this article has so many mistakes, it says South Indians prefer broad-day light wedding, it doesn't apply to all.. in most of the AP & Telangana.. almost 75% weddings are in the night 😛
SI don't have anything ritual called Sangeet at all.. what ever people do are.. they've copied from NI's nothing more 😆
all the Iyer wedding muhurats are crazy early in the morning... i have rarely heard of any in the afternoon. but never after sunset
as far as i know there is no Iyer wedding custom (other than the 'reception' which isnt a non-traditional custom) which is held in the evenings for the actual wedding. I know there is an engagement ceremony that could happen in the evening before the wedding, but the actual wedding is almost always in the mornings.
