In Tamil there is a term for it, for women that fight near municipality water faucets "Kozha adi sandai" its called fighting over water filling rights apparently women are known to use foul abusive language...

At least they have the justification of being poor and have no water supply in their homes

Shagun is down right cheap

Ishita is part of the "clean up-sprinkle Ganga jal-make everything better- accept every one-fight with no one" crew👏

She will only get more Sanskari and forgiving so that her difference with Shagun gets more starkly evident😳👏

Unfortunately there is no difference between Ishita and any other leading lady of any other soap Ive watched... Ive watched over a 100... THEY ARE ALL EXACTLY THE SAME

I only watch it for mindless senseless ISHRA how ever meaningless it may be I only like that

But seems to me like letting go of Ishita may be a good idea...Raman can focus on his work

She can do what ever Devi Maiyyas do when she lives in her parents'

home. I bet she will spy on Bhallaji, or Romi or Simmi and get her hands dirty all over again

She could hear Ruhi cry from 50 feet away... anything is possible

But unfortunately Desi soaps dont pan out the way the viewer wants...

Its not worth watching... I wanted to watch and savor how any 20 something girl can make a COMPLETE ASS of herself under the garb of "modernity"😡

She did it because Shagun achhi hai

She didnt tell Mihir because he would quit talking with Shagun

She did it because Ashok is a scum bag

She didnt tell her Akka because Brazil did not produce enough coffee this year

She did it because she lives in a rebel state like Congo or Nicaragua where people HAVE to take law in their own hands

This is the only show i started watching after several years. It seemed close to real life with a strong female lead no nonsense and full of coomon sense, practical dentist and the raw energy and emotional raman bhalla. Alas, this track even though high on drama and will appeal to the saas bahu crowd, is so..stupid. All we are left now are mahan and sappy characters far removed from the original characters. The OLVs of raman saying to Mihir that we are lucky that we have these women in our lives who even put theit honour at stake for us - takes the cake in my POV. It will be like giving these mahan ladies license to do more absurd things in future. No self respecting woman will put her honor at stake that too without backup and for a self centered sis-in-law who knew about the humiliation that ishita went through but still was going ahead with the wedding plans..that should have given her the hint that shagun did not need any saving...but mihika was sacrificed for trp.

I am thankful that Ishita did not get this idea of exposing Param to Simmi by trying to seduce him...too gross to think.. Actor who plays Param is very creepy and scary and treat to watch him, do get nightmares about him..it is sad state of YHM that i look forward to Param scenes, anything better the sappy sacrificing scenes..

The episode was that good huh? Another one that I have to gear myself up to watch. Alas for the days when watching YHM was an enjoyable event.😳

Loved your write up. So crimes against women continue to go unpunished in the show. After all Ashok is a Mard with natural uncontrollable feelings and desires so he can never be blamed for anything.

I cannot believe this OTT desire to do something for a woman who has proved time and time again that she does not get it, she does not care and she is not worth it. Poor Mihir, the Iyer group of benevolent sisters will ensure he has a relationship with his sister whether he wants to or not. They of course know what is in his best interest.

Too bad that Ishita has to go from a logical sensible woman to this irritating character. As you said, what about calling the police, taking Mihika to the hospital, collecting evidence. But what can you expect, Ishita was taunted and terrified by a group of men recently. It could have gone further if she had not escaped. To date there have been no consequences.

Again a caution to CV's. If you are going to take on serious topics show a logical conclusion. If you can't then stick to a story that we want to see. Show us the mohabbatein, not these twisted disgusting storylines. I am with you, Nisha, I won't mind a bit if we get fluffy romance.
