Unlike Ishra those are real people and it's disturbing to know that real people have so little respect for a woman.

just don't let it get to you...people's perspective vary...i have been to few debates...and when I realize you can't debate objectively on content with blind fanatism...I don't waste my time there...because you can only reason when people are receptive...why waste time when the minds are already made. 🤗

1. Don't marry someone cause you love his kid.
2. Don't change your opinion of someone and fall in love cause he'll come back full circle to your first opinion and this time around it'll hurt like hell.

The only part I dread is the distinct difference that has set post Mani track...the track closures never justify the intensity...everyone knows about jump from absolute breakdown to comedy next day...from intense dreakdown of Raman to comedy of Airport chase...As much as I love comedy...this track cannot afford to have one of those...as it touched upon very sensitive subject...brought the leads relationship in the foreground...and the first actual trial of their love, trust and respect...it needs TLC...no comedy central please.

thats my only wish right now...because as much as I rave and rant...when Ishita forgives RKB...I'll do the same and move on(as my expectation of a fictional story is different than that of real life) ...and gush again about RKB and his smirk...and Ishita's blush...

but please treat the redemption with as much intensity as it deserves.
my two paisa😆

Amen to that Gan. If what you and us are hoping for comes true, I might, just might forgive the CVs for this mess😛

You gals are on a roll-the much required comic relief:)
And plz don't worry abt things making sense-coz no matter how hard you try-you can't beat the CVs😡When we are dealing with them, your bullet points are as logical as they get:)

Just read the updates on the story, it's cringe worthy. I have stopped watching the show almost 3 weeks ago. But I always check on your updates, just to have insight as you are always looking for the silver linnning. Anyway I have no faith in the CV's trying to redeem the Raman's character. Last time CV's didn't even talk about when Raman was forcing himself on Ishitha, they had just justified in some puja, where he holds her hand during the (oil bath ceremony) and all is well between them. Ishita also suffers from selective amnesia.
So all will be well in next few days as this is Telly land. But we viewers are left without any answers. Rather most of us have a bitter taste in our mouth.I Feel wasted that I invested so much time in a show, which started out so well and now is heap of crap,
where women have no respect, ( is it ok to shout at the wife) in front others????
Girl child has no importance,
Wife is taken for granted, in Raman's case she has to take his burnt language & demeanor
It's almost a bigamy
Mother n law shows true colors( that she is backbiting about daughter in law) and
The GKC is indeed a devil incarnation.

My rant can continue, I felt so awful just reading the update. Even if Raman is acting just to expose Shaugun, its being done in very distasteful manner.

Full disclosure I haven't read all the pages here as I had a long day so if what I am about to say is repetitive then I apologize in advance.

1) I do not condone Puttar's actions and neither do I think his behavior and harsh words with the missus are acceptable, what I meant while giving him a benefit of doubt is that we all do irrational things when angry. I am a temperamental person myself and come from a family of temperamental people so I know what anger can do to a sane loving person. And unfortunately love also encompasses hurt we end up hurting the person who loves us the most. Puttar's character flaw is his inability to control his temper and his blind-obsessive love for his long lost son. Is it right? No, is it fair to Ishita? Hell NO, but does that make puttar a bad person? I do not think so. He is human and just doing the best he can while dealing with his own demons of the past. His biggest demon is his estranged son, and he is almost junooni about him, which is sad and pathetic because he loses track of the people who actually love and care for him like his wife and daughter.

When I typed what I typed on page 1 and when I say what I say here, I almost have the same feeling like I am supporting a domestic abuser, it's that feeling that eats you away and I had the same feeling when puttar in his drunken stupor had tried to molest Ishita, but more than that my resolve broke when he lay doubts on Ishita's character. Nothing is worse than doubting the fidelity of your spouse, again in my process of making excuses for the character I adore, I wrote off his horrendous act to his past experience, and I guess I am doing the same now. I know puttar is going to do something stupider in the upcoming episodes and all this is gonna come bit me in my ass. Sigh I believe Raman even in anger wouldn't say such mean things to missus but for TRP and to ensure Ishita hits her breaking point they are making him say such horrendous things. I don't know ladies, I am confused with puttar's charater, I love him I really do, I understand his anger, I understand he didn't mean all those words but his callousness towards Ishita and Ruhi over Adi is something I can't justify because puttar can be many things but he unfair he is not! So such unfair behavior towards Ishu and Ruhi is very uncharacteristic. Okay enough about puttar he can remain in the grey zone for me.

2) Two wives living in the same house: TRP crap, not real, would never happen, aint nobody got time for that.

3) Ishita: Even though I gush about puttar all day in G's thread in all honesty I am big Ishita fan and I have had several conversations with people here about the unfair treatment meted out to this character on this forum. I do not think she is mahan, or over the top, she is one character who puts everyone above her, does things to please her loved ones even at the cost of hurting herself. I know this a fictional show but how far to the worse has our world turned that now we don't expect people to be nice and if they are nice, polite and considerate we label them as Mahan' and here is another question, let's label her as mahan, even then why is it bad to be mahan? Is she a murderer? Is she mean? Is she cunning? Is she actually a step mom? I mean what is her fault here? That she loves a man who is still haunted by his past and obsessed with this son and all she is doing is helping him get a closure. I mean for Christ's sake, what is her fault in all of this. Ishita in my opinion needs to stand up for herself and tell puttar that if he ever yells at her again in front of a 3rd person then she will turn into HULK and create such a havoc in his life that he wouldn't know what him. She also needs to pack up her bag and move away from the Bhalla clan for a little bit, she did enough already, they clearly are enamoured by their ghar ka chirag, so she should take the ghar ki laxmi Ruhi with her and move out for a little bit till sanity returns to the Bhalla clan. But I doubt CVs will let this happen, after such an emotionally draining track they will return Ishita and Raman to the same old Goddamn nok jhok without every addressing the root problem and morons like myself will be back here gushing over the cuteness.

