Madhvi Iyer is pissed that Toshi ji blamed Ishita instead of being thankful to her. We are pissed too AMMA...😡
"Toshi ji ke liye ADI bahut important hai...aur kyun na ho, After all, GHAR KA FIRST CHILD hai woh"
Mr. Iyer tries to justify that its kinda natural. Appa is worried that if a situation arises where Raman might have to choose between ADI's happiness and Ishita, what would he do? Mrs. Iyer is worried that her virtuous daughter ALWAYS puts everybody else before her...I SIDE WITH AMMA. SORRY APPA...I DONT AGREE WITH YOUR 'FIRST CHILD' THEORY
Ishita is STILL MULLING over the fact that MAYBE, She was at faultShe's prepared breakfast for ADI and asks Simmi to give it to him...Toshi ji steps in to her aid, and offered to take the breakfast tray to ADI's room.
Raman observes Ishita STILL maintaining her distance from ADI...and decides he'll have a talk with her AGAIN...he meets Appa on the way out and then ...
Appa suggests to Raman about keeping a pooja...for the family..and that's when Raman decides he'll keep the pooja for Ishita..
Ishita's gone to meet Amma-Appa...Amma asks her if everything's fine...Ishita's response remains casual, non-commital as she avoids discussing anything about ADI.
Amma thinks "Ishita ki life mein bahut bada toofan aane wala hai" We are in AGREEMENT, Amma😔
Raman-ADI bonding over video games continues..am not happy..nor going all 'AWWW" over it...coz I DONT LIKE THAT KID. AT ALL.I DIDNT EVEN BUY HIS SMILES...HIS GENUINE 'HAPPINESS'...
Raman tells him he needs to go to the temple..for a mannat he's kept...ADI presumes its for him and feels all blissful...and offers to go with him...Raman tells him he'll get him a veshti in the evening and get him dressed up in the traditional attire...for the pooja...
Raman leaves for office halfway thru his day-off after getting a call from Mihir. ASHOK tries to taunt Mihir by saying, "Waise..kal raat hum bahut der tak jaage the" He was basically hinting that He and MIHIKA hit it off really crazy the previous night...what an ASS...didnt have the ba*** to say he got kicked square in his backside and was doomed to remain celibate the rest of his life...
Raman and Neil present an agreement to ASHOK which states, "ADI is not his son and ASHOK has NOTHING to do with him anymore." He's got sign the agreement, or else, the 3-CONTRACT DEAL IS OFF...ASHOK is INDIGNANT that Raman's gone back on his words and come up with such unfair conditions...Raman counter-attacks saying HE shouldn't be talking about promises, when he hasnt honoured ANY in his life...
"Maang TU raha hai..aur bhikhari humein bol raha hai" Raman taunts ASHOK.
"Sau saal ki umar hai MERE bete ki" he says, when he gets a call from ADI...trying to emphasize it was HIS son...on and off the papers now...
"Shayad tu bhool gaya ki tere bacche ke saath..uski maa bhi saath mein aayegi...ya phir yeh bhool gaya ...kahin teri biwi ne bhi koi contract sign toh nai kiya" ASHOK taunts him again..I kinda agree with ASHOK here..its a BAD DEAL...for IshRa😔
Raman starts off with a speech on meaning of love and relationships...about everything not being about money...and I'd have throttled myself had he gone ON AND ON about being good and its benefits..BUT..HE SAVED THE DAY FOR ME BY TAUNTING ASHOK THRU HIS SECOND-HAND WALA SPEECH
"Tujhe kabhi pata chala ki ghar aake biwi bacchon se milne mein kitni khushi milti hai? Kaise milegi...Teri biwi tujhe dekhti hi nahin hai...kyunki woh teri biwi hai hi nahin...kisi aur ki hai.."
"Hamesha doosre ki biwi...bacche...pehle Shagun, phir Mihika, phir ADI..Ruhi...sab second-hand hi milta hai tujhe...apna bhi kuch rakh..."
"Lekin kya karen...shayad bhagwan ne teri kismat SECOND-HAND PEN se hi likhi hai" LOVED IT...ONLY RAMAN CAN PULL OFF THAT TASHAN...THAT SWAGGER...MY GOD...YA HOT LAG RAHA THA USS SAMAY...
Amma informs Toshi ji that both the Iyers have held a pooja for the evening...and invites her to come along...Toshi ji says she'll come along...a minute later, Pammi Aunty calls Toshi ji and inquires about ADI's health...Toshi ji tells her that Ishita had accidentally given him the wrong medicine, coz of which complications happened...and that he's okay now...Amma hears this and goes BALLISTIC..
