Chapter: 3

Raman asks what happened to me. Toshjii tells him that he was in an accident and was not in conscious for about 13 hours. Raman then asks who these people (Ishita, Ruhi, Adi, Amma and Appa) are everyone is shocked. Meanwhile doctors come to know that Raman is awake and comes to check on his condition. After hearing part of the question doctor asks what you remember last. He says the day Ruhi was born. Mr.Bhalla says but Ruhi was born six years ago. Raman is confused hearing this and tells the doctor he doesn't remember anything after that day(He forgot Shagun left him for Ashok, Adi is 12, Ruhi is six, He got divorced and got married to Ishita).

Raman remembers Adi as a 6 year old kid. Ruhi as a day old baby. His is surprised at his appearance too. Toshjii introduces Adi and Ruhi. When they come near Raman, he is trying hard to picture them and goes back to unconscious. Ruhi is crying uncontrollably that her dad is not remembering her. Romi consoles her and takes Ruhi and Adi for ice-cream.

Everyone is asking questions as to what happened to him at the same time to the doctor. Doctor calms them down and says this usually happens that there is nothing to worry. He says something like psychological trauma happened in those six years which he wants to forget subconsciously that is why he is not remembering those years. Everyone looks at Shagun with accusation. He says slowly his memories will come back for now act as though whatever he thinks is right. Don't push memories on him. Allow him to recollect it by himself. We will keep him in observation for a week.

Ishita follows the doctor and asks him to tell her his exact condition. She says she can understand better since she has medical knowledge. The doctor says Raman has a condition called repressed memory where his past six years are painful for him so he does not want to remember them. There are treatments available to cure them but initially we give the patient time to see whether he can recover all his memory by himself.

You family needs to help him. Instead of pushing memories down on him place things here and there in the house which will spark his memory. The thing I'm going to tell you is going to be very difficult for you do. Ishita says I will do anything for him. Doctor says he does not remember you and thinks he is still married to his first wife. I don't want anyone to correct him about that phase of life because seeing his kids and trying to find them in his memory itself send him back to state of unconscious. He will be more pressed to know more about you that is not good for is health now. Ishita with a hard heart agrees to it.

After coming from the doctor cabin she calls everyone and tells them what doctor said. Shagun is very happy hearing the news. She thinks for Raman health Ishita will go on her own from Bhalla's house. Amma says why god is troubling my kid whenever her happiness is in front of her it gets snatched away. Appa consoles amma and says everything is happening for good reason only and asks Ishu to come to their house to stay until Raman is recovered. Mr.Bhalla and Toshjii say at the same time she cannot come to your house like this. She is our daughter. Appa asks how you will introduce her to Raman. Simmi says Ruhi also won't stay without Ishita so for the time being we will tell Raman Ishita is there to take care of Ruhi. Everyone agrees to it. Shagun is not happy thinking that Ishita is still in Bhalla's house. She thinks wait and watch how I make Raman mine in front of your eyes.

Chapter: 4

The nurse comes and tells everybody has to go only one person can stay in the hospital. Ishita wants to stay with Raman but as he doesn't remember her she cannot stay finally everyone agrees for Romi to stay to take care of Raman.

Ishita reaches her room and looks at all the things there. She remembers all their nok-jhoks they shared in this room. How they comforted each other during difficult times. How their relationship have gone from hatred to enemies, to tolerance, to acceptance, to trust, to friendship and finally to love. Ishita then notices the things which the inspector gave her. She went to see what it is was.

After opening the things she let herself go and starts crying uncontrollably. Rinki was passing by the room seeing her bhabi in this state she calls mumjii and rushes to pick up her bhabi. Everyone comes to the room hearing Rinki shout. Amma comes near Ishita and places her hand on the shoulder. Ishita turns to amma and hugs her tightly and cries her heart out. Slowly she comes back to normal state. Toshjii asks you were very brave in the hospital but what happened now? Ishita doesn't want anyone to see the presents Raman got for her. Ishita tells mumjii when I came into this room it hit me that Raman doesn't remember Ruhi or me. Toshjii says puttar have faith in Mata Rani she will make everything fine.

