Yeh Hai Mohabbatein: Why is Ishita aka Miss Goody-two-shoes not able to see Mihika's reality?

Ishita's golden heart compels her to help out those in need. If that's the case, why isn't she able to realize what Mihika is going through?

In the last episode, we saw Madhavi being troubled to see Mihika (Mihika Verma) and Ashok's (Sangram Singh) closeness at the party. She was disheartened to see the two dancing together and enjoying themselves in front of Mihir (Raj Singh Arora). Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi) too was furious with Mihika, and questioned her on her vile behaviour. Mihika dismissed Ishita's jibes and stated that she didn't care for anyone's feelings. Vandu realized something was fishy with Mihika's story and tried confronting her about the same. The episode ended with Mihika stating that all should mind their own business and she didn't wish to speak to anyone.

Ishita has a heart of gold no doubt. But what's irrational is her inability to judge right from wrong. Where, on one hand, I fail to understand why she chooses to entertain Shagun (Anita Hassanandani) unnecessarily, on the other, her contradictory behaviour towards Mihika confuses me. Ishita is willing to sacrifice a whole lot for Aditya's happiness. Be it obliging to Shagun's needs, going against Raman's wishes or being a victim of Aditya's wrath, Ishita continues to smile and take it all.

However, when it is about her own cousin Mihika, Ishita is unable to help her out or see the reality. My darling Ishita, if you are truly this nice, why aren't you able to realize that Mihika has married Ashok out of a forced deal? I was thoroughly impressed with her when she supported Mihika during her controversy with Ashok. However, things seem to have taken a turn in Ishita's nice' land where she refuses to help Mihika and understand that her cousin can't be untrustworthy to the limit of marrying Ashok out of her own choice.

Spoiler: In the upcoming episode, we will see Shagun leaving the country for a bit. She will keep Aditya with Raman and Ishita and will instigate him against them. How will the two react when Aditya will lash out at Ishita yet again? Stay tuned to find out!
