RES...because all I want to do now is imagine Shagun's glorious, humiliating, full of unforgettable RKB insults grand exit from the Bhalla house!😈 Have you seen the OLV videos yet? RKB's subtle insults give me a sadistic pleasure! Hopefully this marks the beginning of the Shagun-bashing parade! 😈

G! Gawd how much do I love your collage today? Seriously i think your thread is just a camping ground for old romantic souls who crave those incredible little moments more then red hot passionate (.. or I suppose as passionate as you can get on Desi TV) moments. My introduction to romance and romantic heroes was Victorian literature... Austen and her contemporaries were my teachers- so my ideal romance is that kind of wooing... and that's why I love this couple and their love so much. With their quips and their strong headed natures, their egos and family commitments, their shying away and coming together- they are quite similar to the kind of characters that for me will always define an ideal romantic encounter and relationship. Word - that's what makes this so more realistic. I mean in real life you don't constantly see red hot passionate romance all the time...well some people may, but that's them..haha.

The other part of the conversation that I loved was Raman's mention that Ru was her Papa's daughter. For me this was a seed sowed by my beloved RKB for the future tracks that are about to come forth. This is something for us all to remember.RKB is no less then Ru when it comes to possessiveness of Ishita as as well as the ability to see through Shagun and I choose to believe that Raman has finally come out of his 'Adhi ke liye' haze and will finally make the right decisions for his son as a responsible father... rather then remaining mute spectator letting his son rule the roost. I believe that the passing mentions of 'sirf Ruhi ke liye' (am I the only one that said sirf, sirf ,sirf sirf, Ruhi ke liye when they said those lines?😉) was also a nod in that direction. They are past that phrase, past that phase, they are not those distant strangers anymore but a unit who will move forward as such and will not allow for anyone to come in between them.If I remember correctly - the "sirf x100 Ruhi ke liye" happened around this time last year, so it makes sort of sense why they went to the cafe and mentioned this! I give the CVs 10 points back for this cute throwback (never thought I would say this...lolz)! ⭐️I also think Raman is largely over "Adi ke liye." Right now he thinks he's doing what's best for Adi & Adi is "getting better." But little does Raman know that his son is even more conniving now. The only real bad decision he's made is letting Shagun chill in there house all vela-like.

I mean.. really? we all knew right? did you really expect anything less?
... not sure if that made sense... But basically ladies and gents forget the 'when' and 'where' and enjoy the 'why'. Word. I think as Desi TV viewers people expect this grand proclamation of love but for 2 leads who have had their self-confidence in love crushed - you can't expect the why immediately. I mean I get that the only reason it hasn't happened is because of all the dang haddis but it's just building the intensity of their desire to admit their feelings! I think the CVs need to be more clever with the haddis though...if it continues for much longer it may appear repetitive (like lots of Shagun's current dialogs...😆)

Sooo Question:
Wouldn't a building like Raman's current on have cameras in the halls? In which case Shagun's whole interaction with ISHRU would be on tape? ...or am I reaching?
... I feel an OS coming on ... 😆any takers? All I ask for is the total humiliation of Shagun and a real blasting from RKB!😉 I ditto this! I'm a horrible writer but I LOVE reading everyone's OSs!
#13 regular episodes until ISHRAnniversary ... and all i want is a SHADHI free episode...😛 YES! CVs better not mess this up!

Oh my god I love Victorian literature too...I got introduced to them during middle school..so yes romance to me is still old school...and you just made me sigh with your @bold
So yes, I adored the hand holding: I adore that he didn't grab but held, I adore that he sought permission, I adore the little squeeze, I adore the respect and most of all I adore the shyness that still flirts between them. This scene reminded me of the 'engagement' scene where he again asked for her hand before placing the ring on her finger. Most often eyes are used to describe the journey of love but for me hands are just as important. When you think about it, the show has done an exemplary job in illustrating their evolving relationship just with the 'hands' metaphor. When it started they would barely touch, on their marriage day and afterwards they flinched at the touches forced by ritual and circumstance, after a while Raman began grabbing her by the wrist after confrontations with Shagun, then it was no longer grabbing but holding with possessiveness, which slowly shifted to a touch of newly bloomed love and now it's the shying touches as ways to express their overwhelming adoration. I love this!! ❤️

