She would have made situation worse and favourable to Adi if she tried to reason.

First any person will believe a kid more than an elder person in that situation.Especially a step mom and step son situation.

If she had argued and try to reason and blame Adi.It will be too obvious and instigate doubt in other's mind.So now it is left as a mistake .But di't went to septson basis till now before BHalla's

If she had tried few may believe few may not.But this will definitly sow seed of doubt more than present case

Ishita should have told Raman, but I guess CVs have others plans. Maybe we will see ishita giving up on Adi and sacrificing,.I don't think even the CVs know what they are doing yet, so they left it open..
