been done by someone else.

That is what i am saying : is someone said something to biological mother about her relation with daughter. Would she wait for her daughter to fight with them ?
Or she herself will fight with it ?

Ishita has a daughter ruhi.. And she can't fight because she thinks she is infertile and ruhi is adopted child and not hers.. May be my words are bit harsh but this is what entire ishita -ruhi pictures look like atleast to me.

her infertility s sadness proved greater than ruhi s so called unconditional love ?

or ruhi s unconditional love failed to heal her ?

point taken... but to me the Raman - Ishita conversation was more about Ishita saying that such taunts will not make her question her motherhood... Ishita's condition which makes it difficult to have a biological child has not vanished because she has Ruhi... she had learnt to live with her condition even before Ruhi came in her life... her daughter filled up the void that was in her life and she wholeheartedly accepts that... now her infertility does not determine the direction of her life... but words hurt... and sometimes it hurts more when you know that the people you love also hurt because of these words...

Just like having Ishita as her mother does not change the fact that another woman gave birth to Ruhi... a fact that Ruhi would love to change... to me Ruhi's defensive outbursts to protect her mother are a combination of unconditional love (as you put it) as well as a little insecurity that if the world does not accept her Ishima as her mother then they may get separated... this is the way this 7 year old holds on to and protects the most precious relationship in her life.

Both Ishita and Ruhi are a product of our flawed society... both have been at the receiving ends of taunts that have hurt them... their bond has completed both of them... but that does not mean that what others say doesn't hurt... to me they have not healed each other... because ishita's infertility and the bitterness of Ruhi's biological parents' divorce still remains... but they have provided each other with the strength that was needed to move beyond their pain and forge ahead... their bond still the strongest... is still a work in progress...

Ishita wanted to avoid creating a scene since she knows Bala's mom. During Godhbharai it is considered inauspicious to have a baanj do rituals, hence Ishita was hesitating. Ruhi forced her to do it and Bala's mom started off again. Ishita told her off once but it is not in her nature to tell off elders esp when technically Bala's mom is right! Maybe Raman should have spoken this time.

Sorry to butt in

@ Bold: then concept itself is shaky now : To become a mother you don't need to give birth .. feeling is important.
Because even after getting so much unconditional love from ruhi ishita feels incomplete or pain of not giving birth is still there that means giving birth is important thing than feelings.

Even if you adopt a child you will still feel infertile and incomplete. and that child needs to tell her parents again and again that am your child and don't bear any taunts .- Will it be fair for that kid?

Well picked. 👍🏼 This is called side-effects of over glorification. 😆

I'm seriously fighting an impulse to scuttlebutt further but it might create ruckus here. 😆