4) Toshiji needs to be packed up and sent back to the 1950's era because her actions and words fit that time. She sounds archaic, backward and outright ridiculous mouthing those lines, and I am surprised that Simmi, Rinki, Romi and Mr. Bhalla are just silent spectators to all this. Why aren't they speaking up against the injustice being done to Ishita and Ruhi? What's the point of having Simmi's character revival and Romi's as well if they were supposed to be silent spectators to all this. Who is supposed to get Raman and Toshi in line? Mr. Bhalla your big boy pants are calling and now would be the appropriate time to come wear them and lay down some law.

Whenever I make a mistake and I make a lot of mistakes lol, I sing this song in my besuri awaz so here is the song for hurting folks here with my support for puttar, sorry on puttar and my behalf to Ishita and the good folks here. 😆

Sorry I cannot comment on your collages today Ganbarun.IF is acting buggish on my mobile, regardless of whether I use the desktop or mobile version. Can't view pics in any post:((

My two cents on today's seemingly train-wrecked episode:

"Once I did bad,and that I heard 'ever.Twice I did good and that I heard never."

"This was the most unkindest cut of all." - Julius Caesar

"Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in" - The Godfather 3

A lot has been said about Toshi and her face-off with Ishita about laying off Adi,tortured soul that he is.Sexism in its most detestable form.Nothing new.She allowed Raman to wallow in grief for six years,to the point where he did not acknowledge his daughter. In her clan, men have the luxury of psychological breakdowns. Women just have to suck it up and deal with it.Case in point,Raman's ill-treatment of Ruhi during the DNA track.

But the real point to have noted from this awful interaction was dealt with in a blink and miss manner. For the first time, there was mutiny on the bounty.Ishita looked positively thunderous. No lowering of the eyes,no simpering or whimpering "But Mummyji...".Ishita is my pet character, because she is the underdog. One of my pet grouses with her character sketch, however,is the lack of animosity openly displayed towards the rest of her in-laws, even when she is wronged. It was always Raman who bore the brunt.I found that unrealistic. Which professional, modern woman of today totally brushes aside her MIL calling her a lady of the night(Param incident)?Ishita is now finding her bearings as a DIL,and therefore she is digging in her heels. That look of rebellion said "This is my home now too MIL dear, and sorry to say,but I find your approach to parenting a whole load of horse-sh*t.You've basically raised a bunch of orang-utans in human form. And you're doing the same with Adi".
In years to come, she will be vindicated when Ruhi grows up well-adjusted and educated, perhaps choosing a noble profession such as medicine.Adi will be a flunker like Romi, getting work only at Raman's company, and then embezzling to fund his drug habit.By then, the Bhallas would have worked through the entire list of shrinks in Delhi,to help Adi with his 'trauma'.Takeaway from this:Ishita is not going to run,so bring it on Shagun!

Raman, already petulant at having his reconciliation efforts thwarted by the light of his life, goes ballistic when he finds Adi missing. He hurls illogical, hurtful accusations at Ishita, left, right and centre.A day ago,he thought he had all his ducks in a row, love,a stable family and the final missing piece in his jigsaw puzzle of life,Adi.He was living his dream, but he was waiting to exhale. He was choosing to overlook the impending disaster that would result from the horrendous living arrangements he had covertly winked at.He knew that the domino effect had to take place, and hoping against hope it would happen later rather than sooner. And when it did,he panicked.

He accused her of negligence, he said she couldn't handle children. She couldn't make head or tail of this, and with each blow her soul was crushed by his cruelty. Her anger is being delayed, and resurface it will, after she is made to apologise to Shagun.Right now,she is trying to find order in chaos yet again.

All his accusations were his projections onto Ishita. You see,our man-boy has done it again. He has found a new goddess to worship.Years ago,it was Shagun's astounding beauty that held him in awe, that an average geek like him could breathe the same air as her.Today he is hot, successful, rich. He does not need a trophy wife.So when he fell in love again,it had to be for a reason. And she had to be better than him.Ishita was pure of heart,yes.Kind,yes.But most importantly, she appeared to be an alchemist in human relationships, something he was not.And this time around, his affections were reciprocated, by his very own Madonna. He had won her love, and she would wave her magic wand and transform the untransformeable,Adi.Just as she had done with Ruhi, his father,Simmi.

While the other forum members found his repetitive praise of her over the past few weeks tedious and unconvincing, I began to see hints of "Mommy-worship" developing.A weird obsession with hints of Oedipus thrown in."Mommy, only you can fix this,I know you can."

Today he was bawling like a baby."Mommy, how could you let this happen to me?You were supposed to take care of my most beloved toy,and you didn't.You were supposed to have banished the evil witch from our kingdom, and made Adi fall in love with me,like you did for Ruhi.I became a better person for you,why didn't you fulfill my remaining wish?No don't come with me,I know I am being horrible to you,but I can't watch Adi do it as well. You will still love me,undeserving wretch that I am.How will I live with myself knowing that I sacrificed you at the altar of my complex, unreasonable desires?"

In her twilight years, when Ishita looks back at this moment, she will realise that she was not betrayed, but merely that she had chosen to love someone who would always be the weaker link in such situations. She was his Knight in shining armour, you see,not the other way around.

In his golden years,Raman will realise that Ishita, gentle soul that she was,did not possess the midas touch after all.She cleared the debris so that he could see the love that was already there. She could not conjure up unconditional emotions in Adi,as Raman would always be a means to an end for him.
