At the end u r indian too..

Morden ppl also have backward thinking...
It not about being modern its about mentality ...

Even if we debate for years it wont help...its depend on person to person mentality not being Morden by wearing modern dress...

That's a SERIOUS statement. You can tell her in defense that she was in a frolic mood but then it wasn't acceptable at all just like Raman's drunk behavior is not acceptable.

Lol..tht was just a joke she didn't meant...this and Raman dirinking has no relation at all...
I noe u will disagree...

I don't GORAS dont utters such things...bcoz its has no big deal...if ur husband and ur motive is not wrong..husband has trust on her...

This is never ending debate.. 🥱

Guys at least wait for the episode or some confirmation about Raman feeling guilty
Come on aiysa bhi toh ho sakta hai na ki even after learning the truth he won't be believing thstvishu doesn't love mani?
His Doubts got confirmed only after he saw her hugging and saying ILU so he may think she cares for him and his family but loves mani so he won't feel guilty and beg for forgiveness...
and I guess tomorrow he will agree to shagun and allow ruhi to be part of her marriage even if he sees ishu hurting

So just wait for episode and see if raman is going to beg or not
Just cuz DT and SbS said ishu won't clarify and won't forgive him doesn't mean it can actually happen... Assumptions form SbS are not right always

Thanks for understanding what will happen if it was REAL. Since we live in REEL, often forget what impact it will bring in REAL LIFE.

But that doesn't mean to lose decency. What you said in BOLD was right, some native Indians do react like that. But did Ishita do any of them? Heck! No. She wanted to leave her husband and daughter for an outsider. That's a SERIOUS statement. You can tell her in defense that she was in a frolic mood but then it wasn't acceptable at all just like Raman's drunk behavior is not acceptable.

Most of the females here in our Indian community who watch YHM termed her behavior as "SHAMELESS". Even the "goras/whites" we think as epitome of modernity would never utter such words in a jovial mode. There is something in every relationship that you just can't cross.

I also live in the United States. Born here actually.

A few things you have mentioned in your response above really irked me. Firstly, does anyone understand the concept of joking in this forum? Ishita was JOKING!! She had no actual intentions to leave her husband and child. Everyone jokes around and I have noticed that people from India don't have the tendency to differentiate between jokes and reality and can easily be offended by jokes. Secondly, you claim Mani is an outsider. He is Ishita's childhood friend therefore not an outsider. Friends can be just like family and most ppl do not consider their best friends as outsiders. This is my point of view and not meant to offend anyone.

It's not hagging , it called SHAGGING. And, good luck with that.
BTW, you proved ur native Indian too. You directly question about others depth of modernity without thinking much.😆

Absolutely right. Here the issue is about a husband and a wife. This has nothing to do with feminism or woman's rights and definitely not about society going forward or backward. Husband wife relation is the same throughout the world. Both of them can fight anything together. But if you bring third person it will turn ugly and painful. Once you are married you cannot cross certain limits. Ishita would have reacted the same way if it were Raman who did this and we all would have bashed Raman even more.
I hope they keep this in mind in the show.