Ishita moves all her things to Ruhi room. She leaves the eye mask on the Raman side of the bed hoping he will remember the incident were both were embarrassed that mornings seeing her stitching her blouse hook. In Ruhi room in a drawer she places safely both the sorry card made by Raman and the gifts he bought her on the day of his accident. Ruhi comes and asks Ishita why she is moving all her things from their room to her room. Ishita explains to her that her papa is sick and needs lots of space to recover. Ruhi is convinced with Ishita explanation.

Chapter: 5

Raman comes back from the hospital. He is disturbed trying to remember his past six years. He also cannot forget the doe eye shaped lady with love written all over her face. Raman enters his room and feels at peace at last. There is lingering fragrance to the room which he is not able to place.

Raman sees the lady again in his house and wonders who she is. He asks Toshjii about it. Toshjii tells him she is here to take of the kids. He asks what her name is. Toshjii replies Ishita but everybody calls her Ishu so saying she moves away. Raman tries Ishu he does not like the sound then he tries Ishita. The name sounds familiar to him and he likes the way her name rolls on his tongue.

Raman is sitting on the sofa. Ishita is looking at Raman from the kitchen while preparing dinner. Raman asks for cha. Ishita brings him a cup while taking the cup from her their hand accidently brushes and something stirs in Raman.

Ruhi and Adi come back from school. Ishita asks them to go and freshen up. Meanwhile she places snacks and milk for them on the table for them to eat. The kids come and have their snack once they finish Raman calls them to come near him. They both go near him he touches the kids from head to toe trying to see if there is any connection as he got with Ishita. He tells them that he does not remember after Adi 6 year of life so he asks them to tell him about themselves.

Upon hearing the words Ishita rushes to mumjii and asks her to come and stop the kids from telling anything to Raman. Toshjii comes and sends the kids to study. Ishita is helping Ruhi with her work. Adi is seeing this and thinking why doesn't my mother sit with me and help me with my studies.

Shagun comes back from shopping and gives expensive gifts to kids. Raman asks why you are spoiling the kids. She replies don't stress yourself I bought gifts for them so that they don't feel they are not wanted as you were in hospital and could not spend time with kids.

During dinner Mr.Bhalla is sitting on the head of the table on to his right Toshjii is sitting. On to the left Raman is sitting then Ruhi,Adi and Shagun. Next to Toshjii Simmi,Rinki and Romi are sitting. Ishita is serving them dinner. She places food on everyone plate. When she comes near Raman he feels a soothing fragrance near him and closes his eyes to try and see where he got that smell before but the memory is still hazy for him.

Ruhi looking at papa not eating food from his plate is worried. She thinks how Ishima said that papa is not feeling well so takes a bite from his plate and takes it to his mouth to feed him. Raman opens his eyes to see his little girl with food on her to feed him he opens his mouth for her to keep the morsel. When her little hand touches his mouth suddenly a memory comes back to him of her feeding him in the night. He is crying and hugging her. He doesn't remember the conversation what happened then but he could clearly see his girl in the picture and how she is trying to soothe him. He looks at Ruhi and tells her he is very sorry he forgot about her growing years but one memory of her feeding him has come back. Everybody is happy hearing the news.

lovely update

Awesome update!

Maya thanks my dear for the PM. Very interesting story line and I toltaly like it. It is different and fresh to read. I'm not mind even it long post. I love your concept and eager to know how you will plan out to get Raman memory back. May be now he just start to attract to Ishu more than Shagun eager to know her I will like that way and keep Shagun try not much to interact with Raman will be nice if Ruhi try to help Ihu and raman closer so we can habpve nice moment of them. That is my thought. Thank you for writng beautiful story for us again dear.🤗
