WOW that's just a wonderful post by you and the collage too. It shows just what the episode was all about.
Like you said and I totally agree to it that one part of me wanted hug Raman for the intention with which he wanted to take this step. His pain, his anguish he was going through just to escape and not want pain to be inflicted on her was touching. But then another part of me wants to question how running away from Ishita would help her. If he thinks his past is inflicting pain on her, he should stay put, beside her as he has so far and help her fight it. Going away would make her incomplete again. Yes she has Ruhi, but will her life be complete without the man who made it possible for her to be Ruhi's mother in every sense. YES Ruhi chose Ishita as her mom, but Raman did too. By letting Ishita have all of Ruhi's responsibility, by trusting her with Ruhi even when they couldn't stand the other. Although he thinks he has hurt her, he's the one whose also stood by her as has she. And that's what a marriage is about.
But in between all of that, today there were some wonderful moments.
1. Raman's despair, him wanting to escape but not being able to. The moment he stares at his world, his wife and daughter asleep without any worry in the world.. the moment was touching.
2. Ishita's desperation to tell Raman her feelings.. Divyanka was amazing with the scenes.
3. The precap had be bowled over.
