Some people are saying Bhallas are sexists. I do NOT agree with them because they are not. Toshiji is old school but other should correct her as she is repeating the same dialogue over and over. Honestly speaking, the "ghaar ka chiraaag" dialog is annoying, irritating and most importantly offensive. It's an indirect indication of gender discrimination. This show is madly followed by all walks of people, CVs should be careful about the message they are spreading in the name of drama.

A sensible post about this issue. Toshiji and her dialogues are very annoying. It makes a bad impression about Ruhi. And I agree "ghar ka chirag' dialogue is offensive. Other Bhallas should correct her next time she says.

This is the bitter truth of indian society. Boys are given priority over girls. Talking about the show Adi has been everyone's fav. He never respected his father, grand parents, sister leave alone loving them. Still he gets all the love. Whereas Ruhi who is full of love craved for his father who only cried for Adi. Ruhi's love has been taken for granted. It's a simple theory. We tend to take those ppl for granted who love us unconditionally n run behind those who ignore us. Same is the case with Aditya n Ruhi. Sorry to say Toshiji was a big disappointment today. She clearly showed wat place ishita n ruhi holds in the house. Raman would be no less. I expect the least from him. We had a small scene where raman shares his insecurities regarding shagun n adi troubling ishita. ToshijI calmed him down saying she wont let any one harm ishita. This is how she meant to do it? What double standards. U tell a lady who turned ur son's depressing life into a beautiful one to leave for a boy who has always disrespected everyone.

Agree!! Toshiji should check her over enthusiasm regarding Adi and her ghar chirag dialogue is very offensive. What does she think about Ruhi then? If rich and educated people have this sort of mindset, the society will remain stagnant...

1st of all the CVs of Indian tv should just open their eyes n come to reality ...which son in this world is lyk RKB or any other ML of serials taking care of their parents in old age???
Reality is now all men r behind their job n family...all sons r busy in working for their wyf n children.

When parents r sick its only a daughter who rushes to her house to take care of dem..its a bitter truth..but still people call sons as gar ka chirag...daughters r meant only to takecare of them???no their ghar ka chirag??

Wat a selfish thought...? N our society has started realising the importance of having a beti...i duno wen will these CVs come out of their 1960s dream world...
