Very nice post. I think you just spoke my mind.
Shouting at Ishita when Shagun was around was just unacceptable.
Understand he takes the liberty with Ishita but there is a limit.

Frankly I feel sorry for him as behind that so called tough exterior he is so vulnerable unlike Ishita who is a strong woman.
Maybe the cruel blows of life made him so...

Nonetheless today was beyond limits...

He is only bothered about what he wants... ruhi has brain, but her father definitely lacks one

Thanks😊

I sympathise with raman because even after getting so much in life, he is still not satisfied. He always values things which he dont have...

Ruhi-ishita will never become his priority in life... even if he chooses them, it will only be a compromise.

Yes, today raman was nothing less than a barking jerk.

Raman is shown as a dumb person who cant recognise his evil ex and son's plotting.

Dancing to shagun's tunes now also... and claiming to love his wife.

If he clearly loved ishita, her tears will atleast mellow him down, if not melt him.

CVs are hell bent on portraying Raman as someone with multiple personalities. Just two days back, he was praying for her and did pooja/mannat for her. And then a simple issue, and he shouts at her without a big reason. By saying that I wont justify Ishita too. Both were at fault. She could have stopped arguing back or continue when they were inside their private space.

If CVs wanted to show them fight, they could have atleast used a more valid reason. This wasnt reason enough for a matured couple like Ishra to fight like that. I mean they have both been shown as people who can see through the other. Today, when they fought with each other I couldnt see the present day Ishita and Raman but 2 strangers whom we first met when the serial started. There was no emotions in their eyes whatsoever. I mean come on grow up. even if Adi and Ruhi arent watching, you arent supposed to fight so ruthlessly without a forethought of who is around you.

Blaming Ishita for her goodness and bringing Shagun home was again sign of short term memory loss. So does that mean he doesnt want her there? Then why doesnt he throw her out? whats stopping him?

I think CVs are more than confused as to what they want to show and how they want to portray Raman as.
In the book, Raman is portrayed as a bit selfish when it comes to Adi. there are problems between Ishita and Raman due to Adi as Adi and Ishita dont bond well. One good thing in the book was that Shagun is married to Ashok. so the issues were just related to Adi accepting Ishita and back.

Good post Vidya!!!

Raman's character lack consistency big time... he was not all moved with the hurt and tears in her eyes, and all this for a silly reason.

I hate when raman shouts like a local rowdy, anger can be expressed in more sensible ways and words. Ishra didnt have this much hate for each other in past many months, this episode looked liked one of accident track.

Raman can be selfish for his son for all I care, but he is fighting with the wrong person... if he have guts let him fight it out with shaguni

And raman got up from deep slumber and suddenly saw shagun in his house, so he is blaming ishita. Next day making her say sorry and shifting shagun back to the house.

CVs need to have bramhi daily for improving memory

Appu ... this has always been my pet crib with Raman Bhalla. In a nanosecond he reverts to being a screeching jerk not bothering about the time or the place. Its the same as being drunk and creating a ruckus in the very building that you live in, passing out drunk at your doorstep and behaving like an uneducated douche in case things don't work the way you want them to.

And today not only Raman but to an extent Ishita too behaved in that manner. The Ishita we know would never stand in the middle of the hall and start fighting with her husband especially knowing that Shagun was standing right there. And they were fighting, no matter what they told Shagun. Were both of them blind to not see Shagun right there? CV's & their nonsense 😡

And Adi & Ruhi ... it has always been shown that Raman has had a preference for Adi. I do not agree with RKB when he says that its because Adi was away from him. Ruhi too was away for him for the same amount of years. Its more to do with the fact that Adi is his firstborn son and that he spent many a happy years being his Dad. A time when his life was "perfect".

I really hope this is going towards an Ishra separation. Ishita has always been there for RKB and the Bhalla's -- always. They acknowledge the happiness that she has bought in their household. BUT ...they need to realize that the family, their home & lives are now incomplete without this woman. Especially Raman and the best way to do that is to be away from her. Plus I think Ishita too needs to get priorities right and understand there is a limit to being selfless especially with people like Shagun.

PS - It was incredibly mean of Raman to say that Ishita bought Shagun home and thus she's responsible for all the trouble caused by his ex-wife'e presence. I do not recall him protesting at that time ?

thanks dear...have edited the post and added something in it.
She could have stopped arguing back or continue her arguments when they were in their private space! I found the entire reason for fight sort of silly. and so Ishita clinging onto her POV seemed unrealistic as well because she is shown as a person who is quite patient and non impulsive.