As for the delay in the confession...
I mean.. really? we all knew right? did you really expect anything less?
I know some people are getting really frustrated about it and i saw several posts to that regard bit i am finally beginning to enjoy it. Finally. Because I finally understand the need for it. Think about what Ishita said tho Raman when he asked for a kiss the other day 'I've never been married before...' switch out the word 'marriage ' with 'love' and it completely makes sense. Neither of them have really been in love, in the real, deep , connected love that gives them the sense of belonging and comfort of an older adult love and the giddy headiness of a young teenage love. The have found that weird perfect balanced love because as much as they are adults in this area they are also very much like teenagers. and part of that whole experience is the 'grandness' of love and its confession.. so for them this is needed not because they can't say it but because they want to create those big unforgettable confession scene that teens dream about. Their adult minds know that they are in love- thy have stated the other's love as fact repeatedly when speaking to others but that confession, the yearning to give it and receive it in such a way... that's all a part of that teenage yearning. Love, the first taste of real , soul deep love has put these two level headed adults into a tailspin of hormones and yearnings and thrown them off balance a little bit, thus the verbal stumbling and the blushing ... It's kind of cute. 😳 Yes today I wrote something similar to someone in the thread that why they want to confess I love you...only mine was not as beautifully written as yours😳 I'm so happy that the writers are able to convey this subtle need for these two to confess other wise there was no need.
... not sure if that made sense... But basically ladies and gents forget the 'when' and 'where' and enjoy the 'why'.

Sooo Question:
Wouldn't a building like Raman's current on have cameras in the halls? In which case Shagun's whole interaction with ISHRU would be on tape? ...or am I reaching? The answer depends on where the CVs want to take this...if they want Shagun out yesterday, the cameras would be there ..if not...Toshijee, Simmi and Neelu vanishes into the walls when these kinda loud confrontations happen😕😆
... I feel an OS coming on ... 😆any takers? All I ask for is the total humiliation of Shagun and a real blasting from RKB!😉

We've gotten 5 consecutive episodes reminiscent of the pre-time slot change so far! This is a new goal for the CVs! For that - 🥳 you seriously have been keeping a count?😆 but yes thank s to the cvs...they are trying to bring back the magic
Still have mixed feelings about Ruhi's actions/words, but it was nice to see someone point out the facts to Shagun. I may be beating a dead horse here (not that I condone violence of any type 😉), but I just can't fully digest the intentionality behind Ruhi's actions and her dialogues were a bit too adult. A 6 year acting out to preserve her family unit - I totally and completely understand. It's just the CVs are treading on very thin line. Gan - your paragraph in the main post summarizes my feelings about this.I'm happy someone is putting Shagun in her place, but I wish the CVs didn't make it such that theonly character acting out is Ruhi. At least they could have shown Romi or Simmi also being more dismissive of her. yep Simmi gave her attitude even when Shagun tried to hget chummy after the Param fiasco...but I guess GKC blinder has weakened her instincts too...Romi atleast showed it in his body language when Raman asked for him to pass on the popcorn to shagun During Lohri puja.A major gap in the story-telling of this track I am really noticing is that both before & after Adi/Shagun "left" for Mihir's - Raman was always needing to be reminded of Adi by Ishita (i.e. today with the ice cream). It was always Ishita encouraging him to take Adi to the movies and such, but then every now and then you see this sudden possessiveness Raman has for Adi, which makes the plot hard to digest.
Now for my gushing - Puttar & the Missus becoming emotional anchors for each other warms my heart. I personally don't think they need a grand proclamation of love because love just oozes with each glance or spoken word. When Puttar & Biwi actually talk... yeah we're ( the regulars in this thread) all like that when those scenes happen..how little things make us go all mushy gushy😳A few words about Romi today...His entitled attitude is puke-worthy, and unfortunately guys like that exist. There are many "men" who will not man up and take responsibility, but then expect everyone to dance to their tunes. It's sickening...🤢Gan - your last collage with the hand-holding & loving gazes is totally on point! ❤️ thank you ..I loved that scene the best...☺️

