Shagun wanted to talk to Raman about his love for Ishita and Ishita wanted to talk to Raman about something that has been on her mind for past few days. Ishita wanted to talk to Raman about getting her apartment ready for her and the baby to move in after the birth. She feels that they have supported them enough and she should be able to manage after the birth. She doesn't want to burden them anymore. The hidden reason was to run away from Raman and the growing feelings she has for Raman.

But as fate had it, Shagun reached Raman first. Ishita due to obvious reasons, was getting tired and out of breath by the time she reached Raman's bedroom door. She was about to leave seeing Shagun there, but stopped hearing her name being mentioned. What she heard was nothing less than like being hit by a lightning bolt.

Shagun: Raman, office ja rahe ho?

Raman: ha, kuch kaam tha?

Shagun: no just wanted to knock some sense into your head and talk to you about Ishita

Raman: shocked, turns around to look at her. What do you mean?

Shagun: when are you going to tell Ishita that you are in love with her?

Raman: what??? Are you crazy??? We are just friends.

Shagun: oh, cut the crap Raman. You know that I love you. But I see how happy you are when she is around. I have seen the bond you share with her baby. Oh god, I just came last night. And within few hours, I realized your love for her and after 6 months, you haven't realized it? Tell her. What are you waiting for?

Raman: YES, SHAGUN, I AM IN LOVE WITH ISHITA SINCE LONG TIME. BUT I DON'T THINK SHE LOVES ME. I DON'T THINK ISHITA AND I CAN EVER BE TOGETHER. I AM SCARED THAT IF I TELL HER MY FEELINGS, SHE WILL LEAVE AND I DON'T WANT TO LOOSE THE REALTIONSHIP WE HAVE NOW TO GET SOMETHING IN FUTURE I AM SO UNSURE ABOUT. I WILL NEVER TELL HER. I HAVE MADE UP MY MIND. AND ISHITA I THINK STILL IS IN LOVE WITH THAT PIECE OF CRAP OF A MAN.

As soon as Raman finishes his last sentence, they hear something breaking. They both turn around and are shocked at what they see. They both rushes towards the door.

They find ishita soaked in tears ready to faint. By the time they reach the door, Ishita has fallen on the floor, and is now clutching her belly and screaming. Raman rushes to her and takes her in his arms. He is caressing her forehead, rubbing her hands, rubbing her belly and screaming,

Raman: mummy, doctor ko phone karo, I am taking ishita into the hospital. Ishita, Ishita, look at me honey. Please don't faint on me. You need to stay awake. For the baby, for me. Please please please

Ishita: Raman, please save my baby. Please don't let anything happen to my baby Raman.

Raman: Ishita, don't worry. I won't let anything happen to you both.

By now Ishita has lost consciousness and she is bleeding.

Raman carries Ishita in his arms to his car. Shagun and Toshiji joins him to. Shagun is driving, Toshiji is the front passenger seat, an unconscious ishita and Raman in the back seat. Raman has ishita in a side hug. He is holding her hand.

Raman: Ishita, honey, everything is going to be ok. I won't let anything happen to you both. I promise. Screaming now, Shagun, please hurry up yaar.

He is also praying to god to keep them safe.

Raman: Matarani, please in dono ki raksha karna. Main jee nahi pavunga inn dono ke bina.

At the hospital,

Raman rushes inside the hospital carrying Ishita and screams:

Raman: arre, where is Dr. Gupta? I need Dr. Gupta here right now.

Dr. Reeti Gupta rushes towards them and ask Raman to put Ishita on a stretcher.

Raman: nahi, I won't put her down. Not on that uncomfortable stretcher. I will be put them down on a bed. Where is her room?

Dr. Gupta guides them to Ishita's labor room.

Raman puts Ishita on the bed and tells Dr. Gupta about her fall.

Dr. Gupta: Mr. Bhalla. It is not good that she is unconscious. She was instructed to take complete rest in her last trimester. After her last fall in her first trimester, her baby sack has weakened and we discovered during her 6^th month checkup that the baby could be born prematurely. She was supposed to be bed ridden. Did she not tell you? I don't know if they will survive this fall? If she doesn't gain her consciousness in next few minutes, the baby will suffocate and drown in the fluids. We might have to operate. But I am hopeful.

(Please don't get into nitty gritty medical things here)

Raman is shocked was an understatement. He for a moment goes silent, with tears in his eyes. He is scared shitless. He sees his life slipping away from his hands like sand. He goes to Ishita and holds her hand and kisses her forehead and cries. Still lingering at her forehead,

Raman: I am so sorry Ishita. I had promised to keep you both safe. Please get up, please please please. If you don't our baby can die. Please get up. Main mar jaunga tumhare bina.

Subconsciously, Ishita had felt the kiss and has heard his pleas. She slowly opens her eyes and touches Raman's chick, letting him know she is up.

Raman lifts his head to see Ishita awake. He immediately rushes to doctor.

Doctor does an ultrasound and finds the baby healthy, normal heart beat and other vitals. Raman, Toshiji and Shagun are joyous to hear that.

Dr. Gupta: Ishita, the baby has to come out now. We have 2 options, natural delivery or C-section.

Ishita: no C-section doctor. I am ready to push.

Raman is glad to hear that. The feisty Ishita is back. She will fight for her baby, their baby.

Raman is right there next to her, feeding her ice chips and wiping sweat beads off of her forehead after the nurse gave her an epidural.

After she was dilated enough, doctor asked Raman to leave the room. Toshiji stayed back and Raman goes out.

He sits with Shagun all dejected.

Raman: yeh sab meri wajah se hua hai. Ishita ki iss halat ka jimmedar main hu. Agar un dono main se ek ko kuch bhi hua hota to main apne aap ko kabhi maaf nahi kar pata.

Shagun tries to console him, but it is of no use.

For two long hrs, Raman hears Ishita's screams. Tears automatically rolls down his chicks thinking about the amount of pain Ishita is in. All of a sudden, there is a minute of complete silence and then Raman hears the sound that makes him break out into a smile. The cry of a baby, his baby, and the one he has been waiting for

Dr. Gupta finally comes out of the labor room, along with Toshiji and a little angel in her arms. Ishita has given birth to a very beautiful baby girl.

Will ishita accept Raman's love for her and the baby? Will she be able to move on in her life? Is she going to welcome the happiness coming along with Raman or is she going slam those doors on the face of happiness and love in the name of her NEVER AGAIN promise?
