Using JKR quotes for what I saw yesterday - an amazing change in dynamics
And am on a HP Overload, so apologies in advance if this is too much to endure
Especially for you Anu..đ¤

The story is at an interesting place where we can see a few lives integrating, while a few disintegrating
"We are only as strong as we are united, as weak as we are divided" J.K. Rowling, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
While each trouble brings Ishita and Raman closer as a family that live together and fight together, for the other.
Today with Simmi understanding the true nature of her husband and accepting it in front of the family, made the whole family even stronger to fight.
With each member of the family backing up the other, Ishita and Raman are not alone in their fight to live a good life.
While, Shagun stands alone today. She destroyed her life with her own hands, lost a husband who worshiped her, lost the family who would do anything for her as all she preferred to this love and family was Money and Social status
Today she is on the verge of losing that too
A woman who couple of days back was demanding a PreNup with full power and control knows that the tables are turned
She is begging to stay with the man who she says she "Loves". What she really loves is her Societal status, Money, Page 3 appearances and somewhere down this list of selfish obsessions lies the love for her son.
A love which can be pawned for her benefit
Now Assoak wants to get rid of her, he too has no respect for that relationship which he had formed by luring her to break her then existing ones.
So Karma is going to get him too. He too is actually alone today - lets see how long his brother will be with him when his ship starts sinking
"It is our choices that show what we truly are far more than our abilities." J. K. Rowling,, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
Ishita and Shagun
Ishita by ability might not be able to bear a child but her ability to be a mother is beyond what Shagun can ever dream to be.
While Shagun had the ability to become a mother, she chose not to.
Both made their choice and both are "bearing" the repercussions of the same
While one got a husband, a child, a family and just more and more love and respect each day, the other lost every day. Each bond getting severed by the choice she made and the actions that followed the choice
A woman who chose to bask in status and money rather than in the love of a family and children
Also, the choice both made really brought out their (dis)ability for all to see.
A woman gained by her "loss" and another lost by her "gain"
"The fact that you can feel pain like this is your greatest strength" J.K. Rowling, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
Shagun preferred to be oblivious to the turmoil her son was going through with the changing relationships of his parents. She didn't even understand the pain Ruhi was going through when she was shunted between her parents.
For her, Her children were something to be claimed, not loved.
In contrast Ishita is able to understand what the child is going through, esp Adi even though his heart is filled with hatred for her.
And Not only the children, Ishita understood the pain Raman and his family had gone through and touched each one with her goodness.
She brought the family back to lead a normal life with just love and understanding.
Raman - a person who has shouldered all the pain and responsibility of his family has found a willing partner to share everything. Happiness and Pain.
Though his life was in a deep mess since Shagun left him he still did not forget taking care of his parents and siblings.
If a person can feel the pain of his/her loved one, he/she will also have the power to remove it.
He/She will move heaven and earth to soothe the pain. But one has to feel the pain and that can only happen when one puts human emotions above material wants.
It also gives the ability to stand and fight together
"Indifference and neglect often do much more damage than outright dislike..." J.K. Rowling, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
In all the ruckus that is happening the person who is affected most is Adi.
The kid is already dealing with neglect and indifference, is clinging to his mom as he feels that's where he gets some emotion for him
He will be broken the day he realizes that his mom values status and money more than his well being, when he realizes he has been fed a pack of lies about this father
He will be shattered the day when he realizes he could have had his fathers love and care instead of years of neglect courtesy his mom.
Today based on his mothers words and an inner conflict and refusal to see the truth, he hates Ishita to the core and thinks she is the reason for all the issues.
But he will know one day that the problems started way back when Ishita wasn't even part of his father's life and that's when he will not only accept her but also accept what he actually wants, the love of a family, the care of parents.
Only then this poor boy will start living. Today the poor child stands (at least emotionally)alone.
