Today's episode was pretty much a hogwash in terms of IshRa's screen moments together. Of course, with the wedding plans in full swing, who cares for the leads, and that's understandable.
Except that, Ishita was a bit too eager, too willing, too compliant in "helping" Shagun dress up...and Toshiji was a bit too juvenile in her attempt to give Shagun a taste of her own medicine. Ishita could have been portrayed by someone who has some self-respect, atleast to not offer help, unless it was asked of her, to her sauten atleast...even shagun commented derisively..
It was quite shocking to see Toshi ji smiling and laughing away to glory, with that semi-soft, patronising look in her eyes...all prepared to add raunak to her ex-bahu's wedding preparations..she had me thinking she was heavily influenced by Ishita's nobility and goody-goody nature...but then, acting like a "meethi chhuri', she did what she had set out to do, to gift her ex-bahu scratchy hands,feet and face... I really feel the CVs are running out of vengeful ideas...I mean, Ishita was right...Toshi behaved like a child out there...adding mirchi to the haldi? And then giggling about it like she had effectively ruined Shagun's day? Sitting in my drawing room, I'd conjured up better plans than this!!duh!!
but anyway, given how bitchy MILs can be, and how much they can make lives hell for their present DILs, I can understand the hatred and disgust for an ex-DIL. lol. So on that count, I forgive Toshi ji.
Ishita ...in one word...was beautiful...calm, serene, like a dove...that simple understated elegance she carried off in an off-white saree with the golden-ish border was enuff to make me fall in love with her...except, the weird-looking pearl danglers reaching all the way inside her hair..atleast it seemed like tht..and it looked funny...Raman, doesnt even need mentioning coz its just 2-3 minutes of screen time today where, much like a fallen poet or so, he makes this sad face and says "agar tum khush ho toh main khush hun"...I REALLY MISS HIS ONE-LINERS. This sadness, becharapan does not suit him at all!! he needs to get out of that!!
NOW...to the main lead for the next god knows how many episodes...MIHIKA
Mihika, is one dumb girl. period. we need no more proof of her half-witted, silly plans...She must have asked Mihir at least 20 times between the last two episodes if he is happy. Of course, he is happy...his sister;s getting married...Why then, I repeat, why would she undertake something sooo dangerous on the wedding day itself? What misfortune befell her? When Mihir's making it clear its the past and he wants to forget all that, why is she ruining it for him, shagun, the entire bhalla family???
I dont think Shagun, with her narcissistic, stubborn, bitchy attitude deserves sooo much sacrifice and care on her part! She thinks she is such a smart-ass no? She will just turn up like a seductress in the hotel room (Hotel Room, how damn cliche??) and Ashok wil just romance her away to the moon and back..and she will have it all recorded and then show it as proof of Ashok's lecherous attitude...
Wow...wat an amazing plan. And what courage to shoulder it all, without even informing her dear Akka about it!!
This episode has made one thing clear...the CVs probably realised Ashok's horrendous plans of putting Raman n his family never get realized and he is such a dumb ass, so he needs some support from a chap cleverer and more sinister than him..Suraj...who just happened to drop from the stars...Ashok, the crippled, stupid fool who couldnt gather his act untill his brother helped him out with it...sick...
I was laughing my guts out, despite the horror awaiting us in the next few episodes...how Ashok seems to only use his brains when Suraj puts things in perspective..only when Suraj tries and unfolds motives, secrets, plans..lol...such an ass...And in a way I also regret it that he is in the picture in the first place..I mean, Ashok is so damn horny and pathetic, he wudnt have imagined Mihika wud try and set him up unless SURAJ informed him of the same...
The romance between Mihir-Mihika was sooo real.that is much like how couples in love behave..so sweet...I wish IshRa get into this mode..the romance mode as soon as they can...but even that scene couldnt cheer me up for long, in the face of what's waiting for us tomorrow
PRECAP- Mihika all dressed for the damn 'act' in a blusih-black saree, with danglers and that mock seductive look, and Ashok behaving like he just got a chance to get laid with a woman after 50 yrs or so...is something we are all looking forward to, and at the same time, not looking forward to, i guess
I can imagine what's going to happen. The "stuff' is going to get recorded, sure...but not in the way she wants it to be. I am sorry..but this MMS wud be entirely of her own making!!