"Sabke saamne mere Ishu KO BLAME karti.." Amma charges Toshi. Toshi ji REALLY NEEDED IT. Amma literally YELLS at Toshi ji...that no matter HOW MUCH her daughter does for Bhalla family, the Punjabis remain to be ungrateful...and Toshi ji yells BACK at Amma...Normally, I like their banter..but today, it was a mean verbal duel...with Toshi ji and Amma playing Who's-voice-can-reach-the-ends-of-the-Earth competition...But I was glad that SOMEONE CHARGED Toshi ji...Later, Mr. Bhalla and Mr. Iyer interrupted the dueling samdhins and separated them...taking them to their respective homes...
Toshi ji is fussing over ADI. She asks Ruhi what she's doing...I didnt exactly get Ruhi was doing at the moment...but somewhere along the line, she mentioned "Ishima" and ADI POSITIVELY FLARED UP. Toshi ji looked SHOCKED...but that's it...iss shocking expression ka baad mein KOI matlab nahin hoga..
Raman came back home..with the veshti he got for ADI. Everybody's excited. Loved the way Raman wrapped the veshti around ADI...LOVED RAMAN..EVERY BIT...IN EVERY PORE OF RKB, RUNS A WONDERFULLY DEVOTED FATHER...they are BOTH dressed in veshti...had had I NOT HATED ADI so much...I'd have totally lapped up this Papa-Beta bonding over veshti wrapping...
ADI's thinking "Inko meri pooja mein KISNE BULAYA? when Ishita greeted the father-son duo at the entrance...MORON...YOU ARE THE BLOODY GUEST..NOT YOUR DAD'S LEGALLY-WEDDED WIFE...YOU HAVE BEEN DONE A FAVOUR BY BEING CALLED FOR THE POOJA..WANTED TO WHACK HIM RIGHT ACROSS HIS MEAN FACE
"Sabkuch tumse poochke karna padega?" Raman counter-questions Ishita when she asked him about who he held the pooja for. 😛 I like it when Raman ACTS gruff, when in reality, he's all Jelly and Butter INSIDE
EVEN AFTER the fight, Amma very sweetly helps Toshi ji tuck in her saree properly, since she was having a prob with it...If I hadnt been pissed with Toshi ji STILL, I'd say she was lking DIFFERENT..in a very pretty sort of way...but then nice to see..Amma doesnt like holding grudges...
The Poojari tells everybody the rules of the pooja...that "iss mandir mein jo bhi mannat mango, woh poori ho jaati hai" "jiske liye aapne mannat mangi hai, use aapke saath baithna hoga..."and then...when he gave Raman the cue to call the person who he had kept the mannat for.. Raman extended his hand towards Ishita..at the same time, ADI held out his hand tenderly...and was PISSED when he saw the pooja was intended for Ishita...Ishita looked a tad bit unsure..and well..hesitant...I'D have TORN my hair apart, had she said, "Yeh toh aapne ADI ke liye rakha tha naa?"AT THAT MOMENT. THANK GOD SHE DIDNT. SHE'LL GET TO LIVE A FEW MORE YEARS NOW😛 SHE GRACEFULLY ACCEPTED IT..❤️
P.S. Loved seeing Raman in his original AVTAR...no majboori..no begging..nothing...THIS IS THE RAMAN I WAS MISSING ALL THESE MONTHS..i am GLAD and OVERJOYED I'VE GOT HIM BACK...in some measure, atleast
P2S. Was actually crying when he held out his hand for ISHITA...and not ADI...even though ADI's hand was CLEARLY visible...Dnt think Raman saw ADI's hand extended towards him and DONT CARE...I'm just BLISSFULLY HAPPY THAT HE PRIORITISED HIS WIFE OVER HIS CRIMINAL-MINDED MANIAC SON..THERE CAN BE NO GREATER EXPRESSION OF LOVE THAN THIS..
P3S. Loved Ruhi's reaction when ADI yelled at Ishima's name...SHE LOOKED POSITIVELY OFFENDED...guess..she'll teach her crazy brother a few good lessons later on in the episodes
P4S. WHAT can be more romantic and AWW-WORTHY than seeing a rugged, handsome DEVOTED MADLY-IN-LOVE husband take his pretty wife in his arms and making a parikrama around the sacred fire??
PRECAP - Everybody's gushing over the Pooja pics...taken on ADI's phone...and that mad kid loses it and asks RUHI to give it back to him..Raman is kinda unsettled seeing this strange reaction...WHAT MORE WILL CONVINCE HIM, HIS BRATTY SON CANT STAND HIS VIRTUOUS WIFE AND WILL DO ANYTHING POSSIBLE TO DRIVE HER OUTTA THE HOUSE??😔😡