Raman keeps talking about how Adi has been wronged etc, but till ishita came in Ruhi was wronged too. The Bhallas just made her grow up, thats it! She had no parental love or support. So now when she sees Shagun and Adi all the time bad mouthing Ishita, now ofcourse they suddenly like Raman, Ruhi needs to take up for her mother. No one else can see what Shagun is upto. Ishita told Raman, but other than shouting at her, he has no plans to show her the door! This seems like a great arrangement for all. So it is important for Shagun to see that her goal in not only difficult, but impossible! Tomorrow she will blackmail ishita using Adi again, what else can u expect from a shameless woman ?😡
Did I ever tell you that I am obsessed with this couple and their unique story, did I..did I? lol if it isn't evident I am in LOVE with this these two who trying to find love within each other. More than any romantic dances, any physical intimacy and/or grand gestures, their emotional conversations make my heart flutter.
I do not have words that could justify the beauty of the little scene between Raman and Ishita in their bedroom, so simple and yet so beautiful. A lot was said and conveyed in that scene very subtly; Raman said, We should protect our loved one's insecurities and not share it with everyone'. How beautiful and simple, a SIL guarding his FIL's image and self respect by not mentioning the financial crisis to anyone and fixing the problem without anyone knowing.
Ishita felt like she failed as a daughter because she could not read her father and sense his trouble, so very poignant and true, we often get so involved in our own lives and problems that we tend to forget our loved ones. The beauty of this scene was how Raman dealt with her guilt and made her feel comfortable, he said, isn't your appa my appa', with a simple statement he declared that they are a team! So what if she was preoccupied with her life and could not sense Appa's trouble because he was there to fill that void like she fills a lot of voids in his life. So many feels!
Puttar is so cute! He knew the missus is stressed and so he asked her to spill the beans, he did not belittle her concern but made her feel secure by reaffirming her love for Ruhi and Ruhi's love for her Ishima. The most endearing part for me was when he joked about the jealously and neglect he feels when he sees the love between Ishita and Ruhi, I found it so cute and romantic, a husband asking for his wife's undivided attention and almost wishing he would be babied and coddled like his daughter is.
There is a song called Labon se from the movie Astha penned by Gulzar saab, in which he outlines a man who has been roaming around this planet trying to find solace 'therav' in hindi but he couldn't find any until he met his beloved. He is pleading with her to kiss him with her lips and hold him with her eyes, aakhon se tham lo-I cannot translate this brilliance in English any better than this. This is about a man being a wandering soul for ages till he is in the arms of his beloved. In that song he further states that he is so enamored by his beloved's love that he sometimes wished that he taken birth from her existence because there is nothing purer than a mother-child relationship. I apologize for making it sound incestuous because it isn't, I can't do justice to Gulzar saab's work and in the process of explaining his lyrics I butcher the meaning. Below are two lines that from the song that I referenced here.
Labo se chum lo aankhon se tham lo mujhko
tumhi se janmu toh shayad mujhe panaah mile
Raman's expression of a little jealousy is the biggest compliment to Ishita's love because he is so enamored by the love she has for him that he cannot fathom what would it be like to actually experience love from Ishita the mother. This was the most loving part of the episode for me. If you can't tell I have listened to Labon se chim lo song a zillion times already and when I get into Gulzar saab world I tend to lose my self so I have lost my train of thought and hence must end my rambling here.
Sorry couldn't comment on their date, and Ruhi-Shagun fiasco as my hands hurt and my brain is fried.
