FOR: Chapter 1 - The Edge of Desire

As promised! From the first chapter! I haven't forgotten the res. post, though! 😉

While this isn't the first fic of yours that I'm reading, I had become a fan of yours from the very beginning, Aani (you don't mind if I call you Aani, right?)! You'll have to forgive me for being quite inconsistent about commenting, though. 😒 It's a bad habit of mine, I'm afraid!

Anyway, GREAT start! 😊 I don't think I came across another fic that takes an alternative version of this scene, so this is exciting! 👏

What can I say about the characters that hasn't already been said?! Simmi and Rinki are in their teasing mode (I was hoping that Romi was there as well, but oh well!) Ruhi is her same cute self! AWWW! [🤗 Ruhi] For once, Toshiji and Amma aren't being kabab mein haddis, THANK GOD! 👍🏼 And Raman! Well, he's a special snowflake! The more sarcastic and blunt he is, the more he's liked! 😉 It's so funny when his brain-to-mouth filter is missing! 🤣 And of course, apShagun! That B.I.G.G.E.S.T. KABAB MEIN HADDI! _ESPECIALLY_ for our IshRa! 😡 😡 😡 I'm glad Toshiji and Amma pulled her out of that room because I myself was tempted to kick her out!

When she was doing her fish-out-of-the-water impression, all I could think was, "How _UNFLATTERING_!!" 😆

Raman was right about one thing, though! I would choose him over apShagun any time! I don't know how she thought Ishita would be any different! ApShagun ka toh akal hi nahi! 🤬

I'm looking forward to rereading this SS and commenting to the chapters, so please be patient with me! 😉 😊

wonderful chapter- this chapter, to me, defines the "all" in the title. not just physical, not just now but "all" that makes "me" and "you".

that note beforehand, especially about the vividness of light and shadows was so perfect for ishra! love how you get these quotes just right for each chapter 👏

Beautifully written Aani...Poignant and intense narration of a totally broken man who was betrayed and ridiculed by his own love and life.

Amazingly tells his hearts pain and despair. and how much it would be tough for him to move on and start trusting another woman in his life.

Ishita's patient listening of his venting out would have been a consolation and relief to him...

There are times you really can't put your feelings to words. This is one of those.

Aani got to admit, after this one part, you made up for the wait.

All the words, Raman's feelings, it sort of drained me. And Ishita's silent understanding.

No matter what, it's hard to overcome all the rejection Raman faced but one simple gesture can brush all those past moments.

Emotionally very touching, nothing to add ❤️

And as usual, laziness is my trademark.

Also the adaptation was a show, talkhiyan. Classy, poetic but controversial too.

p.s: My past post was mere sarcasm..All of it. U're free to ignore 😳

gosh, this was so beautiful hon👏
absolutely loved reading Raman's pov
it was so emotional. it took me back to the initial episodes of the show where it was so heartbreaking to watch Raman's betrayal and pain..😭

the sweet, soft and quite gesture is so Ishita 😳. loved that scene. in moments like these they fall more in love with each other and we with them❤️

This was in my opinion the most in depth and beautiful chapter of this SS.

It should Raman Kumar Bhalla in a vulnerable human light. One that only your words could give so much beauty to.

Aani, sorry for the delay (mera laptop bilkul mujh pe gayi hai... so temperamental!) 😔 And I take so much time to write the replies, that if I was a writer, this much effort would give birth to masterpieces! Alas, that isn't possible, so I'll enjoy yours, instead! 😉

FOR: Chapter 2 - Lost The Battles But Won The War

Raman's whole inner monologue was HILARIOUS! 🤣 He is quite a complex character who wields sarcasm as a weapon and acts contrary to his feelings. It is, therefore, always interesting to get a glimpse of his inner psyche. His impulsiveness was a TOTAL treat and all I was thinking while reading was, "Aye haye! Kitne possessive hai iss Raavan Kumar apne Jhansi ki Rani ko lekar!! " You showed his claim on Ishita (and her place in his life) so perfectly! 😊

When you were recaping what happened with apShagun, I, again, felt like kicking her out!

But all I could imagine was Raman trying to be all calm

and suddenly going all, "ROAR! *swipes claws*"

when apShagun just wouldn't leave them alone!

And Ruhi CHUUHI!!! 🤗 Always adorable and protective of her Ishimaa! 😳

I can't choose a favorite part! There are too many! So, thank you for writing this chapter from Raman's point of view as I THROUGHLY enjoyed it! 😃 It might be purgatory for him, but it was nothing but pleasure for me! 😉 ❤️ 👍🏼

As time passed by, he grew so comfortable around Ishita he could speak his mind out, say anything and absolutely everything." - I was just thinking about this the other day when I scene plays out where he says Shaadi toh sirf ek baar hoti hain.. and she looks at him.. he sheepishly confesses mujh jaisi gadhe ki do baar bhi hoti hain...and i thought how many couples can talk about an ex like this...😃😛

We have always spoken about how Raman's biggest fear.. one of them is the feeling of being rejected, and this was all because of his past. In this update you have written about it beautifully aani...! I have always wanted a better perspective on Raman's past rather than the passing shots that we get or some random mention about how he has been wronged... who better than you to do justice do that...👏 I have read this thrice already... and I am sure I would read it again and again...there is something about the way you write!😛

"This moment, his heart feels is the most intimate experience of his life." - Beautiful way of puttig it aani...This puts into perspective the equation between them... who said intimacy needs to be physical alone...😳
