Yeahh I agree. Good they used the logic to find out. But seriously I was laughing when the Doctor informed Ishita that she is still a virgin and Ishita was so happy hearing that lol 😆
For reals they have shown that Mihir and Mihika have been together for so long, but whats the point of letting the viewer know that they haven't done it yet. Its like they are saying, "see even though they love each other, they haven't gotten intimate because they are not married yet".. Ughh i get frustrated with these Indian soap constantly asserting that "only sex are marriage is acceptable"!!

There are MANY in the US that firmly believe and follow that... I dont think its a progressive or regressive thing at all. Its how some families are...

I think Indian parents are protective and caring, they dont want their kids to end up with AIDs or other sexually transmitted disease...

Not everything about sexual promiscuity is all that its cut out to be...

Sorry, just MO😃

Cheers!

if it's for adi custody what is the need for shagun to enter the Bhalla house? If she comes there to live how does that help to reopen the custody case? Only if she stay away will custody case opening happen

Bottom line custody or no custody shagun coming to Bhalla house itself is murder of the show
There is no sanity no logic no uniqnesness left it has become full of shitty drama
I mean who does keep their ex at their home especially after one is remarried? Even if it's for a kid no one can live like this

agree..and I thought india had moved on...at least not making a point of reminding audiences that the good girls are virgins. ..and the rest are characterless and promiscuous..🥱at least hindi movies have taken a huge leap in that department...thankfully.
this is my first indie serial...so happy waking up for me I guess...🤢..Esp a serial which deals with extra marital affairs..divorce ..infertility and the likes...😕..I kinda hoped for better i guess..

No, I agree that there are many families and individuals that believe in abstinence. I don't think there is anything wrong with that. I am just talking about how it is shown. To me it seems like it was so important for them to tell the audience that "Mihika is a virgin" because then her stand of whatever she did to bring out Ashok's true face is justified even though she took that drink from him. I mean fine but they could have just said that it was not rape. Just emphasizing on the fact that she is a virgin kind of threw me off.
And you don't have to be sorry, I respect your opinion 😊

That's what threw me off too. They show Shagun in a live-in relationship with her boyfriend and obviously thats fine because she is suppose to be "bad" or the "villain". But Mihika comes from a "sanskari" family and is Ishita's sister and is a "good girl", thus she needs to be "virgin" Like seriously the message that they are sending across is not right!!

Because as a nation we value virtue maybe? (I say we though I don't live there any more, sorry)
I dont agree with verify virginity before marriage etc... that might be yet another urban myth perpetuated by Western media just like flying carpets😃

Some societal norms are hard to change... some changes are GOOD some not so good...

US grapples with teen pregnancies, India doesnt
US struggles with gun violence in schools India doesnt

I do agree there are many other issues in both countries...

Marriage is still considered respectable...in India
In a country where lawlessness is such a huge problem there are many benefits to some things being the old fashioned way

Thanks for respecting my opinion

Yes LoveInAutumn26. .
i was quite impressed with the equation between mihir mihika..they at least looked like a real career focussed 2014 couple...spending time with each other. .getting intimate etc..the sexy nighty scene..the kissing scenes..I was genuinely surprised with how comfortable the script was with these scenes...but i cheered too soon i guess.
so fine .. you don't want to take up a touchy topic great!..But was there a need to make a point like this...it cheesed me off too...🤢
yeah..shagun being in a live in is accepted..cos she is a characterless vamp i guess...so good gals even if they spend intimate moments with their fiance have to give a proof of their pavitrata...if a so called modern soap says this. .wonder what the rest do..😕

That's what I don't understand. I don't see the point of Shagun and Adi coming back to the Bhalla house either, especially Shagun. The only reason they might give is because Raman doesn't want Adi to stay at Ashok's after all this and since Adi can't stay w/o Shagun, thus Shagun coming back to the Bhallas. But it might also go the other way around with Shagun going back to Ashok, and Raman opening up the custody case, and proving that Shagun and especially Ashok is not a good influence in Adi's life. And this could be how Raman could get the custody of Adi, but you can never be sure with the cvs 😕

PB

Maybe because she was raised the old fashioned way in Chennai by conservative parents that DONT expect her to go to bed with Mihir before the wedding?

You probably know and understand decisions are rarely taken by the individual in India... especially single girls, how ever "modern" are still accountable to their parents

Just a thought...
