I hate the Cv's for showing that scene where Raman tries to force himself on Ishita... But they played a dirty game according to me... And because of this the audience is caught in a catch 22... If they were sympathetic to Raman ( before this scene was shown) now they have turned into evil people who are against woman's dignity ( after the scene was shown)... So the CV's are actually holding a gun to our heads saying if you don't think Ishita is a hurt woman then you are a bad person!

that scene was absolutely in bad taste... Not required at all! And now the scene is getting thrown in every Raman supporter (even when they do not support that action of his) face!

No one is against women dignity... But the CV's have played such an evil game with us that whenever one speaks against Ishita's character it seems like that person is a devil and Parmeets brother or sister...who supports molesting women. (Please understand this guys)

Ishita's character was already dead for me and now Raman's character too became dead for me after that scene... the CV's tactic did not work on me!

They wanted to show Ramu as the brute he was and have suceed in it. But the real villains are the CV's who her playing with our sensibilities by showing us crappy thing under the guise of 'matured storytelling ' and we gullible 'fools' are swallowing every thing under the name of 'wonderful storytelling'!

Enough is enough!

No human being deserves to be abused, man OR woman. If Raman physically abused Ishita, Ishita emotionally abused Raman and for me, both are EQUALLY wrong. Just because you're a man doesn't mean you can be abused or that you can't cry out against abuse like a woman, and neither does a woman deserves disrespect.

I have seen many biased posts in this forum. Those who are saying that Raman's behavior is unforgivable are forgetting that Ishita has emotionally scarred Raman with her behavior, and yes that is abuse too, and no one has a right to abuse a man just like a man cannot abuse a woman. It goes both ways. Ishita's recent behavior with Mani goes far beyond that of best friend. Raman was totally cool with Ishita and Mani's friendship in the beginning. He joked about them but never felt jealous at heart. It was only when Ishita and Mani's behavior became over the top did he become jealous, and honestly, who can blame him? Just because Raman is a man, he cannot feel hurt when Ishita tells Mani she will leave her husband and child? What if their roles were reversed? Would Ishita, who easily believed a stranger Sanjana over her own husband about their so-called "affair", have felt totally fine if Raman's long-lost (female) best friend came into his life and started monopolizing his time and attention? No way. Ishita would have lectured Raman about how he doesn't respect his wife, how he doesn't spend time with his family, blah blah blah. Ishita has become so accustomed to lecturing Raman and pointing out his faults, that she believes herself to be a Goddess. Raman is Ravankumar, but she behaves as if she's Sita.

This issue has gone way beyond a woman's right to have a male best friend. This is no longer about having friends of the opposite gender. It's about maintaining one's dignity after marriage. BOTH man and woman have a responsibility towards their spouse after marriage, and yes, their best friends should come second in their life. After marriage, neither man nor woman should be as touchy with their best friend as before, because any spouse, whether it be wife or husband, would be insecure about that, and that is their right. Ishita has brought this situation upon herself. She does not deserve Raman's abuse, but she certainly plays a role in bringing it about. Just because she's a woman doesn't mean she's always innocent. Even women make mistakes. They're not angels.

I'm not supporting Raman's behavior, but lately I am really frustrated with the CVs for portraying him as a villain, Mani as a hero, and Ishita as an ideal woman who can do no wrong. Ishita is no Sita, and neither is Raman a Ravan. Both are simply flawed human beings, and if the CVs equally placed blame on both of them where it's deserved, I or other people in this forum would not have felt so frustrated. Naturally, we feel defensive of the character who is wrongly blamed for basically everything that's happening in the story. It's hard to feel sympathetic for Ishita when she has been reduced to such an annoying brat. I dearly miss the old Ishu who was strong, independent, but at the same time intelligent and fair. The CVs have murdered Raman and Ishita's characters beyond repair. Many people are not watching only for Karan and Divyanka.

Completely agree with you.. I saw so many comments by GIRLS saying how Raman's act was justified... Disappointed by them really.. Raman is being an ass and people justify him just because he is a man.. If us girls will say such regressive things then we cannot expect men to respect us.. It is shameful really that women are supporting a man who was trying to intimidate his wife using his physical strength.. That doesn't show respectfulness, rather shows how disgusting Raman really is.. Showing that a man needs to force himself on his wife in order to make her love him shows how sickening he really is.. He cannot be justified.. Even if he wasn't going to force himself.. He was trying to intimidate her and make her think that she will have to succumb to his wishes or else he might use physical violence or rape his own wife.. I don't think a woman deserves to live in that fear..
So please.. Before people justify him.. Make sure you think what would happen if you were in Ishita's place?

Where was this so called feminism when Ishita brought a rapist back to her house? Or people over here having retrograde amnesia?

PERFECT post...n ppl should know NONE...absolutely NONE is saying "its ok to manhandle"...!! Raman ws wrong there...but our prob is...Ishu IS wrong too which ws PERFECTLY explained by Janki here...!! taali ek haath se NAHI bajti...!! but here CVs r treatin Raman's char as if only he ws responsible for failure of IshRa marriage, only if he ws responsible for all wrong things b/w IshRa now..!!

its funny how ppl saw comments n jumped to conclusions without knowin fact...tht ws just a quote...n i ws one of them who liked it...but i NEVER meant...i am OK with physical abuse...aur na hi anyone...i dnt think evn the one who posted would meant tht...!! I for one can definitely say..!! hv said in posts too...so where did evn this thing of "physical abuse is right" came...i hv NOT seen a single comment saying or evn indirectly saying physical abuse is wrong...so makin post lik this n treatin ppl DID SOME SERIOUS CRIME n they cant evn be called humans is AWFUL n UNCALLED FOR..!!

AGREE! AGREE! AGREE!👏that's all i have to say really...

i just can't believe some of the words being tossed around to describe both Ishita and Raman these days.

I am emotionally invested in them too but some of the name calling in defense is a bit much...

@ the end of the day this is a show and they are characters that we all know are going to get back together stronger and more committed.

You can't take those words back, these jumping to conclusion terms says more about society's views in these circumstances then anything else ... and that just makes me sad!😕
